I paid extra for the seating because of the "comfort" of a recliner due to me having a bad back. The theater room was packed. I even had to reserve the seating of my son I row in front of me. AMC Theatres Your movie times are wrong, you print tickets half an hour after pay, your time stamp doesn't work.

I had an interesting time today, Saturday, March 25, 2023.

1. I purchased a ticket on line at 12:11 (time the money was taken from AEX)

2. The on line interface did not accept my phone number and did not send me a ticket.

3. At 12:30 I left for the theater to deal with the problem (at 12:38 the ticket was received as you can see in the image below.

4. I was sent to 10th viewing room after I found the ticket at the AMC, and that was in the middle of the movie (it was 1:10). I thought maybe it was at the end so I sat down and watched. The movie ended around 2:30. I had seen over an hour of the movie.

5. I left, stamped made sure to enter my parking ticket into the computer (a visual process I did twice to make sure I got. "The information has already been entered" or something like that.

6. I left, spent a few minutes at Apple and then went to my car to go home.

7. I inserted my parking ticket and got a $5 bill for the two hours I had been there.

So: The computer interface between the theater and the parking system does not work.

The theater does not present movies at published times, or I was sent to the wrong screen.

I had less than a stellar experience.

Desired outcome: The experience cost me $23, 18 for the ticket, 5 for parking.I'd like it back.

AMC Theatres Food poisoning

Dear Sirs,

March 21st after purchasing tickets & food from the food court, I experienced abdominal cramping, cold sweats, vomitig and diarrhea.

I immediately contacted a Manager and advised them the food item I purchased made me ill. When asked what I consumed

I replied the (The Royal Bacon Brie Burger) the two gentlmen I spoke with advised the burger prepared had been deviated slightly

from the description on the menu, and it was immeditley recognized why I got sick.

Desired outcome: Please refund food and tickets since I obviously missed the movie, and compensation for the pain and discomfort I experienced. I would appreciate a response.

AMC Theatres Policy for under 18 on Friday nights

Antonio who represented himself as a manager threatened to kick out three adult teens on a Friday night for a movie that started at 7:45pm The policy clearly states that anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult for any move on Friday night that starts after 8pm. Antonio made them dig through a trash can in the dark to find the ticket stubs for a refund, otherwise he would kick them out without a refund. He was extremely rude, and in clear violation of the company policy. Willow the door clerk was rude and seemed to have an unclear agenda of disrupting the Friday night movie of the teens. AMC needs to educate their staff on their policies and better customer service. Immediately threatening to kick four paying customers out of the theatre without any reason is extremely rude.

Desired outcome: Apology from Antonio and reimbursement for the popcorn and snacks that had been purchased for the movie.

AMC Theatres AMC theaters movie did not start on displayed time

Good morning , my name is Danyale Williams and over the weekend I went to see the latest Creed 3 in AMC theaters . I am normally such a Fan of the AMC experience I became a STUB member over the years and never had a complaint once .

However , Sunday march 5,2023 I went out for date night purchased my tickets with cash at 845pm , waited in the concession lines for my cherry frozen ice and Nachos with cheddar cheese … approached my auditorium and the movie was already playing …

We had about 30 mins spare time before the movie started so we waited in the lobby to pass the time . With our clocks on 915pm we went back to our auditorium to see that the same movie was still in progress .

I left my seat to go back to the front desk to confirm the auditorium. The guy confirmed and said “ it should have been 15 mins of coming attractions.

That was not the case .

We watched the last hour of the movie. Feeling completely lost and out of the loop . The movie ended in a hour despite the total run time of 1.56 hours .

I have very little knowledge of what could have happened . Maybe we were assigned the wrong room ?.

Maybe the movie started early ? I had no idea.

Date nights from the kids are really hard to come by . And it top it off the cheese to my nachos were ice cold including the chips .

Please look into this matter . I will insert photos of my tickets .

AMC Theatres Very dirty movie theater and rude manager

Today, March 5, 2023, I decided to go and see a late movie at the AMC Galewood Crossing. #14. Upon entering the theater, I was shocked to find that the theater was absolutely filty. Upon receiving my pre-ordered food, the smell of the stale food left behind throughout the theater made me feel disgusted. I decided to leave and found the manager and asked for a refund. The manager was very rude and said that I needed my original method of payment or I could get a pass to use later. It was easier to take the pass. Unfortunately, I had not eaten my food as the flatbread was burnt and the manager said I could take it with me. I was irritated and took the pass and left. This was by far some of the the worst service I have ever received. I don't normally attend this theater and was very shocked at the appearance and service. Listed below is the receipt:

AMC Theatres A trailer that was shown before the movie Jesus Revolution

My husband and I went to see the Jesus Revolution on February 26, 2023 in Pompano, FL, and were shocked when one of the trailers before the movie started took God’s name in vain. This is a Christian movie, and should have had trailers for similar movies. I’m not sure who is responsible for choosing the trailers, but we wanted to make you aware of this.

AMC Theatres Unauthorized credit card charges

I am being charged monthly for $26.60 since at least November, four months now, and have never authorized this charge on my credit card ending in xxxx-xxxx-9709. Please terminate this account and these monthly charges immediately and please contact me in regard to this matter at your earliest convenience at [protected].

AMC Theatres Costs

How can you charge $7.00 for a cup to get water? That cost is ridiculous! How can you take advantage of your customers like that? Tickets, food is constantly raising prices and you have no reason to charge so much money for a CUP! I think some serious discussions need to occur on this so you don’t continue to rake us over the coals!

AMC Theatres Methuen MA - disgusting

Just visited the 715pm show at AMC Methuen with wine and kids. Absolutely disgusting, trash, everywhere and overflowing in the barrels
Soda machines, self serve, over pouring with ice, all empty soda choices, barely any available after you paid, so got stuck with some nasty super sugary soda. Ticket prices are up, and the AMC is disgusting and the manager should be suspended, and the AMC corporate should be forced to make their kids and family drink and sit there in that filth. Oh, ya, I did ask for the manager twice, guess who never showed up.

Desired outcome: Force CEO to take his family there!

AMC Theatres Ridiculously loud movie

On Sunday February 5th my wife and I purchased 2 tickets to see Avatar The Way of Water in AMC Fresh Meadows 7. We were excited about the movie as it was our wedding anniversary and 13 years ago it was our first date and Avatar was the first movie we saw together. Once the coming attractions started we realized that the sound in the iMax feature was so loud that we needed to stuff our ears as the sound was so loud it was traumatizing to both of us. I kept my fingers in my ears and my wife tried to use tissue unsuccessfully. We hoped that the movie itself was within normal sound range. I am a professional drummer so I’m familiar with loud sounds but the theatre sounds were unreasonably and unhealthfully loud. After the movie started it was clear that the operator had either left the theatre or checked out as the intensity and loudness forced us to leave the theatre disappointed and vowing never to attend an iMax movie again in an amc theatre. That this was our anniversary made it that much more painful and unfortunate.

Desired outcome: We would at the very least like a refund on our tickets which cost over $50 dollars.

AMC Theatres Too cold in theater

Complaint: freezing cold inside the theater while watching movie
The theatre was freezing cold with the AC on in the theatre, my toes and arms were numb and ached. I don't understand why it was so cold inside because the temperature that day was over 50 degrees outside. Being a Christian, I was really excited to see the movie Left Behind, which only had one showing at 3:30pm. However, it was so cold in the theatre and uncomfortable that I now know why no one goes to the theatre anymore. Very disappointing that I had to sit in a freezing cold theater to watch my movie.

AMC Theatres Maybe you might want to have someone look into this.

Please look into management at this theater. I know that it's hard to get good employees, but this particular AMC seems to have more problems than any of the others I go too. Today they moved us from one theater to another. This has happened many times at this particular site, but they usually seat you in the same seats. This time they didn't change the seats or even let anyone know that the theater had been changed (this could have been done when we walked into the theater as it was not busy at all). It caused a great deal of confusion with people when we got in the theater and there weren't enough seats in a row. We ended up having to move closer to the screen which was really hard for me as I cannot sit close to the screen. I'm not sure why, when we bought the tickets over a week ago, we had to move and then 4 people who bought their tickets yesterday took our spots. Also, when I went to complain, the supervisor just didn't seem to be interested in what was happening. Lastly... my hot dog was cold... I don't mean luke warm, I mean cold.

I am an AMC Stubs member, (not really that big of a deal), and I coordinate a group of ladies to see movies at least twice a month. The group is usually around 8, sometimes 10. I could go somewhere else, but I'd like to keep Puente Hills as it's central to where everyone lives.

Desired outcome: I have heard a lot of complaints about the way things are done here. I really think it's mismanaged.

AMC Theatres AMC Starplex Brunswick Square 13

I went to see Wakanda Forever at 5:30pm at the Brunswick Square theater in NJ and there was a glitch (in the sound) at times throughout the movie. Also, they left the door open which allowed for the hallway light to shine into the small theater which is highly unprofessional and takes away from the movie experience. Well... this will be my last time attending this theater.

AMC Theatres AMC gift card

I have a $50.00 AMC Gift Card. It is valid. I have added to my AMC online account. It shows up, but when clicked upon gives an error.
I tried deleting it and reading it. The webpage won't allow me to do that.
I worked with an AMC online support rep for the better part of an hour. We worked through all kinds of things to get it to work. We were not able to resolve it (this was back in late December 2022.

Kevin of AMC told me: "I have noted this for our IT teams and Gift Cards team can look into this further as we can see the correct balance within your account on our end. Please keep an eye out for any updates to the balances listed on your AMC Stubs account. I will also reach out as soon as I have an update. - Kevin"
I have not heard anything back from Kevin. Further attempts to get this resolved have not went anywhere.

Desired outcome: Would like to have the $50.00 gift card made good.

AMC Theatres Broken recliner & no management to contact

I am writing because our attendance at the AMC dine-in Huntington/in East Northport, NY, has no one to contact about a BROKEN RECLINER and my partner was not able to fully enjoy the movie. We attended on January 15 for AVATAR 3d, a 3 hour movie, in auditorium 9,seats E10 and E9, which one of them did not work at all. Part of the experience of going to the movies includes the recliner feature. more importantly, it is very difficult to contact anyone in person over the phone, because no one answers and there no one returns any calls.There is no management, only 1 usher and a person at the concession. Going to the movies is expensive and our tickets cost $30 for two. I would like A refund, and for someone to fix the chair, as probably other movie goers are experiencing the same problem. AMC Theatres Refund mistake

On Nov. 10 I cancelled tickets to Wakanda Forever [protected]. Your email said the refund went to MC card ending in 3968. This did not happen. On your site the refund was sent to Visa ending 1550. Each refund was for $20 and Visa 1550 doesn't exist. The actual ticket cost was $29.68 Can this be corrected now? I also have another number associated with this purchase [protected]?

AMC Theatres Fraudulent use of credit card.

I signed up for the subscription in January 2022 and immediately canceled it. However, AMC has opted to continue charging my credit card monthly since this time. I will continue to dispute the charges monthly or should I submit a fraudulent submission for AMC? I have never used your service and continue to ponder how you are able to charge me for a service not rendered and a service I canceled. Please help me understand why you don't understand when a customer says cancel, you need to cancel.

Desired outcome: CANCEL THE MEMBERSHIP THAT WAS ASKED TO BE CANCELLED JANUARY 2022. STOP USING CREDIT CARD FRAUDULENTLY.

I’m a resident of the Bronx and I have been going to your Bay Plaza theater for many years. Recently, I have noticed a significant difference in your customer service and the conditions of your facility. Your management team is very unprofessional and the employees at the concession stand are extremely rude. I know that if this was Manhattan/LI, This would not be acceptable. Please get it together because this is not fair to the residents in the Bronx.🤬

AMC Theatres Concession stand, supervisor Kalyan

Greetings!

Very poor customer service received yesterday during our visit to AMC Braintree, MA location at 5pm for movie showing Puss in the boots: The last wish.
I purchased tickets to take my granddaughter who turned 5 years old and had never been to the movies before. It was an exciting time for her.

After being seated at our reserved seats, my granddaughter and I made our way back out to the concession stand to purchase butter popcorn. To our disappointment, the popcorn machine was broken, along with the other upstairs machine.

We requested to have honored the same purchase price of the butter popcorn for the cheddar popcorn and were rudely told “no”. I attempted to ask again since it was not the customers fault both machines in the theater were broken, which in my opinion was the least that could be done. The supervisor who tended to us, Kaylan, was bothered that we interrupted her conversation with another agent and that I was insisting. She also rolled her eyes as I asked.

As a matter of fact, when I first arrived to the concession stand she didn’t bother to acknowle me because she was busy with her conversation and directed me to walk down to the other register for someone else to assist me. I walked over and a second male agent told me someone else would assist me, as he asked a young lady to assist me. She seemed frustrated that the people at the first register (supervisor Kaylan and another agent) didn’t initially assist me, as she looked over to them to see what they were doing. I was finally helped after haven spoken to three people. I would like to add, there was no one else in line waiting.

After all of the frustration and negative experience, I was going to purchase the cheddar popcorn at the full price, but because the supervisor was rude, unprofessional and had no compassion, instead, I walked away not wanting to give additional business to AMC.
Imagine the disappointment to my granddaughter on her first experience on her birthday. Not cool!

I’m hoping you will speak to such employees in order to give customers a good experience and offer some type of compensation for our troubles.

Desired outcome: Non monetary compensation for our troubles.
