American Red Cross review: Employee ppe - effingham, illinois office

Employees from the St. Louis, MO division were working with employees from the Effingham, IL division. St. Louis employees tested positive for COVID 19. At least one has since died. At the time these units were working together NONE of the Red Cross employees had PPE, except for gloves. A 2nd group from St. Louis was brought in to work with the IL group. This 2nd group had been working with the test positive employees. This group had had face to face contact with COVID positive individuals and no quarantine was mandated. This further exposed the IL employees. Yesterday, the IL group was stationed in a location where school children were picking up free lunches - a group of + 50 people were gathered amidst the collection site. NO social distancing was possible. One woman indicated she was glad the employees were wearing masks (IL received masks yesterday - 03-30-2020) The employee responded they'd just received them that day. The potential donor left. These employees are potentially infection donors.
