Had a great home inspection! Chris was very knowledgeable and very personable! Chris provided great information to me as a first time home buyer in some of the overlooked aspects of home ownership. He prepared a very timely, thorough, and insightful report. I would recommend Wiemann Home Inspection to anyone purchasing a home!

The inspection that was done was a VERY thorough home inspection! They looked for things that no one what have ever thought of! One example, they had a picture of one door knob installed properly, and a door knob in another room installed upside down. I'm incredibly pleased with the service they performed! Would definitely recommend them!

Mark was a great home inspector...he talked to me about the house, showed me some important things to know and be aware of. He was very professional and courteous...His review was delivered very timely and he responded quickly to a question that I posed. Would be happy to recommend him to anyone. We are in the process of home purchase and hired David Spratte as our home inspector. David was very professional and great at his job. He was very teacher-minded and we learned a lot about the condition of the house and general maintenance for the house. He is also very diligent in documentation on the report. My home inspector, Dave Spratte, was exceptional! He was attentive to my questioins/concerns and did a very thorough inspection! Dave was prompt with his report and took extra time to answer any additional questions I had. In addition, the office personnel of Julie and Jay were prompt to resolve a question. I'm in the process of purchasing a new condo. My realtor suggested Wiemann, stating he had very good experiences with them in the past. The appointment was lined up immediately and 36 hours later I was with Chuck Wiemann while he did a VERY thorough inspection. I received the emailed inspection report that evening. Brad did a home inspection for in Mason City. I live out of state so could not see the house in person. The on the outside and inside looked great. Brad did the inspection and found so many serious issues with house electrical and plumbing that it pretty much need both completely redone. He saved me a ton of money finding these issues and few others and I walked away from the house. His report was very detailed and easy to read and follow with many pictures of any problem areas.

The entire process, start to finish, was simple, professional and enjoyable. Everything from the scheduling process to communications to execution was well thought out and easy. Being experienced in home construction and buying a home that is only 4 years old, I hesitated to go through the inspection process, but I'm so glad I did. They found things I didn't even think to look at, and it gave me a third party written document that helped me in getting repairs taken care of by the seller without a hassle. You're not going to find a better option out there and I can't recommend them enough.

Recently, I got the honor of working with Chuck Wiemann on a personal level to inspect a homy my family is purchasing. He took time, even though we are purchasing a newer home, to make sure all our concerns were addressed. He shared his wisdom with us in a way that made us feel like we could accomplish anything. After I moved into my new house I bought a new washer/dryer. When they were delivered I was told something was wrong with the water hook up for the washer line (it was stripped or something so they didn't want to mess with it). They suggested I call a plumber (which could take days). Granted I sold my old washer/dryer and it was sitting on a trailer in my driveway. Anxiety starts. That's when I said to him what if I shut off all the water to the house? He said that might work. So I venture down into the basement and think, "I have no idea where the water shut off valve is?" Anxiety rises in my blood again. I look around and it seemed like there were six thousand valves, but then I found a nice looking tag that said "Wiemann Home Inspection : House Water Shut Off Valve". God bless! I was saved. Wiemann Home Inspection... the gift that keeps on giving. Washer was hooked up in the next 15 min and they were out the door. Felt like a boss all because of that little tag. Smile.

I recently purchased a home and wanted to get a thorough inspection done before closing. I proceeded to Google the best home inspection companies around the Des Moines Metro. Wiemann was one of the first to pop up, I then read the reviews on Google and Facebook. I was happy with the results. Following that I called and asked about scheduling a home inspection which they had an open time slot that fit my schedule within the following week, we scheduled the appointment and I immediately got an email inviting me to sign the agreement and a scheduling reminder. I also got an email a day before just to remind me again of my upcoming inspection. The inspector Mark arrived the next day on time and started the inspection. I got the inspection report emailed to me the same day at about 11PM which I was thrilled with. I did not expect to get it back for a couple of days. I opened my 40 PAGE report and was blown away at the quality of work and time put into my personalized home inspection. Wiemann did an excellent job. I also had some questions on the inspection so I reached out to my inspector and had an thorough answer within 30 minutes of sending an email. I will definitely recommend them to anyone and plan to use them in the future for any of my home inspection needs! A++++ quality
