DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM. They charged me a nonrefundable $995. The attorney that worked on my case sent out a demand letter and then proceeded to tell me that the $995 was gone and that I needed to pay out more money. They have been sitting on my case for 8 months. They do not answer the phone, they do not answer email. They ignore you. I haven't heard from anyone at this firm in over a month and I left messages and call almost every day. They do not work and they will not work on your case. They steal your money and then ignore you. If you do happen to get through to them. They will tell you they are going to look into it and work on it but then you don't hear from them for another two months. They like to tell me that "litigation takes time" but in reality, they aren't working on anything. I had my lawyer call me screaming at me because I tried to complain about her.

Questionable Law Firm Alex R Hernandez JR: How you can avoid falling victim to a growing problem with this law firm SCAMMING People out of money when thy have no intention on working on your behalf they just want your money.

Its difficult to work alongside this company, to get refunds, to get work, or to get the services that were promised from this company,” this law firm has a substandard business practice or a model,” the only thing they do is waste your time and lie to people who come to them for help and when you file a consumer complaint then they will have April Busbee to reach out to you to offer your a refund , if you in good faith remove your complaint and once you hold up your part and remove the complaint she stop answering the phone/email/text messages and NO refund. I did my due diligence and research this Law office, and reading the reviews and now I think they paid people to write the five star review. From what I have learned from all of this is don’t be fooled by the five star reviews you read on be half on this law firm and whenever someone call you from the law, firms, stating that they want to help you resolve your issue and refund you your money back don’t do it they are not trustworthy that’s how I was fooled.

And if you look up a company and you cannot find any negative reviews, or you can’t find out any reviews or just five star reviews on the company, then your best bet is to not go forward with the company.

I am honestly looking up how to file a grievance complaint with the state bar against this law firm. Because all of you should be disbarred for the fraud you are perpetuating against people.

And the Better Business Bureau should warns consumers of the scam of Alex R Hernandez, Jr and not hide the complaints on their website because that’s the first place a person looks to get information on a company that they want to do business with.

Hired then signed second retainer of 2700 they forgot to mention my lawyer quit as he wasn't getting paid. Told them wanted my retainer refunded as no work done on my case since lawyer quit. Will not return calls txt or emails. Took 2 months to get stop representation letter. Still have not received my file , my refund or statement of billing for first retainer has been 3 months now.Scam people

My case Started back in July of 2022 and concluded Oct. 12th of 2022. I decided to end my case because of the lack of professionalism from this firm and being charged for things I shouldn't have been charged for. Now that my case has concluded and I am owed money back from them, they will not refund whats due to me. I have sent several emails and made several calls to their billing department. They have not responded to any of them.

Alex Hernandez Law if a TOTAL CON and nothing less. When I inquired of their services I got the everyday response first, but then almost immediately got a follow-up email saying he had just read what I had written and offering me a contract to sign.

Thinking they liked my case I signed the contract and sent the retainer of almost $1,000. Only to have my initial FREE consultation cancelled when the attorney assigned to my case did not call at the scheduled time. I then got a message from someone named Dale, presumably one of Alex's partners? Asking if the attorney had called me when he was supposed to. No, I said and was promised another call.

That attorney drug things out for a couple weeks. Still no FREE consultation. Then he called to say he was off the case, but don't call the office, they would call me to set up something new. The new attorney finally contacted me a week later only to start the same process all over again. Until I got her call but she said we had a bad connection, so we would have to make the call another time.

In between this she informed me she couldn't call because she was in several days of mediation training! Then it was something else, and finally... We asked for a full refund. But the contract said it was non-refundable, but we said yea, but you didn't even give us the obligatory FREE consultation after 6-weeks.

Be careful dear souls, when you're vulnerable to CON SCHEMES like this. The agency is apparently loaded with young talent who don't know [censored], but are learning the craft of law. I don't think this guy has any staff that have any intention of working a case in any kind of reasonable timeframe.

We were smart enough to get out before they started charging us more money for more no services rendered. This guy should be prosecuted from the reviews I now see, that I wish I had seen before. Spread the word Alex Hernandez is a con.

I hired Alex Hernandez early 2019. Paid a retainer fee of 1995.00 for property litigation. Now over $13,000, about 14 different Attorneys and 3 years later. My case haven’t even made it to the courts. Made several attempts with the office only to receive promises of a new Attorney or now return calls.

My Son hired Alex Hernandez Law Firm for visitation and custody issues and gave a retainer of $1995 and now over $4000 and 2 years later and still nothing has been done on his case. During the free consultation they are so nice and get your hopes up but after that you hardly ever hear from the attorney assigned your case and they don't listen to your concerns at all. During the 2 years, my sons case was passed to 3 different attorneys in the law firm and none of them knew anything about his case and everything had to be resent. Motions were made but never submitted to the courts, he was charged for every phone call and email even when the emails were from person to person inside the law firm. They send updated bills every few weeks to keep your money in a "queue" and then threaten to drop you as a client when you don't pay these bills on time even though you still have your original amount in queue. I would definately not recommend this law firm, they do not do what they say they will, and they do not take your case serious at all.

I gave a retainer $975 to handle a legal problem involving my insurance company and diminished value on my vehicle. Alex R. Hernandez Jr. Law Firm should have known that in the State of Texas you cannot sue for Diminished Value of a vehicle if the insurance company repairs your vehicle. They never stated any of this to me prior to taking $3225.00 of my money. I made two payments to them $975.00 for the initial consultation and another $2250.00 for the ongoing process to sue the insurance company. After all payments had been made, I receive a notice from Alex R. Hernandez stating that they could not pursue my case due to the laws in Texas not allowing you to sue for Diminished Value for a repaired vehicle.

You would think that this law firm would have known that on the front side of the process. I asked multiple times for return calls and a return refund of my $2250.00 since the law firm never represented me and we never even started arbitrations. I received a call from a Sr. Attorney John who was extremely rude and nonprofessional, and he finally stated I would receive a refund. I waited 60 days and never received a refund for the $2250.00. I then received a call from a Pamela at [protected] who told me to protest the charge on my credit card since the payment was made via credit card and I would get a refund. That was a joke in is self. I have left well over 10 messages with 1 returned phone call via voice mail and tried to call back and never had any luck reaching Pamela.

Good Luck on getting refunds from no representation or anything that this law firm does. They do not represent the clients for the clients’ best interest. It is more about them getting their money and leaving you out to dry.

I am in the process of pursuing this now at the Texas Attorney General Level and the Texas Bar Association Level for more processes against this Law Firm. I feel that this law firm has failed me to act with ordinary prudence and has caused suffers in misrepresentation for profitability of a case they should have never taken. This is considered legal malpractice.

Obviously, I was deceived when it came to their intentions. Being baited and switched is a practice that Alex R. Hernandez Jr. Law Firm is good at.

Please save your money and don't end up being conned — as it seems I obviously have. Alex R. Hernandez Jr. Law Firm is pulling a SCAM. Hopefully my warning will save someone from becoming their next victim.

I gave Alex R. Hernandez Jr. Law Firm $975 (as a retainer's fee) to handle land my deceased mother have in Texas. There is an oil and gas company (on the land) who been cheating me and my siblings for years! They refuse to answer our questions, and give us peanuts whenever they want to in royalty payments. They assigned to my case an attorney named Melissa Simpson - who did NOTHING for more than three months, despite the fact I gave her documentations she requested! The fact she REFUSED to answer my questions and was very evasive, I knew, then, something wasn't right. So, I requested they refund my money back... they claimed my retainer's fee was NON-REFUNDABLE, despite the fact they haven't presented ANY evidence they did anything! I been constantly e-mailing them for WEEKS, now! I even gave them my routing and account information - after THEY requested it (leaving me with the impression they was going to refund my money). It's been almost two weeks, and I'm still waiting. Please don't make the mistake I did... AVOID contacting Alex R. Hernandez Jr. Law Firm — if you don't care to get SCAMMED!

I have been patient for 5 months. I am still waiting on my retainer fee of $3000.00. Melissa Simpson told me a month ago my issue will be resolve.

If I don’t have my retainer fee refunded by the end of this week, I will go to Fox News exploit this company and retain an attorney to see what are my options.

I have every email from the attorney’s that say they worked my case

This is untrue they missed my court date and the judge told me there was no attorney on my file.

The Law Offices of Alex Hernandez Jr. took my case and they make you prepay and then you can't reach them and your time sensitive case languishes. I had to reach out to opposing counsel who hadn't heard from them either. I had no option but to fire them and ask for my money back, I then got an immediate response asking me not to leave, and they still haven't returned my money. I have since been in contact with numerous others that are going through the same thing. It is a scam operation in my opinion!

My wife signed up with Alex R. Hernandez, Jr. to represent her in a matter regarding child support. There has been no activity and no communication from the lawyer for over two months. She called several times to request an update on her case. She was told multiple times that the lawyer assigned to her case would call her back. For some reason the phone call would always happen at 3 pm the next day. So far that phone call has never happened. Today I called to complain and request a refund of our retainer. I was told that a member of their dispute resolution team would call me tomorrow at 3 in the afternoon.

This Is A [censored] firm They Took my retainer fee of $1950 this [censored] is a goofy and I been going with this since July 2021 and after I paid my fee as they ask I haven't heard nothing from none of these lawyers I heard one things to my suppose to be lawyer name Austin Hasley I sent him all my Documents to his email Nothing I been calling but you can never talk to a lawyer about none of the problems all theY have is Chat Operation and Message people for the phone which are scripted and don't know [censored] I been asking for this Dallas Location for Months that they supposed to have but they give me and 817 number with a Dallas Address that don't exist I advise anyone not to even try to do no business with this firm it's a scam and I believe somebody are acting on the behalf of this firm meaning they have stolen all the information and the letter head and so on I get the print of the proposal and some is black and some letter are blue where it shows something was edited an placed in them places DONT SAY I DIDNT WARN YOU
