Whitepages review - OK don't laugh. Im am not the most computer savy person and have just discovered this site where you can look up anyone for free. It is really neat because it not only lists their phone # and address but it will also give you a map and aerial photo of where they live! Too Cool

This company is a scam. They took advantage of me while I was out of state and had a death in our family.

I was trying to find my dad's oldest sister and apparently signed up and/ or didn't cancel on time. When I realized in December 2016 I was being charged I called and explained and was told it would be cancelled and refunded. They were courteous. I thought it was the end of it.

Recently, in a review of my finances and checking account while applying for a mortgage, my credit union alerted me that I'd had SIX MONTHS of charges. SIX MONTHS of $29.95 for a service I didn't want and cancelled- or was told it was. Now I call and was told that I signed up and it's all valid. I pressed and the representive blamed me and said well, we send a cancellation email and if you don't have one, you must not have called and it's not cancelled.

After disputing this repeatedly, she agreed to cancel and credit back two of the six months. I did not want that but I accepted it, and received my cancellation emails. So what did I get in return? The very next day, I had two months of credit and ANOTHER $29.95 charge.

A SEVENTH month charged. I called and another rep said well, you ordered this 10/3/16 so your May payment had already been processed. I tried to explain that the rep never mentioned that at all and I was continually blamed. I was told they creditors me two months, April and May.

I said look, I would not have agreed to another charge, that is absolutely wrong and riduculous, to be honest. Their CSR continued to spin his 'we can verify your IP address when you signed up'. I was appalled. I should not have to explain again and the rep basically blamed me for the fact that THEIR company doesn't show I called.

I'm filing an official complaint with my credit union and they are going to pursue this as fraud. I'm also calling an attorney and have complained on their website. I'll be reporting them to everything I can. I explained I don't even have a home phone and I know how to look up phone numbers for free, I did it for my job in a hospital billing office for YEARS!

I would NEVER pay $30 per month to search for a phone number.

This is how they make their $, prey on people, count on them to make a mistake, blame them for their mistake and then make it as difficult as possible to cancel, all the while continuing to withdrawal the payment out of my bank. I'm going to change my account number I've always had and I'm livid that it has come to this.

I received a letter dated 2-`14-2024 from the public administrator 4th judical district court of El Paso and Teller Counties of Colorado. Looking under my name Linda D Sander of Fergus Falls, MN and Dale D Sander of Colorado Springs, Co it on the internet it states we are related. This is a legal matter concerning this person, what is at issue I don't know.

I was married to Oscar George Sander who was a 2nd cousin to this person.

I am not related nor have I even met this person. I had to include names so that the corrections could be made.

My husband, Thomas W Biddiscombe died Jan 2021. Searches on whitepages.com have always been successful until now. To remove "a listing associated with your identity" one must contact info. Whomever did this committed identity theft & whitepages.com is complicit in this crime by not properly vetting the person who requested this removal.

White pages.com list my ex-husband living at my new address. this is incorrect. please fix this.

I believe my ex is using my new address to establish credit

I am receiving mail from an unknown person because my address is listed as that person's address on white pages.

The person who has my address listed as theirs is Terry D Cornell

My address and the address fraudulently listed for the above person is 20823 May Showers Circle, Houston, Texas 77095

I do not know this person. My name is John Cornell. The above person is not my relative and is completely uknown to me.

I canceled my acct in May 2023.whitepages keep taking payments of $19.99 from my bank acct. They owe me a refund of $39.98. Actually they owe me for May 2023 also. But since I cant get a response, I wasnt going to pursue refund for Mat. I've emailed them more than several times to no avail. Im a senior on limited income and would like my refund please.

My name is Amy Lee Walker. I live in Ozark Alabama. I contacted White Pages by phone and by email, to have my name listing and the false information removed from White Pages listing.

I spoke to a representive/Agent name Adrian Tomlin on 04/20/2023, and he sent me an email requesting the URL, my address and phone number. I sent the URL.. White pages have the URL, so, why do they need any other information? Can't no one remember every phone number or cellphone number. White Pages contact support is still playing games. On April

19th is when I first contacted White Pages Support, to remove my name and information from White Pages, the ticket number #3200501. I don't know none of those people listed as my relatives

on White Pages.

My last name is not Kelly. I don't know where White Pages gets their information from. To me, it's fraudulent activity when not getting permission from Consumers first-hand.

I had a reason to look up a phone number today to make sure who owned it, so I typed in whitepages.com and hit return. I was surprised when a lot of data appeared that I knew was related to a scammy site I had used before that took me some time to get rid of. Investigating I discovered that when I typed whitepages.com it got automatically changed to the following:

While I don't remember the site I had been on before, but allowing whitepages.com to be affected could be a problem. Which apparently has happened from the comments I've seen. As this was supposed to be a public and useful site related to the phone company allowing this action to continue puts a negative light on whitepages.com and something should be done. While I'm not sure if what happened is because I'm using Brave as my browser i can say I've used it for several years and never had anything like this happen before.

From the middle of October 2022 I've been getting emails almost daily from white pages.com that I am searching for people I am not searching for. I don't even have a white pages account. Someone is pretending to be me and searching for people under my email. Potentially, perpetrator of crime against another could be setting you up. White pages contact phone number is only 6 numbers.

I am the owner of a condo unit. I am living with a family member who is 92 years old. I found their website listing two people with names that we don't know and have never lived in my condo unit. One is 50s year old and the other is 60s.

I want their names and phone numbers removed from the search result of my address. It is okay that Whitepages and 411.com do do not list my name because I have opted out from people search sites. But I think they should have mentioned "Name of owner or tenant not shown due to opt out"

I tried to call them to fix the problem but their phone numbers don't work.

Using their opt out feature is no use for removing the names of the two people who don't live in the condo unit that I own because I cannot opt out on their behalf.

Recently checked my personal information on whitepages.com and discovered the posting of false information under my name. Specifically, criminal information as follows:

“Embezzlement - Agent Or Trustee $20,000 00 Or More —5/15/2014 - Michigan Wayne, Mi”

I have NEVER committed any crimes and NEVER resided in Michigan. Please remove this information immediately.

I sined up for whitepGes to get myga4deners phone number because his cell phone stop working the month before and the number for his home that you had listed was invalid and/or nolonger in service. I never signed up for premium service and could not find your number to cancel the service my paypal is charging me 21. 56 from your premium services that i can not sign into. Even though I have a Premium account, I tried to do a reverse phone number check which used to work. Now however I was asked to pay for a report, so I did. When I tried the same reverse phone number check, I was again presented with the option to pay for the report. I figured it was going to use up the one report credit I just bought, but instead charged me for another report. I now have two report credits, spent about $40, and still don't seem to have a way to use those credits to retrieve the kind of information I used to get for about $5 a month.

Between this and automatically monitoring any name I search and sending me emails about it that I don't want, I am SICK of Whitepages.com and want my money back for the two report credits I can't seem to use.

On 1/13/2022 I got out of bed and turned my phone on. The first thing I saw was an Online Ad for the Whitepages, by the Whitepages. It was advertising my name. my previous marriage name, my daughters address and an invitation to her Social Media Accounts.
This is a violation of privacy civil and every other right. Not to mention how dangerous that is for women.
I have had to change my phone number and Im frightened in my own home and even going outside scares me.

Do not give or sell my information

My membership with your pathetic service was cancelled prior to 8/4. they attrempted to bill me and the charge was denied because of it being cancelled. On 8/4/21 they illegally charged me and stole $5.29 from me. The membership was cancelled and I demanded my money back. They told me they would refund it and I have emails to prove this. they have stopped replying to my emails and are totally in the wrong. I have all the emails from them saying they intended to refund my money but have failed to do so.

I'm managing a Old Age Frail care centre accommodating 82 residence. In April 2021 I received an email from White Pages Telephone Directory 2021.. which was a one page document with our business name & details pre-typed in large font & details in the footer section in a smaller font so small, you can hardly see it even when reading with my glasses... the entire wording in the footer area so tiny including pricing written fully and not in numerical numbers...

My understanding was that this is the normal details for telephone directory services, because it also listed the Free Telkom 1023 option.

In the 2nd week of May 2021 I received an invoice from the same company charging us R9999... I expected a cost because I'm aware that nothing is free but was shocked to get a bill of R10 000... I received a call from a consultant and I told her this advertising is misleading and I think they are very sly the way the created their document and that they can delete us from all the publication to advertise our contact details, we are not interested in the offer... at the end of July I received another statement indicating that we owe them R11 500, and then in Aug I get a statement indicating I owe them R14 000 and have been handed over to ITC... Today I received another email showing I owe White Pages R22 880 for advertising our number on the 1023 Free Telkom No & Telephone Directory... Surely this cant be right, these people are dishonest and are taking advantage of institutions and surely their must be something I can do to not been taken advantage like this

they say they will remove your information even if you are California resident and you fill out the form ccpa for privacy they don't care they do publicity with your name to attract customers they should check what they are really doing to customers they don't respect your privacy plus the customer service is in India how can my information is on the other side of the world crazy very crazy what this people do to humanity sell your identity that's why you have millions of identity thief's every minute for this junk please u, s government don't allow this clowns work please

I just pulled myself up on whitepages and you have all kinds of [censored] wrong about me! What gives you the right to give out false information. You are looking at a class action lawsuit! Where in the heck do you get your information from! I want my profile taken down and off of whitepages.com! And I want to know how to get it off of your website. People should be able to sue you for giving out this wrong information - and even the correct information. I do not want my phone number and address plastered all over your website, whether it is the right one or the wrong one. Please respond.

The website is a scam. I tried to get two number lookups and after the first which showed no information, the system kept telling me it could not change my account and told me to call customer service. I tried about 4 times. I finally got the thing to work using a different membership and in my account it had $100 worth of charges that I assume were when it was telling me to call customer service and charging me.

Shame on this company. SCAM. I refuted charges with bank.
