New help resurrecting my website
I had 123Triad Web Design created a website site for me about 8 years ago I sort of retired and let the website go.
I decided to resurrect my business and have tried to communicate with 123Triad several times but no response by phone or return message.
I was happy with their service and what they provided it was quick and efficient so I don't understand if they are out of business or changed their name. Need help.

This is has to be one of the worst experiences I have ever experienced as a business owner. Paid this company 3k for a website that looks like a 2 year old made it. It took a year to make, was overcharged, and has tons of errors and mistakes. The service was horrible and it took them over a year to make it. What this company simply does is overcharge you for a poor website and pays a programmer a lot less in India and they keep the difference. For your own sake, GO ELSEWHERE! Triad is a big scam .

Absolutely Horrible Customer Service, Paid for custom 5 page website design (not a template). They produced a nice home page after 2+ months of revisions and kept telling us that we could see the other pages after the home page was done. Well all they did was create a template and change a small box on each page. It was absolutely horrible, full of spelling mistakes (paid extra for professional content writing). Now they will not refund the web hosting fee I paid them even though I already owned the URL and they were only going to host once approved. Discover Credit card will not dispute the transaction because their contract says it can only be cancelled within 15 days of signing yet they don't get you an approved page for almost a month. This is a horrible company - stay far away from them there are lots of better companies that don't sub out their work and can't grasp a simple concept for a website.

Charles Watkins at Data Moderated is mentally ill. He not only was paid $27k, but I have over 100 emails and threats as he held our I.T hostage when our company tried to secure our 2nd round of financing. He wrote horrible code that was NOT commercially applicable! When asked to see the code he refused. When making a final settlement for the code we paid for he sent us a stripped version of our site and took the funds. He set us up by deferring the signed contracts on his initial agreement and dismantled our old site and proceeded to build the new site so we had no choice but to fall into his blackmail scheme. He has used his tech savy ways to
to defame me and my company and will be held legally accountable for his illegal actions! It should be a crime for sites to post whatever anybody claims as true to ruin legit reputations.
Poor Quality
I had a most challenging experience by hiring Triad Web Design. Their work was shoddy, and filled with errors and mistakes. I was never able to speak to a web designer directly because these designers were located overseas. When I questioned the typos and poor work, I was told, "Don't worry about the content. Just look at the design." Since they were using a templated design, there was no opportunity to customize an indiividual page. Small changes would incur an "extra" fee... from taking off their company name from the bottom of my page to including the full amount of content that I provided to them. Save yourself time and trouble. Do not work with this company.
I had the same issues, poor service, can't spell, delay till you can't get out of the contract.

Excellent service when it came to designing and releasing the website - problem occurs when you need support after the site is released. 15 days to load product and do trial runs on the page to ensure site works properly. Contract agreement upfront was for bandwidth to support 1000 plus individual products and descriptions. Told that their team monitors bandwidth usage. As of today, this is the 3rd time in 4 weeks we have run out of bandwidth and been told to open a ticket for resolution/followup response in 24-48 hrs. Unacceptable for an e-commerce business - how much business will I lose during the holiday season waiting for 123Triad to fix "their problem"! How many customer will return to my site when they login and see "bandwidth limit exceeded"!

Worst customer service! I can't stand this company, they nickel and dime you every step of the way! All they care about is charging you more money and take a week to do the smallest updates on your site. This company is absolute GARBAGE!
I paid Triad far too much to design my site. I liked my rep, and found her helpful and supportive, but only for the first month or two. After that, she stopped responding to e mails or phone calls when I needed help or was having a problem. Their support department is horrible, and never get back to you in any kind of timely manner.
I had my site re-done by someone else, and am on the phone as we speak, trying to simply get my authorization code to transfer my domain name. Triad is saying I need to fill out forms, have them notarized, blah blah blah..typical of them to be difficult for no reason but to BE difficult. My new hosting is completely on hold because of these games Triad is playing. Their goal is to make it such a pain to move your domain name that you'll just stay with them. Horrible company!
I have to agree that Triad is terrible. They are not designers, have no quality control and you're stuck talking to a protocol droids who are not problem solvers. You can not speak to the designers directly, so one simple change becomes 10 explanations to correct things they change that you don't ask for. There is no style standard from page to page and you will find yourself repeating obvious problems that a first year design student would catch. If you say "store" instead of "10-product page with PayPal integration, " you're in for a lecture and not help. Working with Triad was the worst vendor decision of my profession life. Avoid them at all costs. The only effective people are the sales reps.

100% WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had. There webpage is full of lies:
1. Their sites are all template based.
2. All work is outsourced outside of the US and there are HUGE language barriers. Due to time zone differences, NO WORK IS EVER DONE IN LESS THAN 36 HOURS.
3. They do not honor the 100% Money Back Satisfaction Guarantee
4.They will never check their work to be sure it works on both PCs and Macs as well as iPads and all major web browsers
5.They frequently will simply completely ignore your requests and purposely create errors and mistakes during the website design process to make the project go over the allotted 2 month period. It is a scam.
6.They will repeatedly lie about when an update will be completed.
7.They have no creativity, at all. Any website that looks halfway decent is because the client himself/herself did the actual design.
8.Their logo service is 100% amateur.
9.They can't accept credit cards over the internet (Crazy for a Website Design Company). You actually have to FAX THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER!
10. The great price that you are quoted is a scam because there are so many hidden fees and charges. Plan on a reasonable website to cost at least $2, 000.00 with them + ton's of head aches, wasted time and aggravation.

I have nothing to show after nearly a year, 3 project managers and $1750 spent trying to get a social networking website developed through 123 Triad. I paid half upfront and was just notified that if I didn't pay the other half even though the website was not complete they would turn this over to collections. 123 Triad boasts of a "satisfaction guarantee" but this only applies for the first 30 days. I did not get the response I needed to complete this site in 30 days as they require you send an email and the update was usually done in about a week but rarely did it come back as requested. I was promised a custom website and was willing to pay good money for it. They promoted themselves as world class web-developers and expert boonex developers but offered no professional assistance and in the end could not deliver a custom website. I wish I had known this upfront because I could have gone direct to a dolphin developer for a fraction of the cost. I did everything I could to communicate with my latest project manager Todd Mann via email, voice-mail and personal visits but its been a waste of time. I even hired a PM to help but she found out the same thing you tell them what you want and you get something back completely different. I am starting over with someone new and am filing a complaint with the BBB and strongly considering a small claims suit for the $1750 already spent.

This comapany is the most unprofessional pile of crap ever. They take forever to do any revisions and then charge for things that were included in your contract no more than 300 words per page functionality that you told them you wanted to begin with report them to the BBB and the attorney generals office we should file a suit against them together. Terrible! Very bad communication problem. Took them 4 months to get it right. Said they'd manage site for a year for free, not true. Wouldn't even fix a broken link for me without charging. They charged me $200.00 for a free Wordpress plug-in that only took minutes to install. I first spoke to an American salesperson, but after I sent them a 50% deposit, he outsourced me to an Asian company. The product manager, Jeffrey Reyes, not only misunderstood me frequently, he took a week or more to get back to me after I'd leave him numerous voice mail and email requests. The last straw was when he took 30 days to get back to me. Hired another company, outsourcing-partners.com, who fixed a broken link, extended the sidebars and aligned the text links for only $60.00.
i also gave them $700 as a deposit for absolutely nothing but 3 months of wasting my time with off the shelf templates and a team that had no clue about web design. Additionally i was VERY clear in my expectations, objectives and content requirement and outlined everything in writing. They delayed for several months then contacted me that they needed more money. But they had not done anything yet other then provide me a link to a sample page.
I contacted them and cancelled my order but they indicated I signed a contract and refused any refund. So I ended up with absolutely nothing.
I would stay FAR away from this company!
I have countless emails and documents that i would be very happy to share with anyone that isn't convinced this company will only take your money and produce nothing.

Terrible Service, Poor Quality, Stay Clear!
123Triad offers poor service. Please do not get fooled and use them as the results will be very low quality. You have to hand hold them every step of the way. They buy or license templates from freelancers and do not design most of their work themselves. So the samples you see on their sites www.123triad.com, www.123triad.net and www.beeta.com is the result mostly of people who have sold their work to the company.
As the customer you are unable to speak directly with their designers to discuss your thoughts and vision for your website because their designers are located overseas. You have to speak directly with a project manager who emails or gets on chat with the designer who is located overseas. The program managers are trained to say our designers come in at midnight so that's why you cannot talk with them. If you want a custom built website and not one of their templates they literally have to find a designer who can do just that, otherwise they have different people working on your site at any given time, never the same person so the skill set will be different depending on who it is. As your internet calling-card you cannot afford to hire a company where you can't even speak with the person directly working on your site.
When you ask to make changes the results are sloppy. Most of the time they miss simple changes and create ridiculous designs and placements such as awkward colors and fonts. They claim to be marketing professionals but don't get fooled by the templates on their sites and their work is not consistent.
Additionally the project managers will tell you that they can design a site with the components and options you want then come back and say it can't be done when you know it can because the project managers a low skilled themselves in the way of web design and programming. They do not take the time to truly evaluate your needs. Additionally they do not know as much as they should about web design, basic things, and will constantly tell you I need to ask the designer.
Please do not waste the time or money with 123Triad. It will take you 2-3 three times as long to get a site developed the way you want it if you work with these people...and they have a no refund policy.
Folks there are so many credible companies here in the U.S. and overseas that can do 1000% better work than 123Triad. You can have a wonderful site designed with many companies and the cost will be low. Please do your research and stay clear of 123Triad. Make sure you can talk with your designer. Make sure you can get a refund or some money back if the work is of poor quality. Ask them to access your project first before they waste your time and make you assume (because you saw those templates on their sites that they bought from true top designers to resell for themselves) thinking they know what they're doing, only to find out a week has gone by and the results are substandard. Make sure your web company also hires true designers and not just template updaters.

Terrible! I first spoke to an American who had me contract with the company, all-the-while thinking I was dealing with an American company. Then I was outsourced to someone I had trouble communicating with. I wanted a custom design and submitted the layout. The first time it came back it looked ridiculous, it was unbalanced and looked awkward. I just got off the phone with 123triad and was enquiring on their services when the sales rep who called himself (chad) became extremely rude with me and made me feel as if I was an idiot, when really all I was doing was asking about the company and what I was getting for my $599. When I asked him if he was having a bad day he said WHAT! In a rude manner as I told him that he was being unprofessional causing me not too work with him or his company he then hung up on me. I called back and demanded to speak to a supervisor or manger, he then proclaimed to be the supervisor and manger of the building. As of now I want nothing to do with that company and will keep looking for other web building company's
I can't believe these guys are still in business with company like setmysite.com or web.com. You could use homestead and do just as well as 123tri-BAD. They are way over-priced and the contracts will screw you! About two weeks into my design with Tri-BAD, my designer lost her temper. Did I really pay $900 just to get a bunch of attitude and yelling? Avoid Rachel! It took them over a month to get the website up for my car wash, and it looked totally mediocre. I've kept it up for a little over a year now just to get my money's worth since I couldn't get a refund due to their stupid contract. I'm just a couple weeks away from leaving them for Set My Site, Web.com, or anyone but these guys. 123 is terrible! Buyer beware for sure.
I agree that this company does a horrible job. My intent was just to pay little and get a foundation for my website and try to fix and update the rest myself; which I will be doing soon. Updates are horrible when telling them what they need to correct. They will update one area of your website and mess up a whole new part of your website. I'm thankful I only paid $300 for the work that they provided me. The website is still in work with them. Buyer beware, even though there portfolio looks nice; my experience have been different.
Please do yourself a favor. Stay as far away from this company as possible, they could care less about you as a customer. They quote one price and then keep asking for additional amounts such as $10 here, $39 here and before you know it your update or web costs double. The developers make so many mistakes you will drive yourself crazy trying to find the errors, and then when the correct something the next upate it is wrong again. If you label a picture with a very descriptive name they cannot even place it in the right section of your web. What a joke! When you call in to speak with someone they will not allow you to talk to anyone, and they never tell you the people who are working on your web may not speak or be able to read english very well. Buyer beware you get what you pay for.
As someone who is not technically proficient I was given little or no help! I had to do all the technical research on what my website should be able to do and of course the website ended up almost non-funtional in the most critical areas. The best thing was the layout but the service was a nightmare and the functionality nearly non-existent i now have to get someone else to complete the site. I would not recommend these guys to my enemies.
