John's Main Auto Body is a bad business. They are crooks and I recommend you go somewhere else. They take too long with unnecessary paperwork. I've never had to show my registration when being towed, what the heck? The old lady there was on the phone for a long time and it took forever to get out of there. It was the worst experience ever and they don't accept Visa, so you have to use the ATM. They are scammers, so please stay away! I have no choice but to leave one star.

I had my car towed to John's Main Auto Body and it was a real hassle. They said I had to pay to get my stuff out of the car, but I live in it and all my things are in there, including my meds for my stroke and asthma. They wouldn't even let me take pictures of the car. I was gonna scrap it to pay the fees, but they said I had to take everything out if I did that. I need my meds and IDs, but they won't give them to me unless I pay the fees, even though I'm leaving the car with them. It seems like they just want more money from me. I'm homeless and they're taking advantage of me.

I got my ride towed by John's Main Auto Body on June 10. I showed up at the shop the next day, not knowing what to expect. I signed up for a payment plan so I could check out my wheels and grab my stuff. I coughed up some cash upfront and got to take a look at my ride. They told me I had to pay $700 in full before I could get my plates back. I came back on June 12 to pay the rest and get my plates. I decided to scrap my ride and got no dough for it. I took the L. When I paid, I asked for a breakdown of the $700 bill. They said they couldn't get it and told me to talk to "Karen". I called on 8/19 and got no help. I talked to "Karen" and she acted like she didn't know why I didn't get a bill when I paid. I think they charged me too much and I'm not happy that they didn't give me a list of what they did.
