2Checkout.comLousy, Antiquated Customer Service

2Checkout.com uses 1950s policies for obtaining a refund from their vendors! I ordered some items from one of their vendors! Payment was processed. 2.5 weeks later, I hadn't received the items from the vendor. I emailed 2Checkout.com asking the status of my order. More than 1 business day later, they replied stating they had emailed the vendor regarding the order and had to give the vendor 2 days to reply! I waited 3 days. Nothing. I emailed 2Checkout.com again demanding a refund. More than one full business day later, they replied stating they had requested refund and had to wait another 2 days! REALLY? In this day and age of electronic communication we need to wait 2 business days?? Try 2 HOURS! That is obsurd! More than 3 weeks after initial order and over a week of exchanging emails with ridiculously slow and condescending cust. service reps, I finally received my email. Buyer beware, this company is slow to respond to any customer issues! In the Facebook, Twitter age of instant communication, any reliable company you'd be able to handle these issues quickly and efficiently. Be warned if the lousy customer service 2Checkout.com provides!

    2CO.comUnauthorized/Fraudulent Charges

Two unauthorized/fraudulent charges to my bank account from 2CO.COM*SWITCHV877-2940273
One for $47.40, the second for $70.80 - both made on the same day.
I've never used 2CO.COM for any purchase.
A quick Google search shows many such fraudulent charges made to people's accounts.

I used this link: https://www.2checkout.com/va/sales/customer/detail_sale from 2CO.COM to get information regarding the "order" for which I was fraudulently charged. It returned one "order" for $18.95 for a customer named Joye N Hearn (not me or anyone I know); made 5 years ago.

I've contacted 2CO.COM Customer Service via webform, email, and telephone. Too soon to know if/how they will respond.

My bank informed me this was neither a PayPal nor debit card purchase, which suggests the Fraud used my actual bank account number to make the "purchases." Bank immediately put a Stop Payment (may not work though) & a vendor block on the charges and issued me a new account number.

I have had a healthy business relationship with 2checkout.com for 2 years. On 2nd January 2013, they contacted me stating that my account was closed and that I could only have my account balance after a period of 90 days. After the 90 days, I wrote to them reminding them that I was expecting the money upon which they responded by stating that the money was forfeited because I violated their Terms of Usage. Keeping the money for 90 days was enough punishment or me and as if that was not enough, they now want to punish me twice by stealing my money!! I find this immoral under the guise of violation of TOS. A forced forfeiture is open robbery. I will be filling a lawsuit soon while at the same time I wish to warn potential and current users of 2CO to think twice before trusting them with your money. There are many reliable providers who will not steal your money under the guise of TOS violation. This might appear as a story to you now but reality will hit when you become the next victim.

        2Checkout - D. D. - 2CO.comMisappropriation of Funds

I have an internet business and use 7 different merchant accounts to process payments. We just started using 2CO.com (out of business) (Google says business closed) AKA 2checkout.com dba D. D. were caught dipping into my account without my consent and supposedly "refunding" orders that were already filled.
When a legitimate transaction requests a refund both parties should have the opportunity to contest the issue and submit a detailed report on what transpired...but instead, 2checkout just dips their hand into your cookie jar behind your back and simply takes money out of your account without your consent or previous knowledge..out of 178 orders we placed with them in 8 weeks they charged us almost 9% in fees, held 11% back indefinitely and gave back 14% of sales in refunds...so, in other words we paid 2checkout to go to work. Nice.
I set up a merchant account with these people and they ended up charging me over 6% on my transactions, held back 11% of my sales and would refund my customers without even asking me what happened! The worst part being that the orders they refunded I had ALREADY FILLED!! These guys call themselves your "partner" (they apparently think that they have a right to call themselves your business partner because you LET them process payments for you) Long story short if you need a merchant account don't even think about using 2 checkout.com as they are just another online scam. Particularly watch out for one of their scam managers D. D. who notified me that she has "already given a refund" on an order she knew nothing about...even though we had already filled the order and lost money on..what a complete ### D. is...and the owner of the company is a bigger ### for hiring incompetent scammers to skim your profits behind your back. What's worse is they rip you off and they smile while their doing it...they are much worse then someone that holds a gun to your head and steals your wallet...much worse They conveniently make it very difficult for you to track the "refunds" they give out...there is no list of refunds or credits in your account that you can track...check out the BBB and [redacted] for more derogatory information on this illegal operation. If you need to process payments then go to paypal or google checkout for fast payouts and they don't"dip" into the cookie jar behind your back...not to mention that they are 400% cheaper and much more cost effective. Also, 2 checkout holds your money for 10 days before they release pay into your account

You are such a [censor]. First of all Dodie is just a customer care rep, nothing more. 2nd, there is no way to "dip" into your account.

The main problem with you is that you most likely didn't read any of the Terms Of Service or any of the other agreements and then got mad because you screwed up and now want to blame someone else for your stupidity. Way to go buddy. Post your ignorance for the world to see! Maybe if you had done what you were supposed to do your insecurities would not have lead you to defame Dodie, which might I add you can and probably will be sued for.

You would think that being a "business man" (and I use that term loosely) you would have read all legal agreements regarding accepting payments for your business.

I was a customer of your service, So called Mia's Maids, and I am shocked that you have any nerve to call anyone else a "Scam". You stole my money, and never came through with service. The maids that you sent were rude, used fowl language, and two actually used physical abuse right in within my home! So when I asked for a refund, you refused.

So, you have no right to call anyone else a scam!

I just placed an order as i have got a discount coupon from 2checkout, i made an initial payment to 2checkout for the merchant services. To my surprise on the third day i see a note : 1732884 account closed.

After a days i get a response from 2checkout that my cc details did not match up with my order details for which i already told them that i have made the transaction using my wife's credit card and they are free to ask any proof for the payment and i would be happy to help them.

There is no response from 2checkout team. Can anyone help me??

Each time I wait for 7-10 days for the refund, it never happens. This is the 2nd time I'm being asked to wait 7-10 days (on top of the most recent 5 days). How am I to know for sure that the refund will happen after this? Do you really feel that an apology suffices? What happens if it still doesn't go through? What are you doing different from the last 3 times to ensure it goes through?

This US$12 is nothing compared to the business loss during the 1 week I hosted with you & my website & email was down 3 times, the last for more than 56hrs before I had no choice but to immediately host with someone else. However, this US$12 refund is an indication of your sincerity in service recovery & you commitment to fulfill your 30-day money-back guarantee. The longer you take to do this & the more time & effort I need to get you to do what you should have done promptly & without any hassle on my part reflects badly on you & 3ix.

I'm still hosting another domain & website with 3ix (I've mentioned the domain to them in earlier emails) & I'm seriously considering if I should continue to do so if I don't get the refund this time.

As I anticipated, it is 19 June'08 and, once again, after waiting 10 business days from your last promise that I will receive the refund by 18 June'08, I have not.

What's your excuse this time? What exactly went wrong this time? What did you do this time that's different from the past 4 times? What will you be doing different henceforth?

I've received a US$6.95 refund for the same order within 10 business days previoulsy. Why can't you replicate what you did for this US$6.95 refund when you process the US$12 refund?

It's becoming clear that you are just making excuses and really have no intention to make the refund. You really leave me no choice but to do what I need to do to get back what's rightfully mine.

I have several transactions with them.Recently, i checked my bank account and noticed that they deducted way higher than what i am supposed to pay for the services in www.destle.com.Right now, 2checkout stopped my payment and stating in the email "Hello, Thank you for contacting the Fraud Prevention Unit. We apologize for any delay in our response. Your orders have been canceled because we did not receive the documentation that we requested. Before we can accept your payments, we will need to verify your orders. In order for us to be able to accept any future sales, we will require further verification. We will need you to provide us with the authorization code for this transaction. The authorization code is the six character code that is assigned to each transaction. You can obtain this information by calling your bank or credit card company (the number listed on the back of your credit card). Please reply with the authorization code at your earliest convenience. I apologize for any inconvenience that you may have experienced. Thank you for your time and cooperation with this matter."

Previously they process my payement and now they state this in emails.Their customer service is real bad in the extent that i had to spam them with emails knowing that they take their own sweet time to reply. When they reply, its not really relevant to what you request or enquire from them.I wanted their process payment statement and the email above is what they replied to me.This is a piece of [censor].When i requested services in destle.com, my credit card has already been deducted by those amount and the readers in the website said that i have not made payment. Its outrageous, i was accused and banned from that website. When i live chat with the customer service in destle.com, most tried to avoid my question and i was so lost. After about 3hours later, i was so pissed..and one of the kind soul called me, yes he called me from overseas telling me that he will retrieve back my money for me.He did and i really thanks him. While 2checkout sending emails asking me to provide them with details etc..see that its so hard to retrieve money from 2checkout.Anytime of the day, they will hold back your payments and thats very bad.I lost my credibility to the readers and its very fishy about destle.com and 2checkout.I'm a victim and i keep using destle.com services without knowing that 2checkout has not process my payment, can u imagine how much money has accumulated and they are holding. My transactions all in USD and there are about 22 transactions not clear?I was banned from the website and get accused of not paying up.Try 2checkout at your own risk.Moral of the story, what comes around goes around, may all of them go to hell.

I am using their service for last 10 years. Recently I have raised the fund release limit to higher amount. From that day, they have not released my funds. Now I have around 100, 000 (Hundred Thousand) USD accumulated and its growing.. I am sure they will now suspend my account and take those money. Wow what a business model they have. Do you know who can help me?
