May 13, my house backed up with catastrophic Category 3 black water, and I called Wrongful Classification & Arbitrary Cap: Unilaterally labeled a Category 3 sewage backup caused by an AT&T contractor as a "septic failure" to enforce an arbitrary $5,000 payout cap. Pre-Incident / Uninspected Estimate: Adjuster Tylor Lord issued an official repair estimate backdated to May 12—the day before the May 13 sewage backup occurred—without ever visiting or physically inspecting the home. Ignored Expert Proof: Rejected evidence from licensed Master Plumber Shane Robertson, who excavated the pipe, documented the embedded AT&T fiber optic cable, and confirmed it was third-party damage, not a septic failure. Refusal to Inspect & Delays: Adjuster Lord repeatedly canceled scheduled inspections and demanded the homeowner leave the house unlocked and unattended. Delayed remediation approvals forced contractors to stop work, exacerbating biohazardous damage. Flawed Reports & Omissions: TPA field reports deliberately omitted under-house standing sewage. Subsequent estimates included an unaffected bedroom, reduced Category 3 biohazard cleanup to standard "tear out," and relied on unauthorized signature pages. Improper Service: Continuously sent official mail to the uninhabitable loss address instead of the temporary address provided, while failing to answer inquiries regarding Loss of Use, Medical, Coverage, and Dwelling benefits.
