We don't know much about how Zaxby's handles customer complaints outside ComplaintsBoard, but what we see here, on our website, is quite disappointing. We think there might be reasons for the company's actions (like not knowing about the complaints), and we would be happy to see them among customer-focused businesses that easily solve customer problems. Zaxby's closing at 2 pm and not opening until 5 pm

Today, Sunday, September 22, 2019, at approximately 2 pm we stopped at Zaxby's in Paducah, KY, to discover the door was locked. Another woman said the drive thru was closed and said to come inside. There were people inside eating, so we called and they said we are closing until 5 pm, but gave no reason and no signs were posted on door. There were several other people that were turned away and left wondering and thinking odd in the middle of the afternoon closing for 3 hours. What's up?

Zaxby's fries/seasoning

My grand daughter and I are at this NEW location and she asked for some extra seasoning for her fries. Well they give her a container of fry seasoning and some other nasty spice mixed with it . Well she did not notice it until she put it on her fries well by then they were ruined . So I went to the cashier and showed her and the boy with the dumb look on his face that they messed up and all they could say is, do you want seasoning, well I said no that the fries were already ruined. And all I got back was a look of confusion. Duh. I wanted more fries. Well I didn't get them. I guess I can spend my money at the many other food establishments !?!

Zaxby's it was something in my box of food

I'm sitting here eating half way into eating my 4 pc chicken plate I pick up a fry and under my fry this silver thing is in my plate under my food Currently pregnant and that's a big safety hazard for me having unsanitary things in my food that's a danger to me and my child your employees we not rude but they need to be careful and mindful of how they handle food I should really call the health department and have them investigate this its awful

I went to Zaxbys in Troy, Alabama. Ordered a salad in the drive-through. Got home got settled in and started eating. Halfway through it I find several pieces of bad lettuces more like spoiled lettuce. I had a kidney/pancreas transplant and eating bad or spoiled food can cause bacteria and infections in transplant patients.

Zaxby's grilled house zalad

On 9/13/19 around 11:55 I ordered a grilled chicken house Zalad and returned to work. The chicken was burned to the point of being black and I could not eat it. The problem I have with this is, the person had to have seen it that place it on my salad to begin with and should have just left it off completely . I returned to the store with my receipt and pictures the next day to speak with the manager and he gave my money back and apologized. He didn't ask what day or time this happened. I asked if he wanted the receipt with the time stamp to know who did this because it was clearly unacceptable, and he just looked at me funny and said sure. I don't think he cared at all who did it as most of the employees look nasty to begin with. I posted pictures on Facebook and many people have complained about that Zaxbys. I'm attaching photos for you to see. I will no longer be going back to that particular restaurant.

Zaxby's poor management, rude employees, long wait time on phone, e.t. c.

$4.17 for this greasy, old looking, and unpleasant junk? I called the store to ask about the portion size only to be put on hold, then have the phone disconnected for the first time. I called back FIVE times with no answer what so ever. The sixth time one of the most rude, and unhelpful managers answered, and I told her that I had already called, but got hung up on. I also told her that I called five times in a row, with no answer, and that someone should have picked uo the phone at somepoint. She told me that I do not need to tell her how to run her restaurant, and that they were in the middle of a "dinner rush". Right after, she hung the phone up on me. When I got there after being so mad at the poor customer service, there were only 4 cars in the parking lot, by far not what anyone can call a dinner rush. I went inside only to be greeted with dirty tables, a dirty floor, and too many employees that were not doing much of anything. I tried to ask the cashier who happened to also be a manager there(far too young for the role), if I coupd speak with the manager that hung up on me. No response. I sat a small booth since there were only a few customers inside, and everyone in the back kept looking at me with smirks on their faces. When I got my food I told the manager lady thank you, and she never said welcome so I told her that I was welcome, and stormed out. What a worthless, low life, and unprofessional place of business. I see why there are so many angry customers at Zaxby's. No one looks for hand outs. If a business messes up, and/or if the employees are rude, then yes the customer should be and is entitled to a refund.

Zaxby's service and meal

On Saturday, August 24, 2019, 2:29 PM, Check #5, Cashier Jessica. My cousin and I stopped in this Zaxby's for lunch. We are from Manchester, TN and have a great Zaxby's we know how the food should look. First impression was how dirty the floors were. My cousin ordered a blue cheese salad which is her normal and I tried new cajun sandwich. Salad had no blue cheese and was 1/4 of the normal size vegetables looked like they had been setting out. This is definitely not what you get in Manchester not even close. My cajun chicken sandwich had cold chicken and cheese that was cold. She decided to keep her salad but I took my sandwich back. The lady actually took her hands, no gloves, and felt the chicken and the cheese. Said she would go get me another one. It was exactly the same cold chicken and cheese cold wouldn't even melt. I tried one bite and couldn't eat any more. Also soda machine was not working. Very unsanitary tables also dirty. Will never go there again. Cost me $19.27. Love Zaxby's but not this one

Zaxby's customer service

Went through drive thru on Aug 30 afternoon time. The cashier was VERY RUDE to me as I were inquiring about the new sandwich. I pulled to the window because I did not get a response. A young lady with glasses came to the window and apologized for the misunderstanding. She explained to me what was on the sandwhich and she asked for it to be made fresh. As I waited on my order the manager came out and spoke with me, I felt more appreciated once speaking to him and the young lady. I did not get the young lady name who was originally taking my order but as someone who is in the customer service field the way she went about it was unacceptable. You all need more people like the two who assured me everything would be taken care of.

Zaxby's order at drive through

On 8/25/19 I went through the drive through at the Ocala Zaxby's. I ordered 1 nibbler meal with a Diet Coke, 10 boneless wings -hot with a tea. My total was $19.33. I had been driving for 4 hours and still had 4 to go. I went to the window, paid and was given the two drinks. About 30 seconds later was handed a bag of food. My husband handed me my food (nibblers ordered) after I got onto the interstate. What I had been given was fried mushrooms and his order was BBQ wings not hot. I was very disappointed as was my husband. We did not get what we paid for not even close. My check # was 99 and the time was 1:50 PM. The mushrooms I received are priced at 3.79 and my meal was 7.19. Not only did I not get the right food I lost money on the error. I would appreciate a correction.

Zaxby's drive thru

One evening my daughter and I went to drive thru to order our food. My total so the cashier said was 30.50. I gave her 25.50 in cash and told her to take the rest off my bank card. The cashier was about to hand me back my card and said the took 9.00 off your card. I said why. You should only took 5. The manger came and the claim they void it off my card and just charge 5. Look at my receipt and the total was 30.15. I check my bank statement a day later and it wasn't voided off and I called and spoke to a shift manger and she claim the general manager was no in but she would take my name and number for her to call me. Never got a call back. I called. Manager wouldn't talk to me. Check my account later and the total was fix. Never will go back

Zaxby's manager's lack of concern regarding complaint

On 8/14/19 at 6:07pm a purchase of two menu items were made at your drive thru. One of the selections was your wings and things of which the chicken tenders were dried out, hard and tasteless. Upon contacting the manager Robert Engelauf instead of an apologetic response, he stated company policy is when I return the food and receipt he can offer a refund or a replacement order. My immediate thoughts were this guy thinks I'm trying to con him out of a free meal or worse. My thinking is as a manager he should insure your customers are receiving food products of satisfactory taste and quality. It's an inconvenience for me to take the time to return a purchase when I should be enjoying it. I think the issue is his not being more sympathetic and understanding about predicament than my returning an order I'm dissatisfied with.

Zaxby's found a pubic hair in breading of chicken, and food poisoning.

Opened coleslaw there was a long black hair in it begin eating the chicken fingers and there was a short black what looked like a pubic hair that tasted very bad that made me puke my guts out an got a fever and severe Diarrhea . Please contact me @[protected] because I would like to have this problem resolved with some kind help of yalls Corp and I appreciate the time for you all to read this. Have a great day.

Zaxby's I have a serious complaint one of your manager

My son worked for this zaxby restaurant and I was devastated on when he came home and told me that he didn't no longer what to work there because of the condition that he had to work under with his manger who does drug's with her employee and that she very friendly with the male employee and I asked him what was her name and he told me her name was Crystal so after I told him to quit I decided to report this incident to you because that is a place of business not a party place just what kind of business are you running I'm appalled by all of this

Zaxby's dressing left out of order

I usually eat at least 2-3 times per week from this Zaxby's. I average 2 times per month that my dressing packs are left out of my salad order. I come on my lunch break to pick this up and do not have time to come back to get items left out my neglectful employees. I would appreciate some further training or SOMETHING to be done to solve this problem. I absolutely LOVE Zaxby's food and do not want to stop eating there. Thanks so much for your time.

Zaxby's fries

Well I ordered my fries a certain way an they didn't come out the way I asked them to be. And another thing would b that I wanted to say that they were cold when I got em an I was waiting for over 15 mins jus to get them.
Thanks you I'd appreciate it if they did they job and cooked the food an not talked about how long they had to be there and how much they didn't like being there.

Zaxby's garden salad and fried mushrooms

My sister, niece and I went to the drive through at Zaxby's on Glenburnie Road in New Bern, N.C. We ordered a salad and Large Zax meal. We asked to have the salad split, but they said they could not do this...which was fine since they did supply an extra plate. We sat in the parking lot to share this since we were on the way back from the beach and had a pet in the car with us. (Sunday, July7th) When we were dividing the salad, we noticed there were a lot of brown pieces of lettuce we had to take out..(which we have never experienced before in the 3 locations in Greenville, N.C.) We eat at Zaxby's" A LOT!" Anyway we ate the salad then decided to go back thru the drive thru and order some fried mushrooms. We had to wait for them to prepare them...which was no problem. We left and started back home, planning to eat these on the way. When I opened the box all the mushrooms were lumped together and not like we usually get. We ate them anyway. Later that night my stomach was upset. I talked to my sister a few minutes ago and she told me her stomach had been upset, also. This will not keep me from eating at Zaxby's..just not this location. I thought you might would be interested to know this about the food in this location. The drinks were good and the Zax meal was good also. This was the only meal we had that day so we knew it was not anything else we ate.

Zaxby's incorrect order

Ordered a fried caesar salad without bacon. Received a grilled caesar salad with bacon. Drove back. Informed them of the mix up and was asked to hand over the receipt and food. I was told they could switch out the meat. I asked for a new salad. Received a grilled caesar with bacon bits inside. I suspect they give me back the same salad. Not a pleasant experience.

Zaxby's service

On Sunday, June 2, 2019, I went to zaxby's at 4633 Hartley Bridge Rd., macon Ga. 31216 and placed order #80 at 4:27 p.m. for $48.85. I was asked to pull forward for my order. I told the girl, I wanted the order in 2 separate bags. At 5:07, I was handed my order, and I told the girl I wanted my order in 2 separate bags, and that I also wanted to see the manager. He came out with my order still in 1 bag. I gave him my ticket and showed him how long I had been waiting. I took my order from him and he apologized and said that this was because of a shift change. He kept standing there starring at the ticket. I got more frustrated the longer he stood there and I told him that I wanted to be compensated with a Zaxby's fried chicken salad. He went in and came back out and said they were running low on lettuce, and that he could give me a wings 'n things. I took that when he finally came out again but it is not what I wanted. I am totally frustrated with this Zaxby's.

Zaxby's owner with no integrity.

When to Zaxby's drive thru in Thomasville GA on May 4, 2019. Entire drink was spilled in my car. After speaking with the owner (Tom Robison) and providing an estimate, the owner sent a $75 dollar. When professional, certified carpet cleaner said the red stains will not come out. I immediately called Tom Robison back to let him know and that I would like my carpet replaced since the stains will not come out. He said all he is doing is the $75. My argument was/is that my Mercedes Benz was in immaculate condition before coming to his establishment and he should be willing to make it right. I just want my carpet replaced since it can't be cleaned. I don't think I am asking for much.

Zaxby's manager treatment of employee.

Went for the first time around five Sunday, June2 2019. Ordered a chicken salad sandwich. A simple misunderstanding the clerk rang up a meal. No big deal. Easy fix. The poor young teen boy asked the manager for help. The manager was so disrespectful to the employee that I believe was new. It is in bad taste to acmonish an employee in front of customers. It was so disgraceful. This was at the Valley Station location. I hope you take this seriously. Look forward to a response from you.

Zaxby's food/service

Today, 6/1, we visited the thomas murphy dr Dallas GA location for dinner. I decided on trying the new salad that came out. my husband got his normal kickin chicken meal. order was a eat in order, was given in all to go boxes, ok no big deal we will just eat it here int he containers we got it in. The salad looked really good, until I found 2 lage pieces of a rock hard substance, at first i thought it was a few pieces of the bread (toast) crust, no that wasnt it. I have no clue what it was. I tried to put it out of my mind and eat it but after a few bite I couldnt eat it, not knowing what was in my salad. I took the salad with only a few bites out of it back to the counter, while waiting at the counter, and the male (cook) that kept staring at me while the girl who has her back to me kept talking to him, not knowing i was there. once i was acknowledged by the girl, the male kept staring at me. i picked up the two rock hard pieces and dropped them on the counter and stated that they were in my salad. was asked if i wanted another salad and told them NO, i wanted a chicken salad sandwich meal not toasted with no tomatoes. got a huff and puff attitude. i understood there was a price difference from what i originally ordered and what i ordered after getting a bad salad. meaning that the meal i ended up with was cheaper than the salad and also came with a soda which i had already ordered for an additional cost with the salad since the salad does not come in meal drink is extra. so i went to my seat and waited for my food to be done. I see the girl bring it to the counter and holds it up, (like here). i went up and got the meal, opened it up and low and behold Loaded with green tomatoes and toasted. I was done, wasnt going to go forward with this with the staff there. no manager in site. just horrible food and service. this location USE TO BE fantastic, the last two times we were there it was just horrible.
