AMC Theatres review: Management

My husband and I have been a part of a program called A-list for over 5 years.  A-list is a premium program for more benefits $23.99 a month we pay monthly to amc. Thursday May 21st. My husband and I went to AMC Theatre at Superstition Mesa.

While my husband was getting popcorn I went to fill our cups with water, we were told numerous times by amc employees that we could get water using our Harkin cups. After getting water we were accosted by the manager Elisha.  She told me she wanted to make sure I was NOT stealing soda!  After she knew I had ONLY gotten water she did not apologize.
My husband informed her we’ve been coming to amc for years at least 3 times a week. She walked away mid sentence while my husband were speaking to her.  Before entering our theater my husband asked for her name and she became hostile again. She then told my husband she was calling the police on us for trespassing. And that we had called her a curse word. I called her a liar and my husband and I walked into the theater.

10 minutes later the police arrived in the theatre and asked us to leave!  They told us Elisha informed them to tell us we were banned from that theatre.  This Definitely feels like abuse of power from an amc employee!

We were contacted by someone name Matt via amc app. After the complaint I filed. I was not able to even corporate. Matt said Elisha said We used profane language and was disruptive.   He said we violated AMC code of conduct! I informed him in another email that Elisha was lying, we didn’t do any of those things to her. I informed him that we have been a loyal customer of AMC and not once in over 5 years have we ever had a BAD incident with AMC. I told Matt my husband and I didn’t suddenly want to swear at AMC management and be disruptive after 5 years. I told Matt this issue should be investigated because the situation did NOT HAPPEN the way the Elisha said it did.

I received an email from someone named Shaun an employee of AMC. He said after 6 hours that they investigated. He also said the case is now closed. I asked is there someone else over him I can speak too at AMC. And if the case was actually investigated they would know that Elisha was lying! I no longer received a response. I would Not go through this much trouble if we’re lying. We Don’t want to banned because of some one Flagrant lies!
