Zaxby's - I am complaining about my free kids meal not being honored. And how rude the Manager was toward myself and the employees.

On Saturday July 17, 2021, I went to Zaxby's on Hwy 85 In Riverdale and placed my order via drive thru. I spoke very clearing when placing my order and asked for the Free Kids Meal last, to make sure this Zaxby's honored it. When I approached the window, I gave the employee my debt card and she handed it back to me with my receipt. I looked to make sure my free kids meal was honored and it WASN'T! I told her I was not supposed to charge for the kids meal, because I have the Zaxby Club special for a Free kids meal with a purchase of an adult dinner. I took out my phone and showed it to her. She said give me a minute and I will get the Manager to help me with your purchase. I gave her (Manager) my receipt and I said, I asked for FREE kids meal and she said I took your order and you didn't let me know it was free. I said maame, I specifically asked for Free Kids Meal at the end of my order. Then she said to me, No you didn't. So instead of arguing back and forth, I said to her do you need my credit card to remove the charge, she said yes and I gave it to her. She said the charge has been removed gave me my credit card and receipt and closed the window on me. Well needless to say the charge was not removed and she was very rude to me and the employees. Her name on my receipt was Kahmora. I do believe she was the Manager or Lead Person in charge that day. I think some people do not need to have roles when they are supposed to set examples for other employees.

Desired outcome: I want my free kids and maybe a gift card from Zaxby's for my next visit. Please go and interview the employees about this Manager and how she speaks to customers and employees.

I think you are absolutely right managers need to have roles and they need to set good examples for their employees I am an employee at zaxbys in alabama and the managers that fill in from different stores at zaxbys are rude and arrogant and awful
