Ace Hardware Ace Rewards system

Over the course of 1 or 2 years I had used Ace Hardware's online site to purchase between $75k and $100k worth of items. As a member in their Ace Rewards system, this generated a high amount of Ace Rewards credit to use in stores or online. When Ace Hardware noticed how much credit I was generating, they closed my rewards account and told me I was no longer able to have an account with Ace.

Can provide email correspondence with corporate.

Ace Hardware Craftsman trimmer

I purchased a trimmer on 7/20/23 and used it one time. I pulled it out yesterday 8/17/23 and the priming bulb will not return from a compressed position, making it impossible to start the trimmer. I contacted te Ace where I purchased the trimmer and they told me it could not be returned/exchanged because it was used. My only recourse would be to contact Cradtsman tand pay to get it repaired.

This is a trimmer I have had for only a few weeks and only used once.

I am very displeased with the fact that I could have returned or exchanged this item without any issues at any other larger home improvement store.

Ace Hardware cust retuirn staff

I went into your Chico ca store and was returning 2 items brass fitting and a ranger gas valve the commercial sales lady there accused me of trying to rip you guys off and lied to me she said they dont sell this brand in which i walked right over to the isle her in tow pulled it off the shelf exact same item same spoy same package and she still tells me that this is not there brand so your telling me im lying i have the receipt i pulled the item for her keep in mind i had an appointment i was going to be late for and explained this in the beginning then in the end this lady laora tells me i need to stand in line again so in the end i called the store manager and was told basically oh well . on the back of all your receipts it says hassle free return well it was not hassle free it was embarrassing humiliatingly and honestly i wont be shopping with ace any longer

Ace Hardware Grout Sensation

You advised your stores that the Company that sells Grout sensation closed their warehouse and is no longer selling that product. That is not true! They are very much still in business and the product is still available directly through them. It is a big seller and they need to know that they can still get it! It really is wrong to mislead your stores about a product that sells so well for them. You need to let them know they can still order directly through the company...USA Chemical Corp!

Ace Hardware B-hyve sprinkler controller

Last April I bought a B-Hyve sprinkler controller made by Orbit from the Ace Hardware store in Littleton, CO for $100. 2 months later it stopped working. I spent 4 days trying to contact Orbit to get a replacement. No one answered the phone. They do not have an email address. The live technical support is no longer available. Chat requests went unanswered. I finally gave up and took the controller back to the Ace Hardware store and requested a replacement or refund. They refused since the time limit (30 days) had expired. After 5 minutes of trying to explain my problem to the store manager, I gave up and went to Home Depot to buy another one, something I should have done in the first place. Obviously, I will never go back to another Ace Hardware store.

Desired outcome: Refund of original purchase price.

Ace Hardware Disappointing Experience at Ace Hardware: Rusty Paint, No Apology, and Low Quality Paint

I went to Ace Hardware (acehardware.com) looking for some Sherwin Williams paint. I was disappointed to find out that they didn't sell it. It was Sunday and I wasn't sure if any other stores were open, so I decided to see if they could make any of the colors I wanted. The paint representative told me that they could make any of the Sherwin Williams colors, but when I told him what I wanted, he said they couldn't make that one.

I ended up buying a can of paint for $72, but when I got home and opened it, I realized that it was rusted as if it had been outside for 10 years. I was really frustrated because I had everything ready to paint, but I couldn't use the paint I had just bought. I had to spend part of my day off work going back to the store to get a new can.

When I got to the store, I was disappointed to find out that the manager or the paint representative didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. They just offered me a replacement can of paint. Unfortunately, they were out of the upgraded bathroom paint that I had originally bought, so I had to downgrade to a lower quality paint. Again, there was no verbal apology for the inconvenience.

When I finally got home and started painting, I realized that the paint was a huge clump that could not be stirred. I had to use three coats of the low quality paint to get decent coverage. Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience at Ace Hardware. I wish they had been more helpful and apologetic about the issues I had with the paint.

Ace Hardware Ace Hardware's Lack of Availability and Customer Service: A Frustrating Experience

I recently had an experience with Ace Hardware that left me feeling quite frustrated. I had ordered a shed online, and was given an estimated delivery date for me to pick it up at the store. However, about four days later, I received an email saying that my order had been cancelled. I was confused and disappointed, as the email didn't specify why it had been cancelled.

I decided to call Ace Hardware's customer service to find out what had happened. The representative I spoke to told me that my order had been cancelled because the shed was unavailable. I asked if it would be available if it was delivered to me, and he said yes. I then asked him to order it for me, but he said no - I had to reorder online.

I was frustrated by this response, as I felt that Ace Hardware should have done everything they could to help me out and sell me the shed I wanted. I sent an email to their customer service team, letting them know that they shouldn't advertise something if it wasn't available. However, it's been 2-3 weeks since I sent that email, and I have yet to hear anything back from them.

This experience has been particularly frustrating for me, as my family and I had been looking forward to setting up our outdoor shed. We had prepared for it and were excited about it, only to be let down by Ace Hardware's lack of availability and customer service. As a result, I have decided that I will never order from Ace Hardware again.

Overall, I think that Ace Hardware needs to do a better job of communicating with their customers and ensuring that the products they advertise are actually available. Additionally, their customer service team should be more helpful and willing to go the extra mile to help customers get what they need. Ace Hardware Disappointing Experience with Ace Hardware's Online Order and Customer Service

I recently had an experience with Ace Hardware that left me feeling quite frustrated. I had ordered a storm door from their website and for 9 whole days, the status of my order kept showing that it had been located in their warehouse and was waiting to be shipped. I was eagerly waiting for my order to arrive, but then out of nowhere, I received an email saying that my order had been cancelled. I was taken aback and confused as to why this had happened.

I decided to call their customer service to find out what was going on. However, their phone system was terrible and I had to wait for a long time before I could talk to a representative. When I finally got through, the customer rep left me on hold for a few minutes before telling me that I had placed a "regular order" on Ace.com and that I needed to go into the store and place a "special order" because they didn't have the storm door I wanted at their regular warehouse. Apparently, this was because of the region I was ordering from, but they did have it at their special warehouse.

I was quite disappointed with this response as I had ordered from Ace.com after trying to get a storm door at my local store and being told that they didn't carry them. It felt like they were sending me back to where I originally tried to buy the door from. I felt like Ace Hardware needed to sort out their supply chain and make it easier for customers to get what they need.

In the end, I decided to buy from someone else. While I appreciate the effort that Ace Hardware put in to try and help me, I don't think I'll be choosing them as my first choice in the future. I hope that they can improve their supply chain and make it easier for customers to get what they need.

Ace Hardware Poor Service and Dishonesty at Ace Hardware in Tannersville, PA

I recently had an experience with Ace Hardware in Tannersville on 611 in Pennsylvania. My wife brought my lawnmower to them and they told her that it was no good and that they would discard it for her. I was surprised by this because I had just bought the lawnmower and had only used it once. I had left the gas in it over the winter, which I later learned was not a good idea.

I decided to do some research and found a helpful video on YouTube that explained how to kick over a mower with gas left in over the winter. I purchased some carb cleaner and sea foam and was able to get the mower working again with just 10 pulls. I let it run for 10 minutes and then cut my lawn.

I was disappointed with the service I received from Ace Hardware. I don't think it was right for them to tell my wife that the lawnmower was no good and offer to discard it for her. It was my property and I wanted to try and fix it myself. I also didn't appreciate the fact that they required a deposit from me before attempting to steal my lawnmower from my wife.

Overall, I would not recommend going to Ace Hardware in Tannersville on 611 in Pennsylvania. They seem to be dishonest and not very helpful. Men, don't send your wives there because they may try to take advantage of them and steal your equipment. I wish I could give them 0 stars for their poor service.

Ace Hardware Disappointing Experience with Ace Hardware: Poor Quality and High Cost

I recently had a six day job done by Ace Hardware and I have to say, I am not impressed. My house walls still have holes, old paint residue, and some places and spots without new paint even after they were done. To make matters worse, they charged me a fortune at a very high hourly rate.

At first, they gave me an initial estimate that was much lower than others, which made me feel like I was getting a good deal. However, they started luring me day by day and promising that everything would be fixed the second day. I ended up paying more than double all other estimates.

To add insult to injury, they didn't even sand the patches they did on the walls because they don't have a sanding machine and they didn't rent one. Now, I am left with bigger patches to fix. My biggest mistake was not asking them to leave on the first day.

I felt something was wrong when they told me they were renting a pressure wash machine from another company. I kept following up and being dragged by their promises as they are a reputable company. However, this expensive lesson learned from this experience is to follow your initial instinct and impression.

I have to say that the guy worked hard to do the best he could with the limited resources he was given. But, I will never hire this company again. It's just not worth the hassle and the money.

Ace Hardware Disappointed with Ace's Return Policy and Customer Service

I gotta say, I'm a big fan of Ace stores. I go to all the ones in my area, and I usually have a pretty good experience. But this time, I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed. I ordered some chair bumpers online, and when I went to pick them up at the store, they were too big. No big deal, right? I'll just return them and get the right size. But when I went to a different Ace store a few miles away, they wouldn't take them back. They said something about the paperwork not being right, or something like that. I don't know, it was all pretty confusing.

So now I have to drive all the way back to the other store (which is closed now, by the way) just to return these stupid chair bumpers. And they only cost like eight bucks! It's not like I'm returning a car or something. It just seems like a huge hassle to have to make two trips for something so small.

Honestly, I think Ace should do a better job of letting customers know that items can only be returned to the store where they were purchased. I mean, all the stores carry the same stuff, and the packages were unopened and had all the right numbers on them. It's not like I was trying to return something weird or anything. And I was even trying to return them the same day!

The worst part was the customer service. Nobody really seemed to care that I was having a problem. They just kind of shrugged and said "sorry." I mean, come on, guys. You could at least try to help me out a little bit.

Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience at Ace this time around. I'll probably still shop there, because I like the stores and the products they carry. But I'll definitely be more careful about what I order online, and I'll make sure to double-check the return policy before I buy anything.

Ace Hardware Ace Hardware's Website Needs a Serious Upgrade: A Frustrated Customer's Review

Ace Hardware's website is just plain terrible compared to their competitors. It's not user-friendly, the search function is a joke, and it doesn't even bring up the product I'm looking for (a specific type of paint). Seriously, it's 2023, why are companies still making complicated websites that are slow and hard to navigate? It's like they're stuck in the past or something.

Listen up, Ace and all you other businesses out there: people want a website that's simple, easy to use, and smartphone-friendly. Nobody wants to deal with multiple subpages and slow loading times. And let's be real, who even uses desktops anymore? Everyone is on their smartphones these days, so make your website efficient and tailored to mobile devices. It's not rocket science.

I'm in the middle of a major home remodel and I have a pretty hefty budget, but Ace just lost my business because of their garbage website. I'll gladly drive further to a competitor if it means I can quickly find what I need on their more efficient website. Come on, Ace, get with the times and make your website user-friendly. It's not that hard.

Ace Hardware Terrible Experience with Ace Hardware: Lost Package and Poor Customer Service

I had a really bad experience with Ace Hardware. I ordered a package from their website, but it never arrived. I was really frustrated, so I called their customer support line. Unfortunately, I was put on hold for a long time and then hung up on after waiting for 10 minutes. When I finally got through to someone, they told me that my package would be delivered that night. But it didn't come. The next day, I called again and was told that it was delayed and would arrive the following day. But it still didn't come.

I called customer support again and was told that I needed to call their carrier because it was out of their hands. They told me to find out what the carrier said and then call them back to let them know. I was really frustrated because I had to do all the work to find my package, even though they chose the carrier. It felt like they weren't doing anything to help me.

Eventually, I found out that the carrier had lost my package. I had to call Ace Hardware again to get a refund, but they only refunded my shipping. I had to call them again to get that fixed. It took me about 7-8 different phone calls just to get a refund. It was a really frustrating experience, and I don't think I'll ever order from Ace Hardware again.

This isn't the first time that I've had a bad experience with an order from Ace Hardware. I thought that maybe it was just a one-time thing, but now I know that it's not. I'm really disappointed because I used to like shopping at Ace Hardware, but now I don't think I can trust them anymore.

Ace Hardware Disappointing Experience with Ace Hardware: Refund Denied Despite Credit Card Purchase and Phone Number Provided

I recently had an experience with Ace Hardware that left me feeling quite disappointed. I visited the Woodmont Village location in Canton to return an unused bundle of rope that I had purchased a few weeks prior. Unfortunately, the rope ended up costing more than I had anticipated, so I decided to return it and get my money back.

However, I had misplaced my receipt and was unsure if I would be able to get a refund. I thought that at the very least, I could receive store credit since I had purchased the item with my credit card and provided my phone number at the time of purchase. But when I approached the cashier, I was met with rudeness and argumentativeness.

The cashier accused me of either being a liar or a thief, stating that they had only sold one bundle of rope in the last two months and it was to Mrs. XXX. I found it quite amusing that they were able to look up and find the people who had purchased the same item, but they were unwilling to look up my purchase using my credit card information.

After speaking with a manager, I was disappointed to find that they were not willing to help me in any way. They did not try to correct the situation or look up my purchase using a different method. All I received was a half-hearted apology.

As someone who supports local small businesses, I had been a frequent visitor to this Ace Hardware location, visiting about once a month. However, after this experience, I will not be returning. It is a shame that such a negative experience has caused me to lose faith in this establishment.
