I have been using Jack Pixley since 2007 to clean and inspect my chimney. This time, I worked with Jim White. He was very kind and respectful. I didn't have to ask him to take his shoes off and, during this Covid Pandemic, he came wearing a mask and practice proper social distancing, which I appreciated. Jim, along with the other technicians, was straightforward and honest. That kind of integrity means a lot to me.

I was very impressed with the service I received from Anton of Jack Pixley Sweeps. He was knowledgeable, professional, polite and an expert in his field. He took his time and answered all my questions regarding a gas fireplace installation, changing gas to wood and possible moving of brand new gas insert to the upstairs fireplace. I would highly recommend this company and will plan to use them for all future fireplace inspections or concerns.

Jack Pixley Chimney Sweeps & Masonry was a very polite and professional sweep. My chimney is old and was used as a wood burning fireplace. He took pictures from the roof down into the flue and also of the masonry on top. He explained the condition and the pictures verified. He was honest and not pushy or intimidating. I did not have any additional work done today because it would need to be done in the summer due to the masonry. I recommend Jack Pixley Chimney Sweeps & Masonry as an honest and personable professional.

The Jack Pixley crew, from the office staff to the final cleanup and inspection, were professional, thorough, timely and responsive. Jeremy and Tyrice (sorry if I misspelled your name!) removed damaged firebrick, rebuilt our chimney and installed a stainless steel chimney liner. Customer contact was positive and the whole experience went better than we expected... even our little 'ankle biter' dog mellowed out. I would recommend Jack Pixley without reservation.

i used to use Jack Pixley's service when I had a wood burning fireplace. They always did a wonderful job. I have since switched to gas inserts. Anton did a great job of cleaning and diagnostics. Personable and professional. Very detailed review. Was patient with puppy in house. He was also very considerate of my work at home position. Fireplaces look great. He gave good time line for future repairs. Updated as to needed repairs. No hard sale. Would highly recommend.

Jim did an awesome job! Arrived early. He went above and beyond. I was under the impression this would be a visit to provide an estimate. Jim assessed the issue, and solved the problems immediately, no follow up appointment needed. He also took the time to contact the previous company, from which the problems originated, to report the issues. The price charged for his time and service was very reasonable. Will use Jack Pixley again and recommend to everyone I know! Thank you!

I would highly recommend Jack Pixley Sweeps! Their customer service is excellent! James, my technician was professional, knowledgeable, personable and honest. He explained the process of cleaning and inspecting my chimney and made sure I was using my fireplace safely. James even let me know about some damaged wood siding on my chimney that I would never have been able to see without going up on the roof myself! I really appreciated the detailed report with pictures of my chimney that is emailed to you afterwards.

When we built our salt box colonial home, thirty years ago, we added a masonry fireplace that would have perfectly functioned, two hundred years ago. It is the gem of our beloved home. When it needed repair, the work was at least two stories above ground and exacting. Every step, from estimate to completion, was executed flawlessly. The chimney inspection and dryer vent service were excellent. They performed the inspection, showed me the images and how the work was done. They provided useful explanations, alternative suggestions, and information about alternatives and safety considerations. It was very helpful The dryer vent had not been cleaned for awhile. They inspected the vent, found defects, and repaired them along with the cleaning; above and beyond what would be expected in a routine procedure. They provided counsel on safety issues and did an excellent job.

Excellent! Techs Caleb and John were knowledgeable, courteous, professional. Very impressed with the high-res color camera fed into the fireplace flues, and closely monitored during its full travel period. Great work keeping the white carpet, in both fireplace rooms, unsoiled during process. Nice job with rooftop chimney/masonry inspection, photos, and recommendations for maintenance. Really appreciate the final invoice and report with color photos, work summary, maintenance recommendations, and costs. Totally satisfied, and exceeded expectations. Great job!

My first time using this company, and am SO impressed with the professionalism, thoroughness, and willingness to answer questions by Adam! He even let me watch as he inspected the flue with the camera! I am training to be a Home Inspector and would definitely recommend this company to a client if I thought a thorough inspection and professional opinion was required. I was full of questions, and Adam was happy to answer every one of them. I apologized for asking him so many questions and he simply stated "That's what I'm here for." I cannot think of a single reason not to recommend this company, and will definitely hire again as recommended. 5 Stars all the way!

First experience with Jack Pixley and I was extremely impressed. James (Jim) W came out to do a cleaning and inspection of our gas fireplace as we had not used it in many, many years and our selling the house so we wanted to make sure everything was good. From beginning to end, their service was great. We received a call 1 day before our appointment to let us know the 2 hour window that Jim would be here. The day of the appointment, Jim called to say he was on his way and arrived promptly at the beginning of the 2 hour window. Jim was very friendly, courteous and easy to work with. He put down drop cloths to ensure that he did not get our house dirty and did a complete inspection and cleaning of the gas fireplace. When he was done, he explained everything that he completed, went through his findings and explained that everything was in great shape and no further work was needed. I was also impressed that when Jim showed up at the door, he was already wearing a mask, which tells me that both he and the company are taking great care to keep both their customers and employees safe during COVID. I would highly recommend Jack Pixley and will use them again in the future. Thank you Jim and Jack Pixley for the wonderful service.
