AIR CON SERVICING

The first time they came, they claimed something was wrong and I was charged a big sum.

This time they came they claimed another thing was wrong again, I didn't believe in them due to previous experience. My aircon unit was all doing well, till they came for washing and I didn't pay extra for their pro claim problem. My aircon was all down. Previously before they came was all fine. The first time I listened to them, despite I didn't feel anything wrong, I paid a big sum hence my aircon was well. This time I didn't pay more and my aircon Unit was all down. Hi All, I had signed contract with tech v air con for few sevices. There service standard is very disappointed and their sales support team - over the phone support lady was very very rude. She also asked me to terminate the contract as I was requesting report of service which they did over email so that I can send to my landowner. But they never send me and said ask landowner to get landowner air contractor for inspection. They refused to me send me service report as their techinicn just waste time rather checking what's an issue . They always come late and I don't think they really do anything just clean aircon from outside.
When u hire Professinal company for service they should tell what is issue and why air con is not cooking . But this company and their technician are always clueless and not knowledgeable .
I complained and the lady receiptionsit says we will not give report and You can terminate. This is day time thief company and urge people to avoid hiring them.
Very bad service and they will not solve or analyse issue rather ask to hire company like daikin etc to solve problem and also will aks to inform owner to send his contractor.
They are reallu arrogant people and I will surely not renew my contract with them and will alos complaint to consume forum .
I want to inform here that they are better service providers in sinhapore so try to avoid this company

In Jan 2017, I engaged a reputable air-con contractor to install a new set of Mitsubishi split air-conditioners for my living room and two bedrooms. In addition, I have an existing air-con maintenance contract with Tech-V Air Cool Engineering to service the air-cons on a quarterly frequency.

I have been using Tech-V for a few years already and because each maintenance team (usually 2 technicians of foreign nationalities) has different level of skills and work attitude, my overall satisfaction have ranged from highly satisfied to highly dissatisfied.

On 17 March 2017, a team came to service the air-con. About a month later, I wanted to remove the filtering nets of the indoor units for routine cleaning and was shocked to see that some parts of the evaporator coils were dented. That happened in all the three indoor units. I took some photos (see examples attached) of the damaged evaporator coils in case I wanted to make a complaint. However, I decided not to lodge a complaint then hoping that it might just be a one-off incident.

And again after another team came to service the air-cons on 6 July 2017, to my horror, there were new dents on other parts of the evaporator coils. Now I understand why all the evaporator coils were badly dented in my old air-cons which were serviced by Tech-V.

For the remaining period of the servicing contract, I will inform the technicians not to touch the evaporator coils to prevent further damage. Can you imagine spending over $5, 000 earlier this year for the new air-cons and new piping only to have the Tech-V technicians damage the evaporator coils?

I will not renew the contract with Tech-V again when it expires.

Recently, a team from Tech-V Air Cool Engineering came to service our air con as part of a yearly contract. Before the servicing, my living room FCU horizontal air swing motor was working fine. But after the serving, the swing motor no longer worked. When contacted, they simply said it was due to wear and tear.

They didn't do anything to fix it as the problem had also occurred before in previous servicing but each time they were able to fix it. Neither do they suggest to bring in a new one in the next servicing as I would have no issues to pay for a replacement.

Their Sales department who corresponded with me via email was arrogant and they did not even sign off with a name, just simply the name of the company.

Also, sometimes their servicing teams would be late for the appointment up to an hour, but knowing that they would be late, they did not bother to call to inform us even though they have our contact number.

Obviously, we will not be renewing our yearly contract with Tech-V Air Cool Engineering again. For others who are evaluating air con servicing contractors, please beware.
