Withdrew funds from my bank account without a policy renewal confirmation
On May 22, 2023, American Integrity withdrew the amount of $1,065.28 for a partial payment of an insurance policy without confirmation of renewal. My husband and I clearly communicated in writing to the insurance broker that we did not want to renew our insurance with American Integrity since this company doubled our insurance after Hurrican Ian. We are waiting to receive our money back.
Desired outcome: We would like to receive our $1,065.28 back.05/22/2023 AMERICAN INTEGRI DES:PREM & PMT ID:1183942 INDN:ANTONIO GOMEZLORENTE A...View/Edit Other Payment -$1,065.28

Since Jan 13th I have been trying to reach my desk adjuster as I have an open case.. Jan 17th sent another email to my desk adjuster as I am told my a tarping vendor that there invoice submitted to them has not been paid.. Jan 28th checks receive in mail by insurance. No letter or email to go with to provide explanation of what checks are for.. I have emailed and left VM’s for desk adjuster that still have not been responded too.. I call today to complain and am told that my desk adjustor
Switched on Jan 19th and there is a record they called me, never left a VM or email or any actual proof they they did actually call me.. worst company ever!
Desired outcome: For them to actually communicate with me.. an actual email letting me know that the adjustor had changed and who to contact.. I return phone call or a Vm
After hurricane IAN they sent a water mitigation company to my house and refuse to pay the $40,000 bill now
On September 30, 2022 I had called American Integerity to report a claim due to flood damage from hurricane Ian. On October 3, 2022 I was contacted by a company named DryMetrics that said they were contacted by American Integerity to do emergency water mitigation, mold remediation and any other type of repair to prevent further damage to my property. I called American Integerity and spoke to Rachael Henager to confirm that they had sent this company and she had confirmed this. Rachael also sent me an email telling me to send all receipts, photos, estimates, invoices and any additional information regarding this claim directly to her. On October 4th DryMetrics came to the house and looked at the water damage and stated that American Integerity has directed them to do the work as said above.
My flood insurance rep came by on 10/7/2022 and stated that we need to cut 2’ up the wall he did his inspections and left.
On 10/11/2022 DryMetrics showed up at the house with a crew of about 20 and proceeded to start to cut my walls open at the 4’ height. I stopped the supervisor and asked why when flood insurance said we need to cut at the 2’ mark. He advised me that American Integerity wanted a 4’ cut due to moisture. I also asked him if he would like me ti hire a granite person to remove my 2” thick matching granite and he said no we do this all the time. The company then proceeded to destroy
my house rendering it unlivable. Over a 2 day period they broke my countertops and backsplash, ripped 80% of my insulation completely out of my walls, removed the moisture barrier, did not haul away the construction debris (they put it all at the curb which is illegal in Port Orange) and left a big mess of everything.
At this time I am also emailing and calling Rachael and not getting any responses but then I receive a call from Banjo Jaiyesimi and he states that he will be my new claims adjuster, and has never done this before and this is new to him. I explain to him what has happened and he said that American Integerity never would have sent out Drymetrics. I had him call Will Gray, owner of Drymetrics, to ask him who had called and sent them. Banjo confirmed that American Integerity had called to dispatch them. He also stated that any damages not related to wind are not covered in my policy. I called my Flood insurance and asked them several questions regarding this and they do not cover any of these damages by the drymetrics contractors because they did not call or hire anyone –they do not do that through a flood insurance.
The actions by Drymetrics has left my home unlivable where we could not afford to pay our mortgage and rent in an apartment. We had to go and purchase a camper to live in. I feel that American Integerity needs to step up and cover the damages left by their contractor that they hired. I do have a HO3 homeowners policy and I feel that our LOSS OF USE should be covered as well as moisture barrier, insulation replacement, MATCHING 2” thick custom granite countertops. I also have Corey Miller from Guided insurance involved in this now and Jennifer Evans Banjo’s manager at American Integertiy.
Desired outcome: They need to pay the contractor's bill

Incompetent handlining of hurricane ian claim
Adjuster Djarra Warnsley and Director Gil Estrada have refused to supply any information on our claim from storm Ian. Phone calls and text messages are not replied to and recording Mailboxes are full. Neighbors houses are already being repaired. This unnecessary delay puts us further behind on the Contractors waiting list. We now have to use our own money in order to have any work done. Their lack of response has created an extreme amount of intensified, undue stress on my Wife and I. There is no excuse for a Company to operate in this matter. Extremely dissatisfied with their lack of service.
Desired outcome: A response, investigation and immediate Action on our claim.
Cancellation of policy #agd113533 - rental house policy
On July 24, 2020, we sold and had the closing on our rental house covered by the policy listed above. We went by the agent's office that day after the closing to take care of the cancellation of the policy. She took the information and told me she would send it in. After several weeks, I checked back with her. On September 2, the agent called again and got the name of an individual to resend the information to. After another long wait, I checked with the agent again. She called and was told that a check had been issued. I was told to wait until the following Monday, and if no check came, I was to let the agent know and she would have them stop payment on that first check. Needless to say, the check did not come for several more days. I contacted the agent and she contacted the company to have a stop payment issued and another check issued. Since the agent is so hard to make contact with on the phone, I called the company on October 12, 2020. The person I talked to at customer service advised that a request for cancellation had not been received, there had never been a check issued, etc. I then sent a letter attaching a copy of the Closing Disclosure on the sale directly to the company. That was October 12. I have tried to call the agent, Harrington Insurance Inc., in Macclenny, Florida and once again I cannot get an answer.
A refund has not come through either.
I would appreciate any assistance to get this matter resolved.
Thank you,
Nelda C Crews

I just got the policy on September 30, 2019. Today (October 23, 2019), I go to make a premium payment and notice a new document posted October 17, 2019. It is a notice of cancellation!. Unless I provide a final roof inspection before November 11, 2019 proving my roof was replaced within the last 15 years they are cancelling my policy. Three things wrong here: 1) my house is only 13 years old; 2) No warning whatsoever from the company or my agent that this would be a prerequisite for insurance; and 3) if I had not opened this document on-line, I would not even know about this (why was this not emailed or snail-mailed to me). Looks like this company is just trying to rake in the money without actually insuring anything!

Over 30 days after Hurricane Irma, still waiting for help.
Very disappointed with American Integrity Insurance Group. Hurricane Irma damaged my roof and my home over one month ago. The day after Irma hit I filed a claim. Over one month later, I am still waiting to get help for coverage that I paid for. Numerous calls and emails go without response. Neighbors with other homeowners insurance already having their claims settled and roofs repaired. Totally unacceptable!
This is my same problem, in fact tried getting hold of them yesterday on hold for over a hour, on hold right now. Had two adjusters come to my home they said first one was fired, second was brought in from Arkansas, was told I was at bottom of list of claims now. So I get penalized for their bad choice of adjusters. Thinking of taking my claim to a attorney also.

American Integrity Insurance is scamming people all over Florida. Clermont, Florida had a large hail and wind storm in July 2015. I own a small 1200 sq ft home. I have 49 areas of damage on my roof due to the hail and wind damage. American Integrity says it is repairable with being patched, and estimated the repairs at $1100.00. They sent me a $100 ck to get it repaired since I have a $1000 deductible. They use a firm called Haag Engineering to help them not cover damages. This firm has had history of helping other Insurance company's, and has been named in law suits because of it. I cannot get anyone to repair the roof, since there are so many areas of damage, and the shingles cannot be matched with color to current roof. I am told I need a new roof due to the damage. My neighborhood for 6 months have had active roof replacements since this storm. Neighbors on both sides of me, behind me, across street and down the street all have had roofs replaced by their insurance companys. All of those were not American Integrity. There are at least 6 homes who have not gotten roofs replaced or repaired, and they have American Integrity. These are just a few that I know in my neighborhood. It is very obvious that this insurance company is not paying out any claims. There are class action suits with this company in other neighborhoods and cities in central Florida. I will have to work with an attorney to get this resolved. In the meantime, I am stuck paying premiums to this company and cannot change to a new company until this issue is resolved. BEWARE! This company is a scam, and if you have this company or are thinking of using this company in the future, you will end up very unhappy if you have to file a claim for damage on your home.
Hi, I have the same issue with American Integrity insurance. My neighbors who sustained damages last January 22 and filed claimed have been approved by their insurance company. Unfortunately, I am with American Integrity and I have been denied despite the fact that my shingles cannot be fixed because it failed the brittle test. If we all can get together, we all can get together and file an action lawsuit against American Integrity. Most homeowners will let it go and enough is enough. They don't mind taking our money but when it comes to assisting us with our needs they fail short. We are not the only one who suffers from American Integrity. Let me know.
Hello,
I filed a claim for the exact same date for a wind storm in East Orlando and they did the exact same thing to me. They claim my roof is repairable and will only cost $600 to fix, even though my neighbors who had less damage got full replacements from their insurance companies. I have already obtained estimates from other contractors who say the roof needs full replacement. I have spoken to a lawyer and am planning on filing a suit. How has to process been for you since June? Have you gotten anywhere?
That is exactly what they said to me too. I have hired a public adjuster who has experience with them and according to my roofer, they have been successful. They are now dealing with American Integrity. Hopefully in the next few weeks, I 'll learn more.
Thank you. Do you have the information for this public adjuster? I have spoken to a lawyer and was planning on filing a lawsuit but I don't know if the adjuster route is better. Any insight you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Do you also live in East Orlando? I am curious if perhaps you are my neighbor since our cases are so similar. I live in Stone Forest off of Alafaya Trl.
I used private adjuster located in Mount Dora (Your Public Adjuster, Inc). So far they have been very responsive and active with regards to my claim. They are working with my roofer to cover troublesome areas as I am having ceiling stains in different parts of the house now. Let me know your progress. Your situation is like mine. Neighbors who filed roof replacement has been approved and I am the only one having to fight for my replacement.
Thank you. My lawyer should be filing the suit either tomorrow or Monday. I'll keep you posted on how it goes.
Same here. First they deny its hail and say it’s Irma from the SI Global report but they won’t show the report to me. Now it’s back to Irma and I just got a new claim adjuster. I will most likely get a lawyer after reading they do this all the time.
I also live in east Orlando. They said it was wind and only 3 tiles were damaged. Houses on both sides got roofs from hail damage. I also have hail damage not wind but they claim it was wind. I’m on my 3rd adjuster with them since different adjusters handle different events. Omg, they got you over a barrel
