I visited store #00585 today and was told they don't give veteran discounts any longer. I was also told to enter a customer survey with my receipt that is no longer active. I don't know about you but I find this pretty disconcerting that your stores are not following what I thought were ace common practices. My receipt is journal #j30470/2 and customer no:*3, for amount $49.75. Are these your accepted business practices?

I relocated to Hernando FL about 15 years ago and shortly thereafter I began dealing with Hernando's Ace Hardware. My experience with the salespeople and staff was just magnificent! Then on one occasion I had a problem with a product which needed to be returned and had to deal with the store's Manager/owner?...the little short rooly poly smelly overweight loud mouth know it all Larry. Let's cut through the chase... my experience with this unruly insulting person resulted in my having to file a police report against him. I am sure that report is still on file at the Sheriff's Office. During the process, I was told that the only reason I could not charge him with assault was because he did not actually put his hands on me. During the complaint process the Sheriff's deputy advised me to stay away from that store as another incident might not end this way. I never returned as there are other more Manager user friendly Ace Hardwares in the area.
