AAMCO Transmissions review: Transmission casing leak turning into major problem

May 8, 2023, I was informed that Alan Selig isn't the current owner anymore so worked out an agreement with Kevin, new owner, also got a EasyPay for the highest interest possible because didn't have funds when the priced changed. We agreed on a lesser amount of $4280.56, today I paid a $1000.00 on a credit card which is all I had. I only got to drive 8 minutes away the car would not move forward but only backwards so called shop to toll car back to shop. The transmission was still working by placing more transmission fluid so I believe that someone did something wrong that made the problem worse than the original problem. I am so frustrated need a full refund or no more changes added for total repairs. I have lost so much income as a Uber since March 29 to the present, May 8th. 2023. There are no more funds available to pay if I have no car to work.

2014 Ford Escape for a casing leak caused by a crack casing so part ordered out of state since March 29, 2023, priced agreed upon. Several calls & Emails as to why so long, got different excuses such as only one machinic present, why not get more staff from another Aamco locations or transfer to another Aamco shop. I finally get a call on May 1st, 2023, that the transmission is done but it was working with just adding transmission fluid so what happen nobody knows. I can't afford the new price of $6600 vs $2030 that was agreed upon. I like when you go to a doctor for any major health issue you can get another opinion. I wonder if there are any other mechanic that can give a second opinion.?
