I enjoy the stories I read and the fact that we can get free reading coupons each day and collect enough points to read a chapter.y only complaint is the customer service.

At some point I collected 18 reading coupons and for whatever reason I couldn’t use them all so they all expired! Yes I was disappointed and very upset. When I asked the customer service chat why this was their only answer was that only certain stories accept the reading coupons or can only limit 1 coupon per day which I knew was a lie because at that time I was only rotating between 3 stories where I was able to use at least 10 coupons a day for 1 story!

At least be consistent in the information providing your customers who love and enjoy this app. Get it together people!

I’ve been using this app for quite sometime and rarely have any problems with it which is nice. Last night I read a few chapters before I went to bed, my log in was at 9 days, since I forgot one day to log and my 129 days were gone T-T had almost 8700 points and now I have 0, zero, zip, nada. The chapters I read are locked, my log in count is 0. I thought that maybe was the update, but even so I still have that problem. Just the thought that I have to start from scratch again make me just want to forget about it and delete the account. It was months that I’ve been logging and playing the adds and doing the daily missions so I could save up some points so I could read at my pace without worrying if I’m going to run out of points to now have nothing :/

It was easy to get points before the previous update, but it's impossible now. There were so many options. There were three suggested comics that you could read for points, an option for sharing on Facebook, and even novels. Now it's only ads and reading/time spent on the app. I can't afford to buy coins and now I can't keep up with my stories. I don't have enough coupons to read them... it takes me days to get enough points to even exchange them for coupons. I miss the old system. Another thing that is wrong with the app is the unlocking of an episode through an ad. Even though the square will turn blue (saying I can watch an ad to unlock it) it won't let me. It just loads endlessly, and I have to close the app. Please change it back or make some much needed improvements.

I give it a one cause it’s annoying that you have to have coins to buy chapters. All you see in the comments is “use this code” like bro. Also it forces you to pay money to buy tickets to read...
Also the translators are really lazy and aren’t really good at correcting mistakes..
the quality of the comics are good but sometimes they’ll have the cover specially designed to make it look good but in reality it’s not so good of a drawing.
To add on, the comics are off topic, the title will say something but the main topic will be different and will change. At least if the comic is going off topic, don’t be lazy and just add more. End it and make a comic about the topic!

I get these are kind of the authors fault but just letting you guys know. Besides that the app is really nice, some comics are beautiful pieces of art!❤️

My issue is with the Ad’s.
Apparently, I have to pay or read other manga’s to be able to read at least 2 minutes of my whole life. Those two minutes of my life were wasted on ad’s and manga but, soooo worth it!
So, my point is that I can’t watch ad’s to pay off my points. Literally, if I wanted to read or finish a EP I would have to watch an ad if I didn’t have enough points. I couldn’t buy coins since they were too expensive. Here’s the catch: I can’t. I couldn’t watch any ad’s. It’s either read other manga’s or buy coins which I don’t either of those choices. I’m worried that y’all just want my money and not let m watch any ad’s since, you have to pay the authors. I get it but, you didn’t have to stoop so low for mr to pay for this. I just want you to fix my issue with the ad thing and get this over with, that is all I ask for.

I found this app by trying to read a specific manga. I found and read it, after reading about 15 chapters, it asked me to use coins. I was like okay besides the fact u have to buy them(cuz a lot of manga/webtoons ask for it) I wanted to use the point system. After getting points, I tried to use them to unlock a chapter. But it didn't work. After re opening the app, it automatically worked. U should make a button for the point system. After running out of points I watched adds. But then the next day, it wasn't unlocked anymore, for both the point system and the adds. And after refreshing the app or even re opening to that comic, it would take me to several previous chapters, then what I left off on. It's not worth having the app anymore. I'm sry but it's the truth. If u can change it, I will greatly appreciate it and might download this again.

There are many better apps out there. I only tried this because I thought soul land was ahead on manga toon by 186 chapters but I wasted my free chapters because 260 on another app is far, far ahead of where the current 386 is on this app. Then there is the pay wall. Why is anyone paying for these coins and stuff and working so hard to get points to unlock stuff? You can literally just go to other apps that have subscription options or they have ads in place that are pretty non-disruptive in the middle of chapters. To read a 400+ chapter manga on here I’d have to spend 40 bucks or spend hours earning points. Why do that when I can just go read it somewhere else with ads/subscriptions for like 7-10 dollars. I get that you’re trying to pay translators and stuff which is good, but this business model isn’t going to work as well in comparison to other manga reading apps.

So I found this app a while ago and I rly did become addictive for me. So I user it daily and then there was an upgrade of course me being me I upgraded the app. Before I ever upgraded the app I will get coupons (technically money to unlock episodes with) a lot like I will have like 110 and I will be keeping up with how I used them and on what books I’ll use them in so things where great. But after I upgraded things weren’t so well like I started to loose my coupons real quick and they will be harder to get for some reason. Btw there’s a daily check in (which I check in everyday) that gives u coupons if u check in so u did and its not letting me get through the week. I now have like 5 coupons and yes I have coins but I would rather using my coupons instead. So that kinda made me upset and it’s kinda annoying so that’s the only problem with it other than that the app is great. So I rate a 4/5

I never like using comic readings apps because I know you will have to buy coins to unlocks chapters (that’s not even long enough). I enjoy this app but I wish they have more ways you can earn reading coupons or coins. Sometimes I’ll be able to watch an add(just one 30 sec add for a small page of the comic ‍♀️‍♀️) or earn coupons when somebody uses my code( you can’t even share your code in the comment sections) but other than that you’ll probably be able to read one page of your favorite comic a day( which isn’t very satisfying. The translations are sometimes off and confusing. Again, I wish the developers give the readers more chances to read (for free).

Edit: I don’t want to compare but WebComics gave readers many different opportunities and ways to earn coins, I think if there were more ways to earn coins, the app would be perfect! :)

ALSO: I would like the comment section to be fixed please. It a little bit laggy :(

This apps has really gave me the confidence as a writer. Before I got this app I never really thought I was any good at writing. The community on this app is great for newbies. They encourage and critique in a helpful way. But I’m not saying that there is nothing that I don’t like on this app because there is. The first thing is the points. It’s really hard to have enough points every time you go to read something because if you constantly read like I do you run out really fast and then have to watch videos or complete goals to get the points you need. I’m not saying that there shouldn’t be points though because they help pay the writers but, it would help if you could do a process like Webcomics. Another thing is if you are going to post a update to your story it can sometimes take weeks for it to finally be passed. It makes it really hard to have a scheduled update for your stories. Even with these flaws it is an amazing app and I would really recommend getting this app.

Okay The quality is great, the stories are great but you will never get to finish a story because they’re locked and you have to pay and get this it’s not cheap you’re better off buying the book they have some free books but as soon as they get interesting they start to lock the new episodes why because it’s getting popular and they want money and I understand that but it’s not affordable plus you never even know if the translations are going to be correct how long it’s going to be when they’re going to release the next chapter also I forget what happened in the last episode and I can’t even go back to re-read it when they unlock the next episode or when I get a coupon the next day the episodes are not even long enough to enjoy this Review would’ve been a five star if they translated correctly and at least make each chapter a reasonably length sense we are paying for it. If I’m gonna to pay for a chapter at least do your part and make it worth it by putting in more effort instead of scamming us.

This app is just amazing and wonderful. I really enjoy it so much, I read it almost every single day and it's really addictive. This app could have it's ups and downs but still, I really enjoy it very much! This app really opened my world and showed me so many things to read, it's amazing! Before I got this app I use to dislike reading very much but ever since I got this app I fell in love with reading manga or any kind of book! Whenever I'm down or sad or worried or happy or any kind of emotion I always read from this app, there's just one thing though.. I think coins kinda cost some money, but that does not mean I can't read every single book in this app. Obviously there's some mangas in this app that don't need coins and stickers to. It's just I think there a little to much (in my opinion) but this app is truly amazing so I really don't care.Anyways this app really doesn't have that many problems (in my opinion) so if your every bored or wanna try reading or anything I really recommend this app!

I got this app about a mouth and I can’t stop reading but to say there is one thing wrong I need points to get the next episode but ... it let’s you get a ad so you can just unlock the next episode I made my own novel myself go check out idol to the rise and pixie girl if you want anyway this is a awesome app I recommend it oh and you can see people’s comments to be honest they make me laugh so hard and am only reading the comments . And it has all topics historical romance , boy love , girl love , comedy ,action , and my favorite romance I just love it oh and ceo too where the ceo is the male lead oh and if you love manga that is like more adult this is kind of your place because in like every story that has the topic ROMANCE it almost always starts with sex so like they drink to much or do somthing somthing it just always starts like that idk why but I kind of like it ...oh no I wrote to much well then hope you get the app oh and ... read my novel pixie girl and idol to the rise see you later manga readers

Hi, I’m here to tell you guys that this is a great app and all but there is one thing that makes me so mad. It was originally giving you lots of coupons per day. Then that stoped. Then it was the point system. They completely modified it. And finally we get to now. And again it’s the point system. Now you have to read a specific manga for 10 mins or watch an ad just so you have more points in the app. And if you ask me that’s crap for people who can’t pay. Not to mention they are literally making you watch the ads so that they make more money. Like really? You want to screw us over so bad that you don’t want people to at least get 10 extra points? We are already spending 40 minutes to get the points. Heck if anything it should be more than that at least point wise like I remember it being like 5 and 30 minutes online and like 10 minutes reading. Not to mention that coupon prices have risen. And I’m ok with that like how prices in a store change. But I’m not ok with just spending 40 minutes reading on the app if you are just making it back and never making anymore unless you do one of the bonus point stuff. I’m not saying the app is trash, I’m just saying that it might be wise if you to stop doing that.

I’ve read some of the reviews and a lot of people are complaining about having to read other stories to get more points or watch ads, if they don’t want to pay for coins. I don’t watch ads ever but I do appreciate the option to read different stories for points. Some of the stories are something that I wouldn’t think I’d like but end up enjoying them. I mean a few of them weren’t to my liking but that’s all on preference. I honestly don’t mind spending money on coins it’s literally like a few cents per chapter and I know that the artist need to get paid somehow too. I hope people will be able to think logically and be more understanding when it comes to the option to pay or watch ads or read things they “don’t want to read.”

I will say that sometimes the translations aren’t the best, I’ve seen worse, but I can still make out what the general sentence is and I autocorrect in my head.
Also, some chapters can be a bit short but I noticed most of the short chapters come from series that update every few days instead of once a week.

I do have a final question tho. I’m wondering what the numbers mean on the weekly crazy update? Ie: It’ll say on the pic “crazy update + 10”

So my issue isn’t the paywall for unlocking more chapters, like it’s not fun but I sort of get it. My issue is that there is this paywall that I’m sure pays for the translators and the like, but there is no quality control. Given that the app have options to get free coins by being a translator, this brings into question the actual work going in. Such as, are people just feeding information to a computer and using google translate? I don’t feel as if I’m far off because there real problems with the translations that kind of make it difficult to understand. No one is actually screening chapters before they’re put out, and it leads to MAJOR errors. Using the wrong tense, repeats of a word on accident, entire sentence structures that weren’t looked over to see if they even made sense in English. And that’s why I don’t really feel comfortable paying. I’ve seen better translations from people who weren’t getting paid in the old mangafox days than here. They’re rushing out chapters and not even checking the work. I can justify giving money to this if they even thought about adding a quality control team. So I hope they take that into consideration. Or at the very least, slow down the process just a bit in order to give decent(not necessarily perfect) translations. There are a LOT of stories on here and the spreading people thin to make rush deadlines leads to a poor product.

I like this app, in fact I use it everyday. There are many titles to choose from. Both novels and webtoon. But I don’t like how almost all titles have locked episodes almost right away. Yes, there are a few that will have many, many free chapters before the next ones will be locked but majority of the titles only have few free chapters. Also, getting the daily free points is a pain in the butt. Sometimes you end up using your points or coins just trying to make the time requirements etc. to earn the free points which basically becomes something ridiculous. I also really don’t like their unlocking system. You have the option to use 10 points to unlock the episode for 3 days or 20 points to unlock it permanently which is too steep. Basically, if you want to re-read the locked chapters, you’re out of luck if you didn’t opt for the permanent unlocking option. That’s just not fair to the readers. Other apps are better cause once you’ve unlocked the episode, it’s unlocked for good unlike here. This is the only app that’s made me spend money so far and normally I’d be more than happy to do it to support the authors but I feel like I’ve wasted my money when all it bought me were temporarily unlocking the episodes. Hope they change their system or opt for paid monthly membership or maybe even make it easier to earn more points or maybe not lock so many chapters. There’s so many things you guys can improve on to make your app more appealing to readers like me.

I don’t want to be overly offensive towards this app but there are a lot of problems that have been occurring in the past couple of months. First of all, I want to say, when I first got this app a few years ago (or when it came out), I was pretty much in love with the app. I’d get my daily coupons and use them to read the new manhua that recently had come out. I’m the type of person that will wait a long time to consecutively earn coupons and points, and then use a certain amount each day so I don’t immediately run out or get them expired. But then suddenly a couple of months ago, the app either started glitching or it just changed the rules of the coupons. Ever since then, the coupons I earn sometimes aren’t even given, when I check in each day and save coupons they disappear and won’t go further than around nine, and just yesterday, it took my 50 day check in streak and took it down to 1. I checked in every day and did not miss anything. And the worst part isn’t even the fact that it went down to 1. The worst part is that I had checked in for fifty days and I only had 7 coupons. I did not use any in those fifty days. Another problem is that I checked in today because my streak of 50 had gone to one yesterday, but when I go on, it doesn’t give me any coupon nor does it change the check in day to 2. I am done with this app. I have endured for months now and I can’t stand it anymore. The app was good when it first came out, now it’s trash. Webcomics is a way better app for manhua. One check in day on webcomics gives you 100 coins which lets you read about five chapters that day. Way better system than MangaToon.

I want to start this off by saying “This app is great, they have more episodes and more interesting things to read than Webcomics.” However, it’s to the point where it begins to feel like a money scam. You pay for points to get a few episodes, but a few episodes is nothing compared to a comic that has 300+ episodes. I understand the authors need to get paid; I’m fully aware of that important fact as we need money to survive. But when you have steady waste the money you work hard for just to unlock a few episodes it begins to get tedious and tiresome. When I was on Webcomics they gave a three day trial membership, and honestly it worked. After my three days expired I was spending my coins rapidly to read the comics I adored. Well I wasn’t going to buy coins just to unlock one episode for a few days, so I looked into something that would let me read comics freely with a few. And they offered it, and surly without second thought I purchased it. I love reading comics and would spend the money but what I’m not down for is wasting money. I see it as if people stop spending money on coins for the authors comics they lose money. So why not just offer a membership to meet both of worlds? Authors still get paid and we get to read comics freely. MangaToon has more episodes and comics than Webcomics indeed. But people will always stay with them like me if y’all continue to be greedy for money. At least offer a membership for 15 or 20 to cover everything. But that’s not happening, so until than I’ll just either watch them on YouTube or wait for Webcomics to drop more chapters. As once said the app is better than Webcomics but it’s more money hungry than Webcomics and that’s where I don’t agree with. When y’all are able to make a membership I shall be the first to buy it, until than please work on a solution.

I'm using this app from long ago almost years. At first it was good and working properly. But from some months I've been facing issues like my thumbnail isn't showing, The episodes isn't loading,the app is lagging, The draft isn't opening etc. which is quite annoying I've tried reinstalling the app, updating the app, clearing cache, etc hoping that it will work fine again but it's not working... just a while ago I open MT to update the episode but my thumbnail isn't showing, The weekly report has been send to me but that also isn't showing all are 0...I hope you fix this it will be helpful 🙇🏻‍♀️

My author name is UNIVERSAL SECRET. Two days before, I wrote my new chat story ( My Sunflower) but for some reason episodes are not uploading. I posted it yesterday and it is passed by the mangatoon itself however, My readers can't read it as it was not showing on the story's page. Help me to upload those episodes so I can write more. Please help me find a solution of this problem as soon as possible. Hello Mangatoon, I'm an author on your app. I started my new chat story and I published 7 episodes by now which are passed by mangatoon but for some reason it is not showing on the story's update

Recently I'm facing a problem as an Author. Whenever I write a chapter and try to upload it MT doesn't lets it and notifies me about dialogue counts. My chapter are always 1000+ word counts and even dialogues are sufficient then why am I getting these types of notifications? Please remove that update because I'm not able to upload further chapters.

I ve been using this app for a while now and as of recently, perhaps some time this year...the episodes have been shorter drastically. Also you pay money to unlock these episodes ( ONLY TEMPORARILY ) then they relock again. On some of the original stories they only have maybe 95 episodes, but because of slicing them in half, WEBTOON has them in the 100’s. I’m “PAYING “to read these stories. I feel also that this is extremely
Unnecessary and wrong to your subscribers so therefore I will be deleting this app.

Can you please come up with a better system to get coins and points...it’s bad enough you need three different currencies to unlock an episode. The tickets go away if you don’t use them after certain time is stupid. I feel like if i watch an ad to unlock an episode i should be able to keep it unlocked since the ad pays for the chapters! Chapters shouldn’t lock back up after 3 days it should stay unlocked if i wanna reread. Also the ads don’t work. They keep exiting out of the app and don’t count for unlocking.

The comics are the worst things I’ve ever read in my entire life.
One comic condones rape and domestic abuse?
Basically all these stories have grammar and spelling mistakes.
The stories are written terribly and all have 2D characters.
Even worse the comic with rape in it, doesn’t have a trigger warning!

And let’s say that you somehow actually enjoy this app.

In some stories, you could be right in the middle of reading and then all of a sudden, you have to pay to read the rest of the story.

Don’t get this app. It’s just horrible.

This app is really good, I love the mangas, but it has some problems with the coins and the passes that you get every day. Sometimes the passes doesn’t let me unlock the comics or sometimes it unlocks the episode that I already read, so it’s really annoying sometimes to have to watch videos bc of that. Yesterday I was reading and I got 30 points and today I wanted to use them but there weren’t there, I do love the mangas on this app but it’s having a lot of problems, also my daily free episodes are not working since last week so I can’t read anymore

I really like this app but it only gives you 1 coupons per day even though I have like 15 books that I’m reading at the same time. I am happy that you get points for readying but it doesn’t take 10 minutes to read one chapter and also after you read a chapter it will lock up in a couple of days I hate that because you might want to go back to now what happened in the last chapter to refresh your memory but you have to use another coupon to do that what’s the point in using a coupon if the chapter is going to lock up again that’s why I can it one star

I like the app the only things I don’t like, is when it says the comic updated but really it didn’t. And that you have to purchase coins to continue reading a comic. You have to pay money out of your pocket to continue reading a chapter, that’s stupid and outrages! I mean at least add an Ad we can watch to get free coins or make us wait a few hours for the chapter to be unlocked. I understand the app is trying to make money but you’ll just end up losing readers and ratings like this. There are many great manga apps that don’t do this that are better worth my time.

You can only buy the chapters for 72 hours each which doesn’t make me want to purchase coins/ coupons.

Readers will blatantly spoil stories and the app has no rules to discourage it.

They release content extremely slowly.

I downloaded this because they got the licensing right for my favorite series but ever since they took over the quality and quantity of the translation has decreased and with the other negatives of the app and it’s community I’ve decided to delete it entirely I’d rather wait until other websites upload the content instead of being spoiled every freaking second.

1.I don’t think it should cost 10 points just to do this (10 points=1 chapter) which i think it’s dumb you should reduce it and make it 5 points for each chapter.(2) Half of the stories I’m reading won’t accept ads.Like it would work for 1-8 chapters but then it stops and it’s frustrating because I don’t have any money and I’ve already redeemed my points.

Not to mention you guys will say your going to be working on these problems and fixes(which in mind I’ve read the reviews and there mainly about the ad problems.)You guys have the same response but NEVER actually do anything about it.

ok the app is great and has some really good stories but the thing that bothers me is that ALL the good stories you have to pay for. The minute a story gets popular the eps become locked and you have to pay to see it and what bothers me even more than that is that after paying you only have 72 hours to read it before it’s locked again. I’m saying all this fully acknowledging that the authors and translators have to get paid BUT using a simple method such as the one webtoon uses will solve the problem and would probably temp people to buy instead of a money grabbing way. good stories though

I find the fact you force people to pay money or wait three days to earn a single ticket to read one chapter or wait god knows how long before you unlock it. You are running a monopoly off of it and what you are doing gives no profit because people will just flat out refuse to put up with this kind of crap. I will keep your app just in case you decide to change your ways and become like maybe manga rock which does adds and doesn’t force you to pay so please keep this in mind that you are fighting a losing war with this system that will fail you no matter what you try to do since you will make nothing off of this.

This app is really good. It updates a little bit more than webcomics but it’s the coin issue and I been seeing the reviews and it’s the same thing. I understand writers need to make some money in there end but we’re really wasting our money as well too and sometimes the deals aren’t so good. Why can’t you guys just do a subscribe month ? It will be better. I know people wouldn’t mind paying a little extra money to have access to some episodes and there should be no reason to lower the monthly subscribe as well. I really think manga toons should reconsider this because more and more people come in type comments about the whole coins.

This app updates frequently and they have really good manhuas. But you have to pay to unlock every episode. If you’re really rich and like to waste money, I would recommend this. Also, I have a suggestion for the one who made this app. If you want readers to enjoy this app, I would recommend people paying monthly and reading unlimited for free. One coupon a day and one invitation forever isn’t going to let a reader read a whole manhua. If you’re not going to make monthly deals, at least make it so we can use more than one persons invitation code. This is one of the apps that is so hungry on money and I would only recommend it to people who are rich and like to waste their money!

I was happy when I found this app because I had been looking for some more comics to read. However, it became apparent this app was extremely focused on making money. They lock chapters almost immediately after you read them even if you use tickets to read it. They don’t give out tickets or points frequently enough. So you essentially need to buy tons of coins or watch ads every minute or so. Other apps let you pay a monthly subscription fee or will unlock chapters as new ones are added to help keep the people who can’t be spending money carelessly. With this app it’s either buy coins constantly or don’t read any thing at all. Completely bogus. WebComics and WEBTOON apps are way better than this one.

Similar to many other reviews, it is understandable to include a coin system to finance all of the authors and such however, there is the opportunity to watch advertisements instead of waiting or paying for coins. The bad thing is that there is never any ads to watch, thus you always have to wait for coupons. I would use this app more if there were actually advertisements readily available.

3/25 Update
Once again this app continues to disappoint. Once they started getting the watching ads system working. Some of the comics immediately go into a not accepting ads because of Author’s copyright. Ok I get this for some of the comics, but not ALL OF THEM. This means that this app once again is not able to put ads because of flaws.
