I am deeply disgusted & sadden by the product quality I received. Me & my partner bought a double bed from Akhona in Alberton city along with other furniture that amounted to a purchase of a r10 000 cash sale on the 22 July 2022 .Then goods were delivered I immediately saw that the couches were lumpy & I phoned them to advise them that this is not what I saw in the shop they picked it up & it was fixed no problem. Now it is the bamboo bed that is starting to sink it's not even a year old , was told it's a 2 year warranty,ok May 2023 I phoned them to advise them about the bed . It gets picked up ,was stuffed up it's all good. Then we started noticing a stench,but was not sure where it's coming from,as my daughter only comes to visit weekends & not every weekend . Now we in October 2023 the beds stench got worse & I phone them to tell them somewhere something is wrong bcos as the mattress is sinking again this smell is getting worse & worse . Now I'm told the bed is no longer under warranty. It is evidently clear that this bed was stuffed with smelly dirty sponge,that was mixed with other sponge when it went back to the factory to get stuffed up . I would have understood if something was spilt on this bed by us,but nothing of the sort happened, bcos I don't not condone drinking or eating in bed . I don't think I will ever purchase anything from Akhona ever again it has been a super bad experience I swear to God .
