Me and my hubby bought a leather couch, some custom chairs for our living room, a dining table with custom chairs, and some bar stools from Yaletown Interiors. Big shoutout to *** and *** for their amazing service and design skills with all our furniture. We're so grateful and would totally tell our fam and friends to check them out.

We spent a lot of money on furniture from Yaletown Interiors (Richmond) Ltd. Unfortunately, one of the legs on our dining table was damaged during installation. When I spoke to the owner about it, they refused to offer a refund or exchange the table. They also wouldn't exchange just the damaged leg. This has left our family feeling very frustrated and upset with their poor customer service.

I buyed a couch from Yaletown Interiors and I told them about the broke frame (3 places) just an hour after the couch was delivered. They said they would let me use the cost of the couch for another one in the store (I said no because the couch was really bad quality). I couldn't find a couch in the same price range at their store (the only one we kinda liked was $6000 more and we can't afford that). I emailed them asking for a refund on the couch and they haven't replied. Before this they would reply within an hour. It's been almost 48 hours and I haven't heard from the customer service person or the store boss.

I put a deposit on a chair on Jan. 23/23. The salesperson said it would come in 3 weeks. But it took 5 weeks and when I called, they said it would take 3 months because of the custom leather order. I never got a call or email from them and only got updates if I called. Once, they said there was a delay in the fabric so it would be a couple of weeks. I called today (14 weeks after I bought it) and they said it's delayed again and will ship next week. It seems like they don't update clients well. They say they have too many to update, but the salesperson hasn't taken responsibility either.

I bought 2 chairs from Yaletown Interiors 1455 United blvd Coquitlam BC on Oct 30, 2020. They said coz of Covid, it would take about 4 months to deliver. The maker was in US. I paid $2375.32 in total. I went to ask ETA in late Feb and they said 3-4 wks. On Apr 10 I went to store to ask again as not contacted by store, and they said to come on Apr 12 when manager present. On Apr 12 manager found one of the chairs in Delta warehouse. Chair delivered to my house Apr 17. They said 2nd chair would be delivered in a couple of weeks. With no phone call from the store, I returned in June & July, but the salesperson couldn't track the chair down. I returned to store Aug 5 and spoke with manager, who saw that the chair was shipped to Canada on July 28 and should be in Coq in 2 wks from then (Aug 11). As of today, Aug 23, I haven't heard anything. This store hasn't fulfilled its obligations and I'm seeking full refund.

I went to Yaletown Interiors on Nov 29/19 to buy a couch. The sales guy said I could get a custom-made sectional with a couch and loveseat I liked, but it would take 2-3 months for delivery. The sectional arrived on Apr 25/20, but it had 2 problems. The repair guy came to my house on June 13/20. It was hard to get him to listen to us, so we had to show him what was wrong. The hinges were put on wrong, so the pieces didn't fit together right and one leg didn't touch the floor. He wouldn't fix it. The second problem was loose material on the middle section, but he said it was normal. I went to the store to talk to the owner, but only talked to customer service. They agreed to send the tech back, and he brought another guy who found the hinge was upside down. He fixed it, but the loose material was still a problem. The other guy said the owner would call me, but he never did. I called the store twice, but they said the owner would call me back, but he never did. I paid almost $4000 for this sectional, but got bad work and no responsibility to fix it.
