Xbox Game Pass Amazing I love it! Just one problem…

So I have been using the game pass app for a while and I love it! It’s a great way for managing your games and it’s like the Xbox app except specifically for games you know you can install and it’s really convenient to install them to your console. I do have one complaint tho. I wish that this was just like a tab in the normal Xbox app. Bc I’m currently using three different apps for my Xbox: the Xbox app, the game pass app, and the cloud gaming app. I get that cloud gaming is technically a website that you add to your Home Screen, so I get why that’s a different app, but it’s really annoying when I have to open two different apps and remember what’s in each one when they both have such a similar purpose. I feel like it would be a good idea to just make this another tab in the Xbox app

Xbox Game Pass Well rounded, well managed

When GamePass came out I was skeptical at first due to trying Play Station’s version of monthly game subscription. Their version is a huge rip off. They are not choosing games that people want to play. That is not opinion, that is statically shown in numbers, and numbers do not lie. 3 months after being released I finally signed up and it was a great investment. I’ve been into games since the 1980s and I won’t ever let up. My two favorite things are anything active like being at the gym, paddle board, kayak, hiking, etc and the second is gaming. Im a huge RPG fan and the choices on GamePass are so great. The day one releases, the old titles, the games that you would never think would be on a subscription are there. I am and will forever be a fan. Great service and great team running it. Thank you GamePass employees.

Xbox Game Pass Nostalgia

Game Pass offers something special and exciting if you enjoy playing video games seriously. In recent years I have found myself to have beat most games I own and will just continually play multiplayer games such as (Rainbow Six Siege, GTA 5, Red Dead Redemption) and as amazing those games are after you play them for so long they will eventually become old. The game pass offers so many titles you may not even know where to start. From smaller indie games to massive triple A titles you won’t get bored any time soon with the game pass. So many games on the game pass I have always wanted to play but not pay for are now completely free and my finger tips. Not only do you get all the amazing perks of game pass with free games and perks but it brings back that true nostalgia of years ago when everything was so fresh and exciting with gaming!

Xbox Game Pass Semi-Superfluous…

I enjoy that I can mindlessly look through games when I’m out and about when I get bored. It seems insane that Xbox and Game Pass are different apps. They seemingly share a majority of their content. Also the game pass app doesn’t seem to actually sync with my console. I can remotely download games to the console(which I can already do with Xbox app), but it never can show progress or anything more. And whenever I’m in My Games it’s never correct. It’ll show three. The sad thing is I have 17 games and only five physical copies, in other words game pass installed 12 games on my system and is and isn’t aware of most. Microsoft apps are getting overwhelming. Bing & Edge? Bing on Edge? Xbox app & Game Pass app? It’s like your competing with yourselves. Regardless, smart tech that doesn’t properly communicate with other products from you guys. Better syncing is a must.

Xbox Game Pass I was iffy about GamePass but now

IM ALL IN! Let me start off by saying that I usually like to pay for my games, that’s just how I am. I loved the idea of GamePass but thought it just wasn’t for me as I buy titles that aren’t really offered in the GP (yet). I’m currently using the 14day pass that came with my elite controller but Microsoft can have my money thereafter lol. The way the quests & rewards are setup not only incentivizes the experience but has me playing games I wouldn’t normally play which I think is great.

Currently I’m using the app on a 5s while I’m waiting for my XS to be repaired and I can say the GamePass app is a delight to use. It’s easy and straightforward if you’re familiar with the xbox ui. It seems to be optimized for each of the respective devices which is a little thing but it shows Microsoft cares. They have themselves a nice little gaming ecosystem and I’m thrilled to be apart of it.

Xbox Game Pass Useful app, but wish rewards could be claimed in app

The app is easy to use. I like having access to the game catalog and the ability to queue downloads. There is really only one main thing lacking.

You can “claim” Game Pass Ultimate rewards with the app, but not really. When attempting to claim, you either are notified to claim directly on the console or get a code to either redeem on the console, Xbox.com or even worse, a website associated with the game you’re trying to redeem rewards for.
It would be better to just be able to redeem directly on the app.

This next thing is more about Game Pass and not just the app, but should be a feature added. There should be an option to have rewards available to all who use the main (home) console. There are rewards for games my son plays, but I don’t. My account linked to the subscription and all with accounts on the home console have access, however I am the only one who can claim and use rewards.

Xbox Game Pass Greatest Value in Gaming Paired with an Intuitive App

It’s no secret Xbox Game Pass is one of if not the greatest value in gaming right now. So it’s fitting Microsoft and their team at Xbox have delivered us an app that allows us to access and install games to our Xbox devices remotely. The game pass app is not only intuitive but surprisingly versatile in its use cases. Not only will it allow you to browse the game pass library but it will also allow for the remote installation of the games to your Xbox! The synergy between this app and your machine is further strengthened by the app letting you know how much storage space is available on your selected device and going so far as to let you delete games you aren’t playing anymore to free up space for the new arrival all from your smart phone or tablet! This is a great companion piece to a stellar service that has of yet not been rivaled. If you’d like for the transition between browsing games on game pass to playing them to be as seamless as possible, I’d strongly recommend installing this app!

Xbox Game Pass More than I could ask for

I don’t know what else to say except this goes beyond my expectations for any video game streaming service I couldn’t have imagined how well this is actually gone and proceeded to be a success. Technically I’m an older gamer and I’ve been playing for a long time I particularly love the fact I can play all the Metroid Vania style gamesOn my iPad or my phone.I think if I actually utilized all the different capabilities of the Xbox serviceIt could be a very fulfilling lifestyle including playing deep or shallow games and having deep or shallow relationships with people who play those games. Personally I play Xbox games mostly by myself but with all the new ways to engage other gamers I intend to build on my friend list and really get into this as a lifestyle. Xbox has clearly made it service top shelf, Class AAA,And I’m confident by the track record that it’s only gonna get better. keep it up Xbox,Much due respect For how well you treat your customers. What else can I say? Xbox game pass is the best.

Xbox Game Pass Great concept, poor execution

When I saw there was a game pass app for iPhone, I was instantly curious. What would such an app look like? I decided to give it a try, and liked what I saw. You can search the games library, browse by genre, view a list of games coming to and leaving Game Pass. You can even queue an install straight from the app, so it’s ready to play when you’re ready.

The reason I can only give it 3 stars? You cannot view “all games.” The option to browse the full library is there, and you’re able to click it. But I found that as I was scrolling, the app started to freak out. It kept listing dirt over and over again. I scrolled and scrolled until my screen went blank. I closed the app, reopened it. It did the same exact thing. I scrolled all the way to Z and started working my way up. At around S, it starting loading in the listing for Dirt, pushing everything down until I was back in D, looking at a full screen of Dirt.

If the app worked as advertised I would probably give it a 5/5. But, since “Browse all Games” is broken, it gets a 3.

Xbox Game Pass My full review on Xbox

Although I am disappointed in the fact that I can’t play a good marvel game like X-men or Spider-Man , i freaken love Xbox. Especially my new series s. It’s digital , which some say is a downer but nooooo. It’s a freaken plus trust me. My turtle beach 700s are freaken great. I have a couple diferant types of controllers I bought that I’m very found of.everything is built good and works great and I just don’t have any complaints. I grab a monthly game pass every month for 15$ and get everything I need to be entertained. I think game pass is a great deal at a great price with a lot of great perks. The graphics are great and if you think otherwise check your tv. I can’t wait for the new vanguard to come out! I love the controller colors. I have a lime green, a red, and a white. The colors of the controllers itself makes me want to just buy more controllers. The memory cards are expensive but maaannn who wouldn’t invest in somthing they love? Ima die hard Xbox fan for life and i truely thank you guys for giving me the best entertainment ever!

Xbox Game Pass You could do better

You’re Microsoft, this is next gen hardware now with the Series X, there’s a lot of other functionality you could add, I don’t have any suggestions, I don’t get paid the big bucks Microsoft money, but surely you got some great staff there in Redmond that have great ideas.

Like let me regulate bandwidth? That be swell, like 90% to streaming, while 10% goes to downloading? Or maybe Netflix the Gamepass for those of us who don’t have the internet bandwidth for say games over 50 gigs, like send us a disc, we can install it and send it back in a day or so? Open up a 360 archive?

Anyways, Xbox should be dominating the market but it seems PC software & PC hardware are number 1 priority and consoles are an afterthought. And apps on iOS are like a whatever good enough kinda thought.

Oh, and more asessories, peripherals, and contraptions to add to the series X, like let us use it more like a computer. Let us tinker, like it’s a hobby. (Which can be bought through the app)

And most importantly- affordability. I’m disabled and this Xbox is all I have.

I guess I went off topic of the app, but there’s a point in here somewhere.

Xbox Game Pass Good With Problems

I’ve used this app to see a lot of new games on Xbox game pass. It’s awesome! There are problems and suggestions I need to let you know about. When there are new games I want or games I found that are interesting, I try to install it through the app since I don’t have to turn on my Xbox just for that. But then it’ll tell me to get game pass when I already have it, then it wont even do the thing. That’s a big problem, otherwise it’s a great app and I recommend downloading this if you need it. I have a suggestion of adding a new intro to your app. When you enter, it would show the Xbox logo. I recommend changing it into your profile picture with Xbox logo and next to it saying “game pass”. That would be cool and useful. “How?” You may ask. Well when people are trying to go into the Xbox app it self, they might press on game pass and won’t know because they have the same intro. Then, they would think that it’s been changed for game pass only. (Which probably won’t happen) But if it does, that’s where you guys come in to change it. It’s better to know which app your going in so you don’t get confused. (I sound dumb but it may be true) That's all I suggest, anything else, I’ll let you guys know.

Xbox Game Pass It’s just good

I have been a XGP Ultimate subscriber since pretty much day one, and I love it! This app though, I honestly don’t use very often except to check my perks out to see if a specific game is on XGP. The app does what it says, but the reasons I’m rating it as 4 stars instead of 5, is that sometimes the remote downloading is totally unreliable. Other times it works but you can’t choose which storage to download a game to, so when you get home, you realize it’s on the wrong storage and have to move it. Which ends up not saving you any time, which defeats the purpose of remote downloading. The other reason it’s only getting 4 stars is because it’s just very okay. There’s not much great about this app. Honestly, I just wish they take this whole app, and stick it into a tab on the Xbox app. I use the Xbox app WAY more than I do this Gamepass app. And what surprises me is that a decent amount of my friends don’t use the Xbox app. Maybe if you combined this into that one, and promoted it a little more, more players would get the xbox app. idk, that last bit is just my opinion. Gamepass Ultimate is straight up amazing, and if I could only have one subscription, over Netflix, Disney+, Spotify, anything else, I would choose Xbox Gamepass Ultimate hands down! Thank you Xbox for all you do to keep our customer-ship! (idc if that’s not a word)

Xbox Game Pass Absolutely Fantastic!

I love Xbox Game Pass Ultimate as it’s a great reasonable price point for many fantastic gaming titles that especially if there’s any games I think I might enjoy but am not sure about and they are on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate I can try them out through game pass instead of wasting money on buying a game to add to my library that I’m not too sure about.

A great example of that being Star Wars:Jedi Fallen Order from 2019, where I’m a very casual fan of Star Wars who enjoys the movies and loves The Mandalorian series on Disney+ which sort of combines two of my favorite elements of film Sci-Fi and Westerns.

I know I just got into some Star Wars content that wasn’t gaming related but, I wanted you to know where I was coming from when I say that, I decided to jump into Star Wars:Jedi Fallen Order and I absolutely love this game and I wasn’t honestly even sure where the game took place until I looked it up and it takes place between episodes 3 and 4 of the movies.

This turns out to be my favorite game that so far since I’ve had game pass that I decided to take a chance on through game pass that otherwise I’m not sure I would have played it unless I could get it dirt cheap on a holiday season sale and to be honest, I may even buy it anyways to own it just to support EA for making a really fun Star Wars game which I can’t say as much for their most recent two Star Wars games which were battlefront 1 and 2.

Xbox Game Pass The best cloud gaming service ever created

I got an Xbox one S for Christmas in 2017/18. I logged onto it and started playing lego incredibles, donut county, fortnite, (yeah I know fortnite bad.) and other great games. My console was the Minecraft edition so it came with a download code for Minecraft, a code for 14 day trial of Xbox live gold, a 14 day trial of Xbox game pass, along with the console and Controller it self. I have a weird form of OCD that doesn’t let me use free trials unless I’m getting the product after the trial is over, so I never used my code for either service. About a month later, I wanted Xbox live gold so I could play Minecraft with my brother. It’s an amazing deal anyways so I forked out the money. I was still really hesitant about Xbox game pass. Every day it gets better and better so about 6 months after my Xbox entered my home, it broke. I was distraught as my dad couldn’t find any where to get the thing fixed. Now it’s 2020 and about 2 weeks ago we got a new Xbox. I logged on to my machine and saw the amazing deal known as Xbox game pass ultimate. It has an amazing price, and it includes the service it’s self, Xbox live gold, ea play, Disney+, and Xbox game pass for PC which also has amazing deals and EA play comes out on pc on the 15th of December . With this app, I get to download any games I want right to my console when I’m anywhere. This app is the cherry on top. It allows you to download games, redeem rewards, and much more. It’s truly a beautiful service with an amazing app.

TL;DR go get ultimate because you get amazing games, Xbox live, rewards, ea play on pc and console, xbox game pass for pc (Which has the full version of among us now) and so much more.

Xbox Game Pass Hardware rules emotions

The Xbox one x is the most powerful crisp experience I’ve ever had and is the easiest to use dashboard wise it also utilizes both pc and console with ultimate and makes Nintendo switch obsolete lol especially if u have a touch screen computer . It also has titles that are able to run in (actual 4K ) and doesn’t ever go below 60 FPS . The reviews of negativity are people who are going to get a ps4 slow that makes more noise without the better hardware (processor power)lol
Most games on ps4 are on Xbox except god of war and spider man lol uh oh . Also the Xbox game pass is phenomenal with being able to download actual classics and doom is a better game with an actual processor that can handle it . The graphics are highly better and more crisp and is by far until it’s new Xbox release the best console on the market. Every game in this era looks better and runs better on a Xbox one x . I have every console and Xbox is the only joy I get . A fun fact pawn shops and game stops always out of Xbox one x and pawn shops gobble them up because they are getting limited because of there popularity . Switch and ps4 slow are no competitor and American muscle is Microsoft . Also more compatible with your iPhone and phone period . The quality of playback for blue ray is flawless and most pc accessories are compatible with Microsoft because it’s made by them lol . U can purchase a Xbox battery for your controller so if your battery dies u don’t have to get a new ps4 controller lol. No fan boys or opinions can stop pure power and better hardware. Games are exclusive because the other company is desperate and needs to bribe u to get the console. Get your thermal paste and fans for your ps4 slow ready lol . Spending money on a console spend on the best if u gonna spend 300 plus dollars. Oh and Microsoft I’d like that gold Xbox one x when ever your ready lol . Star Wars battle front 2 on Xbox one x is flawless btw like u in the movie lol . Don’t drink the butt hurt koolaid of the lesser powers of the gaming world . Sony makes good stereos though and canceled there pc program in US because Microsoft intimidated them lol. If Xbox and Sony used same parts they would be the same but they aren’t . Enjoy that review and take it to the bank to get your new Xbox one x !

Xbox Game Pass It is okay

Lack of great games for the price of a month three months or a year. And you all wonder why the xbox as a whole has failed every generation! Would be nice to play better games for what we pay othr then subpar crap games that feel unfinished. Wonder why most spend time on sony’s variant on ps4 cause they give us way better games and content and good exclusives which xbox does not have for a plethera of reaso s (weak consoles like xbox fail x) phil spencer is an idiot and knows nothing of this industry and or what we want hence a failed xbox done consoles.

Xbox Game Pass Games they give are not worth it

You are better off saving 60bucks and getting a game you like. These are all games that have come through the free with gold rotation or games nobody really wants to play. Yeah it’s got gta5 but that game is years old. I’m canceling my subscription. I’ll just buy the little 5 dollar games they offer if I happen to want any (I doubt I ever will)

As far as the app goes, I geuss it’s solid if your one of those people that likes an app for everything but it’s really not necessary . Just take a price of paper and right games ” I don’t want” on it and stare at it. Same thing.

Xbox Game Pass This app needs a lot of work

Every time I login - every single time - the application tells me my account has been actively suspended. I had a suspension once for a single day nearly 15 months ago. After no less than 11 attempts with tech-support I still see this issue. There is nothing on my account to indicate that my account is actively suspended. Every single time I login the application tells me my account has been suspended. This is the case on windows, apple, android, and iOS. There are other practical user interface problems with the app, as well as the communications platform is buggy at best.

Xbox Game Pass Not available for IOS

I’ve tried over several different iOS devices only to find out that you can’t use cloud gaming on iOS only android. I see a lot of 5 star reviews mention being able to install remotely but that’s already a feature for the Xbox app. This app is meant for cloud gaming, remote install is a side feature. On my VERY old android I can download this app connect my controller and play many titles with no delay and its seamless! Not on iPhone though you’ll have to suffer and watch your friends with androids play freely while your stuck at home on your console. Apple has fallen so far

Xbox Game Pass Laggy, glitchy mess

Not only is the app incredibly laggy and glitchy (like when you scroll down, the screen doesn’t move at first, then after a few seconds it tries to ‘catch up’ and starts glitching towards where you scrolled, lagging and stuttering the whole way). On top of that, my account received a suspension over a year ago and the app still flags every time I open it saying “your account is suspended”, despite the suspension being long over with. Overall, this app clearly wasn’t meant to be user friendly, or useful at all for that matter. The devs definitely don’t care enough to make a functional app.

Xbox Game Pass EA Play causing issues

Due to Microsoft refusing to add an option for adding a game to the play later list for anything but the main page, I tried to use the app to view all the games, but this is somehow even worse. Anytime I scroll past around C the ea play games multiply into 5-15 copies of themselves eventually crashing the list into not showing anything from how they keep creating new copies of themselves. Game pass is a great value now that they’ve finally added ea play after the delay in January, but the service as is seems to have no human beings testing its features and usability on anything besides console.

Xbox Game Pass Why

Why did Xbox remove gta 5 from game pass and replace it with red dead. I think it’s stupid that I can’t buy gta 5 so i get it for free while also having mw and bo3 both 100 gb and all the sudden Xbox puts another 100 gb game on the game pass for gta and if I can’t get gta with my money do you think I can get a 1 tb storage card and let’s just hope the Xbox mini fridge can hold more than 300gb of storage also I does help that have to pay 60$ every year for live on top of all that and I am 14 not old enough to get a job so I have to beg my parents for money or get it every year for Christmas or my birthday

Xbox Game Pass Everything works wellish but sorting is garbage

Why oh why do the sortings shift? Why do they change? Even worse why do they change while the app is open so you see something that catches your eye and it disappears and cannot be found again.

Seriously, when I go in the app I want to see three selections: 1) Recently added, 2) Coming soon, 3) Leaving soon. Put those three at the top, and have them always available. Sometimes you go in to see coming soon for half a second then the screen refreshes and the section is removed. Then after those three put whatever fluff ones you want.

Remote install is totally hit or miss for the console but works on my PC. Whatever.

Xbox Game Pass Xcloud

Well let me start off with the app is great but I’m just annoyed that I can’t stream games on my phone form my Xbox instead it just says download on Xbox. Now I did get an update but it was just bug fixes and had nothing to do with Xcloud so Microsoft if you reading this ask Apple to add Xbox streaming to the App Store or make it so that there is a mode that can switch to gaming mode which is where you stream your game but other than that the app is great. Oh and before you say you have to register I tried to do that but it just kept saying buy game pass when I already have game pass unlimeted so ya... please fix this.

Xbox Game Pass Baffling quest system deadlines, bad console management

App doesn't make it clear that the rewards system will randomly go offline in the middle of the last day of the month. If the team needs downtime please just communicate the actual schedule and don't give misleading "available through X date" in the app for quests.

App has the worst console interactions. Less reliable than remoting into the machine directly and managing games that way. Less reliable than the Android game pass app. Less reliable than the web interface.

Between these two issues, this app is really close to pointless. If the Xbox interface could use touch controls remotely, this app would probably garner 10 total users.

Xbox Game Pass What are you doing Apple?

Please allow cloud gaming to be available like it is on android. This app is the best app that could possibly exist on the App Store and you are hurting everybody in the Xbox community. We want to use your platform to cloud game nativity from the app not a web browser. Please reconsider making a deal between you and Microsoft similar to what you did with Amazon in order to allow cloud gaming to exist on the App Store. That would be my dream and most others dream who are gamers. Otherwise you are missing a huge market that want to play games anywhere on any Apple device especially for me Apple TV and not physically possible with today’s mobile hardware on your platform.

Xbox Game Pass Decent

I am a game pass user due to COVID-19 and not being able to sleep some nights. Since March 19th I’ve downloaded less than 5 games on this platform for either my wife, child, or myself to indulge in. I’ve played through one game, played another consistently, and downloaded another previously played game from the 360 console. The later of the three was then deleted from the service without notice. I’m seriously considering deleting the services as it is not much of a benefit for my family. It would be nice if when they add a game for them to leave it there to be played instead of ripping the game off the service for people who paid for the game not to be able to enjoy it.

Xbox Game Pass Its impossible to cancel

Have a feature is great when you can control it. I’ve sat three hours and I couldn’t navigate the Xbox website to cancel my subscription. Not that I didn’t like the app . I just felt like spending my money on other things. After three hours my only result was knowing that if the payment was missed the subscription would be canceled. The payment was a week about and because I couldn’t manually cancel it I withdrew my money of my card. A WEEK LATER and I wake up to find the subscription fee on my transactions. I want it canceled and it’s more like a financial virus. 1 stars because I’m pretty tech savvy and I’m having way to much trouble just trying to cancel a payment. Very unsatisfied!

Xbox Game Pass Worst update every

I can not login to my old Xbox app account on my phone and on my iPad it make me sign in to my account every 10 seconds. It made me make a new account and had me use the same email for both accounts and I can not connect my Xbox’s to my account the app made me make when trying to sign into my already exiting account. Also I wish you never did the last update for the app it was the worst thing you have every done for your apps and made it for I can not talk to my friends on my phone to each other through the Xbox app. Can you just make it for all of the users can use the app before the update even happened because this latest update was the worst update every. I used to like the app but now I hate the app

Xbox Game Pass Exceptional but severely flawed

In my experiences with about the past year of owning game pass on my Xbox, I have concluded that it really just isn’t worth it. The idea is there, and it’s a great one too, but the quality games just aren’t there. I don’t think that these cheap indie games are worth the money that I pay monthly as I just don’t work enough hours to have all that cash just lying around with school and everything. There just aren’t enough hot titles on here to make me feel like I’m getting my money’s worth. Sure there are some good games, but those only last a little while. Ngl I feel like I’m getting kinda screwed on the deal. But I gave two stars instead of one because I think the idea is there and I do really like State of Decay 2.

Xbox Game Pass Trash

Leave it to Apple to make everything trash. What is the point of this app when you can’t use it for cloud gaming and you need to add the website to your home? The cloud gaming on this platform is absolute garbage. I can play anything on my android PHONE with zero issues. I try to play on here and the audio will cut out and the game eventually crashes. Same exact game and Wi-Fi network that I have no issues on with everything else. On android it takes two seconds to game and have fun and Apple makes everything miserable. After all of that and I still cant play the game because it’s laggy and crashes. This app is pointless. How it has almost 5 stars is beyond me and must be from people who have never used a high quality software.

Xbox Game Pass Awful

This version on iPad seems only to manage it all, I have the app on my phone, and it lets me play things, not everything, I would like for it to be everything, can’t more than just game pass, like games I own not from game pass, but on this... my bigger screen that would be awesome to play things on, YOU CAN’T PLAY THE GAMES! On phones it’s difficult because when you move a lot of the prior screen is still on the screen and it’s all blurry, has problems with internet connection, it would be perfect if you got rid of those, but point is, the app is on my big IPad and I CAN’T PLAY THE STINKING GAMES. I’m gonna redownload, but if I can’t play anything... I’m deleting till it happens... and I won’t suggest this version to anyone.
