We planned to construct a house in a Marysville township development
We planned to construct a house in a development located in Marysville township. The builder is Yingst, and we were in touch with their representative. We chose a property and a house design, began selecting home features, and discussed finances. The appraisal came in low, halting our plans. Advised to appeal, we agreed, but resolved to withdraw if the second appraisal was also low. It was, and since July, we've unsuccessfully requested our $6000 deposit back multiple times from both the builder and their unresponsive representative, who is often absent. We're still awaiting financial statements from Marysville township, promised six weeks ago.

We acquired a new residence from Yingst Homebuilders in Harrisburg, PA in April . Heavy rains in July led to basement floods, peaking at 16 inches of water. Post-flood, Yingst installed an additional sump at my expense. The basement remained dry until Hurricane Ida brought 3 inches of flooding. Despite dual sumps and pumps, the basement was vulnerable. Experts recommend an interior foundation drain to complement the existing exterior one. In our 23-home phase, 5 faced Ida flooding, highlighting the area's drainage issues. As of 10/25, Yingst has not addressed my repeated contacts for a resolution.
