Weedmaps is a website where Cannabis businesses can advertise. We recently tried to downgrade our account a few days before we were billed. Weedmaps told us that they have a rule that account changes need to happen 5 days before billing. We didn't know about this rule before. When we mentioned that our account manager, who we tried to replace, doesn't respond to emails, they didn't care and still charged us $6,500. We refused to pay, but they kept our advertising up in a prime spot and won't remove it no matter how much we ask. We're a small business with only two owners and one employee, so we could really use some assistance.
