I didn't receive the merchandise from this company. I have never heard of them until I pulled up my credit report.

I just spoke to a Melvin at National Recovery, requesting a statement for the charge that is on my credit report. Explained to him I do not know who they are and what it was about. Requesting if statement could be e-mailed or fax was flat out told NO! Then he said he was ending this phone call. VERY RUDE! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! If I don't have my letter by February 5th I will be calling back!

I have the same thing on my report, it's for $92.00 dollars. I never got a bill from West Bay or National Recovery, that would have been nice to know. It seems strange that, so many people (on this site and others) just all of a sudden had this on their credit report, underhanded

Haha you people amaze me. I had the same thing happen to me but instead of sitting in denial I recalled back to joining BMG and Columbia House. You all know you did it so just pay your bill and shut up! WE all thought we were getting away with free cds but a serious debt collector bought our accounts. OH WELL!

Ditto on the same complaint. Found it on my credit report. $77 charge for something I never received nor received a bill for from either Westbay or the debt collection agency National Recovery. If anyone out there was successful in making this go away on the credit reports, please share it!

I just received an item on my credit report regarding West Bay Aquisitions. I called National Recovery and they found nothing on their record pertaining to me but when I disputed it through Equifax, Equifax claimed the debt was verified and belonged to me. I am sending National Recovery a certified letter so I can create a paper trail and then I am going to sue them if they do not correct this bogus claim.

I pulled up my credit report just to see if I had anything on it, I did, it said I owed West Bay Acquisitions $70. I never heard of this place. I see a law suit coming on.

I just received a letter in the mail from National Recovery Agency stating that I owe West Bay Aquisitions over 65dollars for CD's that I have never ordered. They said that I ordered them back in 2006 and I wasn't even living back with my mom at that time. I tried to call National Recovery Agency and the hispanic gentleman I talked to stated that he had no number for me to call West Bay Aquisitions and that he had never heard of them either and that I needed to look them up online and take the matter up with them...

I pulled up my sons, who is 17, credit report and this was on it. He would have been 16 had he purchased ANYTHING LIKE THIS. People are ruining his credit before he is even 18. I just happened to look his name up b/c he wants to join the army. He should'nt even be getting credit as a minor. Now I have to take time out to deal w/ this. I am very angry

I have never heard of them either from a company that I never even ordered from, they are saying that I ordered 4 CD's for $21 a piece, that is something I would NEVER do! And they gave me the dates of the order and the address it was sent to, they said I ordered 4 CD's in 2006 sent to an address that I didn't move till, till Sept 2007? something sounds extremely fishy, and the guy I talked to was more than obliged to give me information on how to dispute it, sounds like a scam to me? and I never received anything in the mail? Be cautious when you see this on your report, looks like fraud to me!
