Hostess Brands review: Scary experience eating hostess powdered sugar donettes

Yesterday I bought a little package of Hostess powdered sugar donettes. I ate 2 in a hurry even though they had the strangest chemical odor, very like having just opened a big can of super glue. At first I thought it was because I had just used some hand sanitizer on my hands. Then I realized it was the donuts. It was very scary because I didn't know what chemical I had just eaten but I knew it wasn't good. The donuts simply reeked, and it was in the donuts, not the packaging. I closed up the package and put it in the bottom drawer of my desk without closing the drawer, and as I sat at my desk I could smell the odor rising up from the closed package. I had a scary evening wondering if I should make myself throw up.
