I have been now close to 3 months with amateur-match, and all i gotten is messages from their Bots (online-cupids). I replied to a few of then, but surprise, surprise, they never responded, Also the same person said, she lived in Lethbridge, the following day in Saskatoon, then Picture Butte. Perfect waste of money and of time. I am better off, going to PlentyofFish. At least I wont waste my money there

This website is a big scam! Couple of minutes after I signed up, my bank call me to warn me about the scam but I didn't listen. Maybe after some messages from fictional hot gal, I figure out that this is a big scam that has been going on for a while. None of their profile are real. Waste of time, money and energy. It's not worth it. Even if this is 100% free. I will be surprised if anyone ever get laid from that site.

well here is some new info for you all to consider. I registered for MILFhookup and created a profile. within a couple of days I began getting emails to my email address from women(?) claiming they saw my profile on Amatuermatch. Well I never went to that site or registered free or otherwise with them. all of the emails were the same saying they were from Ghana mostly and wanted to commun icate on yahoo messanger. I did go on with one of the women (?) that contacted me to see what was happening. within a very short time the person wanted to share her webcam which was good for me to see(i will tell you why).in the copurse of just 10 minutes she asked for my cell number so she could find out when I was going to be on messanger, I gave her a number and quickly got a few short text messages. She claimed she was using her yahoo messanger to send the text since I was watching her on webcam. she soon forgot about the webcam. I started noticing that she was not typing when I was getting messages and she was typing when I wasn't getting messages. I tried video call and it wasn't answered (twice) she made no refernce to the fact that a call was coming in on her computer and didn't know that I had also began broadcasting my webcam to see if she was receiving anything on her computer. Well it appears that everything was going to another computer and she was able to read the communications but she wasn't getting the other attempts since they were going to the actual computer sending the messages. they put her webcam up as a distraction to the communication. I cancelled all of my profiles on every dating site I was on and let whoever know that I was on to them and they should lose my info and hope they had a lot of luck. I informed them that all my info was being tracked and they would be dealt with accordingly. Maybe they got the message that two can play their games.

I started getting the idea, when I saw girls from Woodruff AZ - total population 25 yet there were 6 profiles on line women and Men and also about the same for McNary, Pinedale, Pinetop, Lakeside, Eagar, Vernon, etc. What a bunch of crap. I don't think any of the girls are real. Some of the photos are pretty hot if yu want to got sole, but it get a date- don't count on. I hae over 50 buddys and have sent out about 200 emails and I am still did not got any! I think they could on the fact that no one will complain.

I wish I had read these ### before I threw my money away. They said $68.00 for three months service, Not only did they charge $69.00 but never got access to the full site I was promised. I [censor]ed moaned groaned and complained. One they did reply and said they don't give refunds and said I contracted to speak with "CUPIDS" - fictional women. Advertised as a date site. Everyone should send letters to their state representatives and lodge a formal complaint. This is FRAUD. How many more people don't get this far to a forum to complain? think about the numbers, could there be a 100, 000 people ort more out there that were riped off or more... This could come inevitably into Millions of dollars stolen out of every pocket. I have turned the matter over my credit card company and contacted the New York State Attorney Generals Office. You should contact your state government too. I read All the letters expressing such dissatisfaction... They did the same thing to all of us. The governments local and Federal should be doing a better job at regulating all the Internet scams on the market.

Thank you for the advice. I am in Australia, and all these emails were coming from Australian women. But when I did a search of people from my area, up 100 miles, there were no members near me. In spite of the emailer's profiles.
I also saw profile pics that I had also seen on Camsecret site. In other words, a paid model on a webporn site. I don't know if it was the same model with a fake Amateur Match profile... or someone just stole the pic.
    Thanks for this excellent service.

This website is a complete scam, DON't send them any money. None of the profiles are real. I avoided them for so long and then I received a buddy request from someone in my city. But the emails were always generic and vague, when I asked her to describe something of our city. The responses stopped. I think people in africa are writing the responses, possibly ghana or nigeria.

amateurmatch is a fake, i worked for the company, the messages you received from "women" are not even sent by the same person, they sent messages to everyone from different profiles, women you see there are not real at all, the people who work for them are located in the 3rd world, they can be men or women it doesn't matter, but any way blame yourself you must be an IDIOT ... there is not woman in the world who would open an account and pay for a membership in that kind of websites, and beautiful women wouldn't be interested in dating with men, like most of men i have seen in the website...come on

AmateurMatch.com is an obvious scam, so don't waste your money. I have filed a complaint to the Attorney General's office, but all they did was send a copy of my complaint letter to the scammers. Instead of investigating these scammers and shutting them down, they did ".NOTHING". What a waste of taxpayer money they are. They should be included in the budget cuts. An obvious scam continues to rip-off unsuspecting people and nothing is done, even with all the complaints.

I have been trying to get my membership fees refunded. The person I talked to, says this is not a dating site, and that somewhere in the contract it states that this is fo entertainment purposes only. I also checked the ballance on my card, only to find an additional charge. If you aren't very careful to define that you don't wish to pay for video chat, then you get automaticly enrolled, and AM collects on you again. There has to be somewhere to complain to about this site. Enough of us applying presure might result in closing this scam down. Anyone have any ideas along that line? Any lawyers out there who might know how we might start a suit against this site? Keep me posted-Robert [email protected]

AmatuerMatch.Com is one big RIPOFF. The site sends you these phony profiles and photos to get you interested in paying for the site. What you need to do is look at the gold seal on the profile.and see if it isn't an OC with a circle around it. If it is, click on the seal and read all about it. The website post these ficitional profiles there to get you, the consumer, interested enough to PAY for access to this PHONY SITE. Then you get computer generated messages from the " LADIES ", but nothing else happens. There are ways to tell if a profile is fake or not without having to look for the OC seal. Use good judgement when buying into THIS site.

I tried this website without any expectations. I am 61 and disabled after a stroke and do not expect much. I am not attracted to explicit crudity. Lots of so called buddy matches! Then the website started asking me to complete my profile, which I had already completed. i know I completed that profile. I became suspicious, thinking this was a crude ruse to get me to to pay them money.
Basically if something is too good to be true then it almost certainly is. Presumable the sex industry is liable to suffer during a period of financial difficulty as it is something one can easily do without. Therefore I am interested to see here that my suspicions appear well grounded. Now I think the best thing to do is to mark all their email as spam, and delete it without reading it.

Several weeks ago I too paid my 60 some dollars and joined. Wrote a really good profile and had leterally 50 - 60 really hot women sending me pictures and messages. However, their spelling was bad as was the context, like a 3rd grader was writing. Then over time the same women's picture would show up but from a different location. So I started asking very specfic questions about capitals of states and small towns they were near. I received back very generic answers. Asked for my money back as appareently I was being scammed. They refused stating I could just cancell my membership after my time expires . They continued sending me pictures and messages. Wrote them again wanting my money back but again they refused and finally cancelled my membership. YOU DO NOT WANT TO GET INVOLVED WITH AMATEURMTCH OR TRU.COM EITHER as it is the same. Is there any legit dating sites besides Match.com??

I signed up for amateur match and within 2 weeks I had over 50 messages from local women wanting to do whatever I wanted. I signed in and did a local search and the only women in my area had not visited the site in over 3 months and not one of the women in the messages came up. This is a total scam and should be forced to put up or shut up.

Well I experienced the same thing ! I was getting so many emails and invitations that I finnally decided to become a paying member. Soon as I paid the emails stopped.. What a surprise right ? LOL. Well It's time to make them pay now. someone is getting rich living their life on some beach somewhere . I am sure with the millions of $$$ they made they think they can buy some lawyer to get away with this. Well I am going to test them now. Let's see just what happens. Not only is this site a fraud but they have also gotten people's personal info and not to mention pictures anyone has uploaded.. This is very serious and should not be written off as just a simple case of refunds. damages should be paid to everyone they scammed. Wonder if this can include identity theft ?

Amateur Match is 100% ripoff. Same thing as others say, all kind of mail, promises and then you pay and they are gone. The SOB running this site needs to be hung from a pole in the square of his home town and flogged by anyone passing by. This is ridiculous to scam people this way. The jail sentence should be a minimum of 25 years and not more than 100. This would put a stop to these [censor] on the net.

Just noticed this "OC" in the upper right hand corner of a profile. I've never noticed it before, but saw somebody talking about it in a post above. It's a link, you can click on it and it brings you to the "terms and agreements" section, stating that these people are ficticious. Here's a copy from the agreement.

I am glad I hadn't paid anything to AmateurMatch, com -- I brought up my hotlist this morning and found all the babes listed twice. The hot blonde I thought was living a couple of miles from me is also listed as living 100 miles away. I live in Southern California, and some that I thought were 5 miles from me were also shown as being in San Francisco, San Jose and Sacramento. I don't believe it. It looks like they are recycling pics and profiles and posting them as if they are living within 10 miles of you. It is an obvious scam. Do NOT send them any money!!

Amateur Match has massive amount of OC women/bots not sure what they are.. but I know they're one hell of a downer when you read a message with a very good looking woman and then check the profile only to see an "OC" mark in the upper right hand corner. Another thing that I've noted is the large number of scammers that are roaming around AM trying to meet off site and get your personal info. AM does have real women on the site, but not enough to be worth your time, skip the site and either go out and meet women or try another site.

@Desey The problem with those "free" sites is that there is little to no regulation of the profiles. At least with a pay-site they make sure the people on there aren't trying to either get you to sign up on a different site or that they are from Russia trying to get to the States and need money. From my experience, those free dating sites are much less trust-worthy.

If you want a good dating site, that is totally free, try okcupid.com, plentyoffish.com, or bookofmatches.com. But be warned, the ratio of men to women on these sites are 8 to 1, so the competition is fierce and the women can afford to be picky.

These are criminal vultures who have apparently paid a bunch of skanks drug money to sell their pictures to these criminals. HOW IN THE HELL DOES THE BBB OR SOMEONE NOT PUT THESE CRIMINALS IN PRISON????? It must be a crime to blatently mislead someone into the FAKE promise of meeting these women. I hope they all burn in HELL! Its not the sixty bucks I wasted, its the priciple! To PREY on my lonliness and vulnerability like that was the worst I have ever been violated.
