Valassis keeps throwing their garbage on my lawn, and it's a real problem. Animals tear it apart, and then there's even more trash everywhere. A fox even died from suffocating on the plastic they use to deliver their junk. I tried to opt out of their deliveries online months ago, but it didn't work. If they keep this up, I'm going to have to take legal action.

Valassis owns a company called Vericast, which may have renamed Red Plum to "save". I tried to opt out of Red Plum months ago, but Valassis/Vericast/RedPlum/save still sends me mail. When I called their 800 number, I was routed through 3 automated prompts that all say the same thing. They told me to go to ***.com to stop receiving mailings, but that didn't work. The mailer uses something that is not an address, so I have no way of knowing if I successfully opted out. No post office employee will know not to put this garbage in my mailbox. I just want confirmation that mailings stopped.
