They will charge you to return products that don't work
I bought a coat and matching rain boots from Acorn and the rain boots were impossible to pull on because the opening was too tight. I discovered that they will charge you to return or exchange an item, even if the item is unusable. I would have tried the next size up, but then they would have charged me twice for returns if the next size up didn't work either. Their customer representative said, "We sent what you ordered. It's not our fault if it doesn't fit."
Recommendation: Beware of buying from this company.

So, I wanted to get some new clothes and found Acornonline.com. I picked a top I liked and, like always, I picked my usual medium size. But, when it arrived, it was way too big! It was more like an extra-large! I was bummed out because I was looking forward to wearing it.
I decided to return it, but that's when things got even worse. Customer Service said they couldn't give me free shipping back, even though it was their mistake! I had to pay $20.00 just to try on an item that was supposed to be a medium size.
Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with Acorn. The top itself seems to be good quality, but it's not worth the hassle and extra cost of trying to return it.

Acorn Online Review: Unique Items, Disappointing Experience
I gotta say, I had high hopes for Acorn's website (acornonline.com) and all their unique items that supposedly can't be found anywhere else, but man, was I let down. And it's not just one issue, it's a laundry list of problems I have with this company.
First off, the quality of their T-shirts is seriously lacking. I mean, they were so wide it was like trying to wear a hot air balloon. Not to mention the fact that half the time the colors aren't even the same as what's shown on the website. And here's the kicker: out of the 12 items I ordered this year, FIVE had to be returned. That's almost half, people.
Now, let's talk about shipping. I don't know what kind of shenanigans they've got going on in their warehouse, but I've received damaged products more than once. And don't even get me started on that $200 stained glass hanging I ordered. It was supposed to be this beautiful piece of artwork, but it showed up in a damaged box (see pic) and the colors were totally off. Not to mention the fact that it was nowhere near the quality I expected for that kind of dough.
And don't even get me started on the returns process. Not only do you have to use their fancy-pants "SmartLabel" (which costs $11.95, mind you), but the whole process takes FOREVER. I'm talking glacier slow, folks. It took 24 days for me to get my credit. Who has time for that?
Overall, I'm just really disappointed in Acorn. I want to love them, I really do. But until they step up their game in the quality control and shipping departments, I just can't recommend them to anyone.
