I saw an advertisement on thee home mag so i decided to call Air-Care Solutions and schedule an appointment so they could perform thee advertised $59 A/C Tune Up, i scheduled thee appointment for Monday August 10the between 10AM and 2PM, on thee day of thee techs showed up on time at 10:40AM, there were two people, one apparently was a junior tech and thee other gentleman was thee "supervisor", they came in and i took them directly to thee handler where he proceeded to cut a huge hole into thee main duct to show me that i had dust without even asking me, after that he continued to take thee panels off of thee handler and then he showed that my drain was clogged and that thee coil was very saturated withe dust and i should have it cleaned, all that i already knew so i agreed to thee service which was quoted to me at $245+, i accepted thee charges and they started thee work and that's when things started to look very unnerving, when they used thee torch to detach thee copper pipes they made my smoke detector go off twice and did nothing about it, i would think that a true tech should come prepared and ready to cover any detectors. After thee whole smoke detector going off thee managed to get thee core out and they took it outside and laid it on thee grass and dirt and sprayed it down withe what they called "acid" (which was just your run of thee mill foaming A/C coil cleaner which they kept in a ground-up weed killer pump bottle. After thee spraying he then removed thee goo and debris from thee coil fins withe a stick he took from thee floor... Who does that? When they finished cleaning thee coil they then moved thee core back into thee house and managed to spill water all over my kitchen floor and not even have thee decency to clean up after themselves, once they had thee core back in thee handler he proceeded to solder thee copper tubes which caused my smoke alarm to go off again, they gathered my CC info and left. At this point my kitchen floor and thee room they were working in was a complete disaster and i had to clean up everything. Its been a week now and my A/C seems to be cooling less and less and it all started after thee day they completed thee job. I called thee company today to complain that since thee service my A/C has been working a lot less efficiently, at that point thee lady on thee phone told me that her supervisor was not in and that they would call me back tomorrow (i highly doubt it). If i do not get a phone call back and my A/C unit is not restored to how it was before i will have to seek legal advice. These people advertise a great deal but when they arrive to your house they sell you all thee services that have to offer and then leave your house a complete mess withe a non working A/C unit. Consumers be aware that this company deals in bad business.
