Amoma.com the worst company ever

Honestly, they are the worst of the worst. People, I recommend you to use other websites for booking, thank god the choice is enormous.
So here's my story. I booked a room in New York, but by mistake put wrong dates. I thought all I have to do is to cancel it, but it was impossible.
I wanted to find out how to contact the company itself, but they said they can't provide me with information like this. so I could call them and attempt to cancel, but they wouldn't share this information.
Very nice. You're simply the worst on earth.

Amoma.com its a scam

My complaint has to do with the non-existent customer service that's impossible to reach when it comes to refunds. I was on hold for about 3 hours waiting for their response and didn't succeed. They hide information about my money on their website and contacting them is really hopeless.
I'm pretty sure they are scammers and recommend you to avoid them.

Amoma.com hotel booking

My holiday in Canada was ruined by the messy handling of Amoma.com. I booked a room for two persons at Executive Hotel And Conference Centre in Burnaby B.C. of Canada from July 25 to August 2, a total of eight days. Because of personal reasons, I had to check in on July 27. That is two days after my initial booking. For securing my booking, I did inform Amoma.com through its webpage on July 23.

Upon my arrival at the hotel on July 27 at 11 pm, the hotel front desk person told me that there was no reservation for me. She simply explained that no one at Amoma.com contacted the hotel management for my delay . To make the matter worse, there was no room even I was willing to pay. I sent an message via Amoma.com webpage immediately and made numerous calls, but there weren't any responses. It was unimaginable that my family had to find a place to sleep late at that night.

I did return to the hotel the next day and booked a room from July 28 to August 2, a total of five days at walk-in price. You can tell how frustrated I was at that point. How can a self-claimed trustworthy travel website continue to offer services?

Amoma.com price charged for upcoming pittsburgh hotel stay.

On July 7th, 2017 I booked 2 rooms through Trivago for August 7 and 8, 2017 at the Residence Inn North Shore in Pittsburgh, PA. The rooms were booked by Amoma.com for those dates, booking #[protected], total cost charged to my AMEX card was $670. 4 or 5 days later I called the hotel to clarify if the reservation was for 2 rooms or a 2 bedroom suite. The hotel (or hotel call center) said it was 2 rooms, 1 for James Jensen (me) reservation # [protected] and the other room for Richard Sylvain reservation # [protected]. That's as it should be, however the cost for each room charged by the hotel for the 2 nights was $237 each, or $196 less that Amoma.com/Trivago charged me.

When I called Amoma.com for an explanation I was put on hold continually and never received an answer. The reason I used Trivago was to get the best price for the rooms, not to pay 41% more for reservations I could have made with the hotel itself. Since our stay is still 2 weeks away I don't want to risk cancelling my current reservation with Trivago at the Residence Inn North Shore, Pittsburgh. I would like a credit of $196 to my American Express card and an explanation.

Amoma.com beware and avoid!

Amoma is a terrible scam, under no circumstances don't use them!
I booked a hotel stay and after I paid I even received a confirmation message.
Several days later I decided to order some extra special service to my room and called the hotel. I was shocked when the hotel manager said that there was no reservation under my name! I explained that I made my reservation via Amoma website and he replied that in that case he wasn't surprised. Hotel manager said that I wasn't the first one who got scammed by Amoma.
I can't believe that this kind of site is allowed to do business. Is there really nothing we can do to shut them down?
Beware and avoid!

Have you tried to contact Amoma to ask for a confirmation of your booking or did you just leave it to the hotel's fate?

Terrible customer service
Wanted to change dates of my break to the following week due to my daughter having emergency surgery, the hotel had no problem with this but needed a little email from amoma. They tell you they are dealing with the problem but wait until its too late so they can't do it. This seems to be common practice with this agency who help no one then bombard you with standard emails and rude phone calls, stay away from amoma!

Amoma.com promised a refund, but I never received my money back

I made a reservation through Amoma, but 5 days before the trip my sister died. So I contacted Amoma, explained the situation and asked them to cancel my reservation. I asked for a refund, but they were very unhelpful and unprofessional and never provided any help. They said there will be issued a refund, but I never received my money back. Tried to contact them many times but still nothing. I am so disappointed. That was really terrible time for me and my family and these thieves made my life even worse!

I have booked a hotel through Amoma for one day in Madina. The payment was deducted from my credit card. I go confirmation from Amoma. I had also a chat with the customer services of Amoma one day before departure and they confirmed my booking. When arrived at hotel and show the confirmation letter, hotel management said, we do not have any reservation for you. Wrote an email to Amoma on same day but no reply received until today. It was very difficult time for me as I was with my family and all of were fasting. I roamed around in all hotels and could found only one room with very high price.
There is no response from Amoma until today. They are big cheaters. They should be banned from doing any booking for customer and their management should be put into jail for cheating customers.
My booking reference was [protected].

Amoma.com never again

I booked a room in a hotel via Amoma website. I paid for the room. When I arrived at the hotel I was told that they did not have a reservation for me. I immediately contacted Amoma customer support. Their rep said that he need to contact a 3rd party supplier first in order to resolve the problem. Later I received a call from them and was told that there was nothing they could do, so I had to find another place to stay. Amoma rep promised that they would refund me as soon as possible. But in the end they never gave my money back and even stopped replying to my messages! I later did some research and found that I was not the only one scammed by this horrible company!

In short, I had a family health emergency where I had to cancel over 24 hours advance. Called there customer service line for current reservations and after 2xs on hold for 15 min first time and 10 min second time...I gave up. Called New Reservation line and got through...get your money, but not support after they already got my $441. The hotel said 24 hr cancellation is one night + penalty...which is very fair. But they refused and kept my money for 3 nights...of which only 1 night goes to the hotel and they pocket the rest of my money. They went through some broker called Miki Travel that refused to work something out. I have been traveling for over 20 years and this is the first experience like this. I WILL NEVER go through a company like this. I trusted them because I found it through KAYAK link.
Sometimes emergencies happen and my company even supports the "family first" but obviously they prefer money first. So BUYER BEWARE.

Amoma.com the worst experience ever!

They placed me on hold for over an hour so literally I had to hang up the phone. These people from Amoma do not care about anything! I wanted to make some changes to my booking, but was told that it is possible only for extra $60. This is an absolute lie! When I tried to reduce the booking from five days to four, they kept telling me they needed to "check with the supplier". Later I received a message from them stating that the room price would go up and that I would have to pay more for four days than for five. Completely ridiculous, it is not even possible! I will never use Amoma service again!

Good day I have made a booking with amoma at Pavillion hotel Durban for 1 November 2019 to 4 November 2019 but we I arrived there I was told my reservation is being canceled and I was left stranded. So my concern now is that how do I get my money back

I have booked, with free cancellation rate but pre-paid, hotel in Intercontinental Abu Dhabi from 9.-12. December 2019. As I received a e-mail telling Amoma.com ceased trading. I contacted the hotel, they answered that AMOMA has cancelled my reservation but taken pre-paid money.
How can we get our money back ?

I had done with Amoma.com for 26th sep 2019 to 2nd October 2019 at Golden sand hotel bur dubai. When we reached the hotel and try to check in with the voucher provided by amoma.com. The hotel informed us that the booking has been canceled by amoma agent. I would like amoma. Com to refund my money 933aed back.
I had a really horrible experience.

We booked a hotel room in Melbourne through Amoma.com. They gave us a confirmation number and took our money. Then when we showed up at the hotel we were informed that the reservation didn't exist - had never existed - and there were no available rooms (and hadn't been for days before we made the reservation).

This is a scam.

There was no mention of cancellation charges at time of booking, but appeared later and then I was charged £100 pounds for cancelling due to illness before Xmas. Amoma is undercutting the hotel's own rate. We will not be honouring any of your bookings and we will be reporting this to the relevant authorities. You do not have the authority to undercut us without even having any sort of agreement with us. We do not endorse or support you. Please immediately cease this practice
