Oct 2022 I paid $5000 for a new transmission. Since then I have had the car back in the shop 5 times and 4 transmissions later. I'm being told now that it is a rebuild and not a new one.

1st time - to put in new transmission
2nd time - too much fluid in transmission, wouldn't shift properly
3rd time - put in another transmission
4th time - previous one didn't want to shift. Another transmission replaced
5th time - transmission leaking, needs to be replaced again

Claimed loss: Rental car cost - $1000lost time at work - 2.5 weeks

Desired outcome: I want reimbursed for the cost of rental car, both times I have had to get one to go to work and transport my children to and from school
