Do not use at all is my advice. brought my car 6 months ago from a dealer who issued me with warrenty with this company. as most people you take the addition and walk off thinking you have piece of mind.

all was fine until my steering started making a funny noise, everytime you would move it there was a loud whining noise. a trip to a garage told me it was the steering pump and rack which was on its last leg and needed replacing. no problem i thought, warrenty on the car will sort out a little problem like this...

2 days later after contacting the company i got a call from the garage who said that the parts in question were not covered on the warrenty because they had not failed. after hours of phone calls and not getting anywhere and warranty wise not budging i shelled out £500 for the work to be done privetly, great.

so after that everything was fine until the gearbox started making a loud knocking noise one evening then finally died. again back to the garage and calls to warrenty wise. this will definately be covered i assumed, when i saw the bill for the work to be done i really started to pray.

few days had past then i got a phone call from the garage who said warrenty wise required the part to be removed from the car and sent off to a specialist to find out the route cause, which was fine...untilthe garage told me that warranty wise would not pay for diagnostic work. because the gearbox was a sealed unit it would have to be broken apart which i got quoted £800 for. after speaking to warranty wise for days on end about my unhappiness they basically said that if i could get the work done privetly for cheaper then that would be the best option because the likelyhood of them paying out was almost zero.

quentin wilson who co-owns this company, i really really hope you know whats going on.

Quentin Willson knows rxactly what's going on! He designed and wrote the policy terms so as they contradict each section to allow warrantywise every option to reject any claim for one reason or another.

This is a transcript of an email I have sent to Quentin Wilson. I hope you can sleep at night after the way you are conning people to pay for a useless product. The car dealer who sold me my car give me a warranty wise policy. This prevented any comebacks on him. I paid an additional £50 to cover added items which included air-conditioning. Four weeks after the policy began, I took my car to a garage and they diagnosed the condenser had a leak. I was initially happy that I had taken out extra cover for this. To my dismay, the claim was refused on the grounds of wear and tear. You were aware of the age of the vehicle (10 years) when you issued the policy. This means that the policy is useless, as any further claim would be met with the same response. In other words, you conned me into taking out a policy that would never pay out. I was initially taking out a small claim court order against you but due to my disability, I have refrained. Thank you for nothing.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? I am amazed at just the high quantity of bad reports I am reading and not just on this website but many other review sites too. I can’t believe that Quentin Willson still endorses the Warrantywise (WW) company name unless the financial gain is more attractive than his reputation. I am sorry, but I would not have any sympathy for anyone associated with this company if their reputation was irreversible damaged as a result of all complaints. There appears to be so many!
I too have an experience with a failed handbrake on my 4 year old Mercedes. I explained to WW that after nearly 3 months of owning the car the foot operated handbrake was locking on and that I had problems with releasing it. The local Mercedes dealer had already suggested it was the Brake Pedal Mechanism which had been a common problem. WW insisted that I pay for the diagnostics which I did at a cheaper garage as Mercedes garage charges were £168 so the £50 WW would pay (if at all) would not cover the repair bills.
The garage confirmed a new Pedal mechanism was required but WW refused to pay out because they said the warranty does not cover anything that is seized. So when they say they cover parts that are failed they appear to somehow forget to mention that there are many different failure modes which they can decide after the event which one they would like to cover. As an engineer working in the automotive, rail & aerospace industry I find this is unbelievable as my definition is anything that does not function correctly as per the original design intent is a failure. OEM’s would certainly class this as a failure mode and I am sure would do everything they could to prevent it. My other complaint is that as WW knew from the first time I spoke to them that the Pedal Mechanism was suspected of seizing why did they not warn me that it was not covered then?.
I feel really sorry for all the people that have paid out a lot of money to give them peace of mind and thought they were being sensible in protecting against the risk of their huge investment encountering a problem but then find out the warranty covers very little.
I was also interested in the information that was provided on the inside cover of the Warranty Book saying Auto Express gave them 4 stars. I would love to know what that was based on and how many stars is there in total that they can award (Does anyone know? 4 of 100 perhaps?) Also I would love to know where their figures of 95% positive feedback came from as from all the different reviews I have seen on various websites see there is a huge amount of unhappy customers out there who have taken the trouble to express their concerns & dissatisfaction with this company.
Oh, one last thing I found is that they don’t cover tyre pressure monitoring sensors. Mine started to leak about a week before the handbrake issue and apparently this isn’t covered either on my Platinum Warranty. That cost me another ~£100 to fix.
It would be interesting to know that if I called them up as a potential customer requesting a quote for the same Platinum cover and asking them if a seized brake pedal & tyre monitoring valve would be covered to see what they say. Has anyone else had any experience of doing this?
Anyway please accept my apologies if this has been a long review but if nothing else it has probably helped me to vent my annoyance and share my experience so others can make a decision whether to use this company or not. My recommendation is save they money you would pay them and put some money aside if you can each month to pay for unforeseen bills but only you can decide what risk you are prepared to take. I would certainly not recommend using this company.

Going through hell with these cupid stunts, bought a car with warranty in may 2017, called them up in october about a leaking turbo return pipe, not covered, fine. out the car into get looked at at the end of feb regarding a rattly start up, contacted warrantywise about it, they sent out the forms and even said the fault might be covered by wear and tear as the car wasnt 10 years old yet. mechanic diagnosed premsture failure of the timing chain tensioner guide, ww asked for the service history tk be emailed over, before I could even do that, they rejected my claim because... the dealer has to pay for the repairs... wtf? spke ti the desker who was 180 miles away, said he stopped using them as they were harrassing him for sales.

So long story short ive paid for a 12 month warranty that I cannot use use due to situations that have f*k all to do with me!

After speaking with customer services and their manager, who said they simply administer the terms and conditions for the desler snd its up to the dealer to dealer to with it, I ended up talking to trading standards who are confident that there is a breach if contract somewhere, thats as far as I have gotten as im still waiting on an appeal decision from the head man himself.

Wish me luck and any advice is welcome!

Warranty Wise are a bunch of scam artists. They seem to pay out for cheap repairs but anything sizeable like my £1000+ repair and they decline. I had to get my van back on the road and I couldn't find any garages willing to do work for them because they got paid late and most of the time refused to pay completely. So I paid for my repairs upfront foolishly thinking that they would honour the policy I paid for. Big mistake. But be warned - it really isn't worth wasting your money with these fraudsters

As car dealers who have had personal experience with Warrantywise we would advise anyone thinking of using warantywise, think again. They will find any excuse they can not to pay out. Avoid them like the plague

My name is Ron Swain
I have taken out t2 policy's with WW first a VW Tourag, and a Jaguar XF . The Tourag developed a fault it would not turn over nore start as the battery went flat, I called the RAC out to put a volt meater to see if the the battery was charging, this was fine I also asked if battery was holding a charge no sells was fault . It was not long ago the battery was changed . I then took my vehicle to my garage who I use for my servicing they a metre on the system and found it was loosing 450 milliamps through the stereo . And it was in the garage they found the rear main bearing oil sill was leaking

I then decided to call this Warrenty Wise company and explained to them the situation, they then said to me get my garage to take the drip tray down and take some photo which they did, this so called engineer he said by looking at the photo the condition of the leak as been like this for a long time . My car as been going in fo this garage since I have had my Tourag and if there was rear main oil sill leak this would of been reported to me and would outdoor been rectified straight away . This company engineer I am sure have informed to reject claim .

I have spoke to WW manager who is second in command I have asked for my money back and they have refused to give it to me .according to Aypril the second in command the Tourag policy as been counciled but they took a payment from my bank in January for £ 54 they have rejected to pay this back .

I am a highly qualified motor engineer and a civil serverent . I in tend to take this company to County Court and if any body would like to join me my contact number is [protected] this company is ripping member of the public of its as good as obtains money by diseption . I have read all of your complaints even dealer are getting ripped of as this Warrenty wise is undisireble . I intend to issue county court Simon

Don't waste your time with any extended warranty.

I am a motor trader and have currently sold 23 warranty wise products and had always encountered decent customer service levels until one of my customers car broke down.
The fault was a failed oil pump and the replacement cost was £753. The claim was denied because of supposed lack of service history which in the whole has been proved to be completely wrong. The service history is there and visible for all to see and inspect.
Warranty Wise now say they wont pay out because the part need to be inspected, The part is being held in Halfords Bolton but still there is no mention of this independent body going to inspect this faulty part.

Your customer service is an absolute shambles, very uninformed and very Warranty Wise orientated. of all the warranties i have placed through warranty wise i have only had this claim. I will never use your (non) service again and will now operate my own in house warranty scheme that truly will be different to every other scheme around. Warranty Wise as much as they try to sell it that they different to other providers is total rubbish as they are no different to any other warranty provider.

Messaging Quentin Willson is also a waste of time, I have made my complaint by following all of your procedures but still nothing, 6 days now and still no response, no response from CEO and no response from customer services all of which were sent the same email.

I am now going to file a request for a refund of all of the policies i have sold in the last 30 days, i will be writing to all of my customers and explaining the reason for the cancellation (Warranty Wise won't pay out). I will actively seek to get this story printed on every review page i can find and do my best to discourage any further buyers from purchasing inferior Warranty Wise products.

Further more i am going to file a claim for reimbursement of the money that i have had to pay out to keep my customer happy.

On the last point i will thank warranty wise for proving to me that out sourcing my warranties is an absolute waste of money. In the space of 12 months i have sold 162 cars and had 2 warranty claims both from different warranty providers (you being one), the first was upheld but only had a measly £500 repair limit. I think i'm gonna be a lot more wealthy in the future.

I had a very bad experience with waranty wise, i took the warranty thinking I will have peace of mind but when my car gear box started making loud bangs I took it to a garage where I was told that it needed repairs when I called warranty wise and the garage sent the diagnostic I was told I wasn't covered leaving me me with over 2k in repairs AVOID AVOID they will always find an excuse not to pay !

Could not agree more with all the above comments, just had a turbo fail on my audi, took car to a v.a.t registered company with a good reputation ( AUDI MAIN DEALER ) JOKERS! Could not find anything wrong with my car. I then got 2 other independent mechanics to check car out and both advised do not drive it, turbo has gone, Great i thought as ive got platinum warranty with warranty wise ime covered. After taking car to another garage for 3rd opinion was told again turbo has failed, got in touch with warranty wise, and after several phone calls from myself and the garage and not having the car for 3 days, i was told that they want turbo removed and sent to there own technician somewhere in huddersfield. Garage owner who was dealing with my car and claim then told me this is a scam, where you part would checked out and probably be sent back saying turbo has failed due to wrong oil or something else has caused turbo to fail to which you wont be covered! Just had to pay out £1500 for new turbo DUE TO A MICKY MOUSE NO GOOD WARRANTY COMPANY CALLED WARRANTY WISE! DO NOT USE THEM, THEY ARE A COMPLETE JOKE AND WASTE OFF MONEY! ROBBING B...ARDS

STAY WELL CLEAR FROM THIS COMPANY. It's a con. Their terminology is flawed, ambiguous and contradictory. In the policy they cover Wear & Tear but, in the small print they do not cover "Worn Out Parts". Well, you would think that a part is worn out if you wear it, wouldn't you? As a consequence they have refused to pay my claim fully. I am now considering taking legal action although, this will leave me out of pocket. But I just cannot let them get away with this. By the way, BEWARE, this company is states that they are regulated by the FCA when infact their actions are not and consequently I could not pursue this matter with the Financial Ombudsman.
QUENTIN WILLSON you should be ashamed to go on TV raving about this company. Trust me people...SAVE YOUR MONEY.

WOW! I just got a quote from Warrantywise after just viewing Quentin's video on one of the popular UK-based car websites (auto express). I thought it sounded great, and the quote was reasonable, so I was just about to take the plunge when I decided to google the company. SO glad I did! Quentin, I've been a fan of yours since the Top Gear days of old, but you should be thoroughly ashamed of yourself to be shafting your customers like this.

Bought a car with low miles from a great guy/dealer. Developed a fault but I have the Platinum cover. Part is not covered and the dealer is ordering the part and having it delivered to me for my local garage to fit which he is paying for. A good dealer supported by rogues. Not worth the paper it's written on and they rang me to ask if I wanted to upgrade? To what Plutonium cover?

A fool and his money are easily parted. This is how Warranty Wise view their customers. So whatever you do, DO NOT buy one of their warranties! They are worthless! Set aside the premium you would have paid and use it to cover your own repairs because you will end up paying for them anyway! Whatever spiel they give you over the phone ignore it! They will hide behind a very ambiguous and confusing policy wording and will also state that despite what they may have said any issues are your own fault because you didn't read the policy wording. For any potential buyers of a Warranty Wise policy please note the following:
1. Whoever you talk to over the phone will be economical and selective regarding the facts
2. if you want your vehicle repaired with genuine manufacturer parts you can only do so at a franchised main dealer and provided you have selected a labour rate that covers the main dealers usual rate.
3. If you select a lower labour rate then genuine parts will be replaced with aftermarket parts and therefore your vehicle will not be repaired at a main dealer. I was told at the point of sale that I would simply be responsible for the difference in labour cost.
4. Please be aware that In all probability your claim is likely to be rejected.
5. The policy is what is known as discretionary - this means that Warranty Wise can refuse to pay even if the policy terms and conditions are met by you.
5. if you wish to cancel your policy after the 30 day cooling off period you will not receive any refund of premium.

They will steadfastly refuse to accept any wrongdoing on their part.
They have the front to talk about weasel words. The weasels are the staff and their tactics!
You have been warned!

I have to say that having read the comments here WW sound just like all the other insurance backed warranties out there, a total waste of money. How Quentin Wilson can stand there on TV talking about other companies weasiling out of claims plus claiming that WW does not use the "wear and tear" get out clause, that they so obviously do.
I just hope someone takes them to court as they would surely get shot down in flames for deliberately misleading customers.

I totally agree with all negative comments over Warranty Wise's attitude. There are no more weasels left in the wild as they all work for Warranty Wise including its top position!
My 5 series suffered a turbo failure and they refused to pay out citing that the part had come to the end of its life (I thought that wear and tear was covered but clearly QW and his mob interpreted this to suit themselves). This was after they tried an earlier dodge.
I eventually settled with them after 'baring my soul'. If I had the time and inclination I would have pursued a route which could have included legal action. And, perhaps, like most businesses, they bank on this risk working in their favour.
They even tried to assert that my claim of having a FSH with BMW was false, albeit I only had myself to blame for not paying attention to my own paperwork.
Warranty Wise? I am wiser now that I am coming to an end with their warranty. Over my dead body QW!

Like all insurance companies they are in the business of getting every penny they can out of you and making sure they can find every trick in the book to avoid paying out.
When you talk to them on the phone when buying your warranty they include the earth. When it comes to claiming some brain dead fool hiding in an office decides which cop out clause to use to reject claims.
Avoid this shower like the plaque.

Everyone please read the whole policy document carefully. If you don't follow their procedure the claim can be rejected. The A A breakdown repair cover offers parts and labour upto £500 subject to a £35 excess as an alternative.

Has anybody taken these as far as the court and won, as I'm currently going through the same problems listed above. Five different reasons why my claim is being rejected, each different to the last and each contradicting the last. Gone to the md, same again completely different answer, followed the process of emailing Quentin direct, again a completely different answer. I would advise all customers to think again and avoid like the plague. My warranty is £400 a year, take my advice save your money. I'm going to push this all the way as they are not getting away with it

JUT FOR EVERYONE TO KNOW. Mr Quentin Willson of Warrantywise proved not as "WISE" as his Company ...

like you would hear something new...)...I ALSO had my claim rejected for "item at fault was not on the covered item's list" INITIALLY.

I asked the Vehicle Manufacturer to PROVE the item they "excluded" from the list (glow plugs) was actually an item that was not called "cold starter" anymore but there are the newer technology called "Glow Plugs" which do EXACTLY THE SAME as ...glow plugs...
The vehicle Manufacture gave a written statement explaining my very modern car does not have the old style of "cold start system" for a long time. BUT IT WAS REPLACED with the NAMELY "GLOW PLUGS".

After strong legal arguments they have "cancelled the "not covered in the policy list" reason and came forward with..."wear&tear item".
Unprofessional enough to jump from one conclusion to another, however Mr Q.WILLSON got involved... sending me a "sweetly worded" email saying he would not be able to pay out for the claim because ...would be unfair for other customers with same issues in the past...(what's MY problem what OTHER customers had their claim rejected for?- this is Warrantywise's isuue NOT MINE!)

The disadvantage for them is that... my dad has 41 years of experience in Commercial and Consumer Law and they WILL GET IT ! I will file a case against Warrantywise refusing to pay out the claim. The loss will not be just the repair costs but ...a lot more a I initially was asked to...rent a vehicle so I DID for 19 days... !

ADVICE ... IF YOU HAVE THE MONEY, TAKE THEM TO COURT ! THEIR POLICY IS FLAWED ! ALL THE ITEMSS ON THEIR "POLICIES" CAN BE STRONGLY ARGUED ARE "WEAR AND TEAR ITEMS". therefore, by law, including the FULL list of "included items" but only paying out on SOME when they go wrong and claiming for the others as being "W&T" is a very cheesy cheap way to approach a Lawyer or a Judge! they simply won't have any of that ...plus that the VEHICLE'S MANUFACTURER CONFIRMED THE ABOVE !

Furthermore, I extended my initial warranty on which my claim was rejected, to a further 3 years...because I AM CONFIDENT that if you go to Court, Judges don't hold their breath ANYONE or ANYTHING. Be it even Mr Q. Willson and hi "helpful" Manager, Apryl Keenan.

To complete the picture, I also have contacted BBC1 Rogue Traders and they WILL pay Warrantywise a visit ...just to raise awareness for those who had been unacceptably conned into Mr Wilson's "sweet as a pea" " speech on Warrantywise's website AND in other occassions.

YOU GUYS GO ONLINE ! PROVE THEM ON EVERY POSSIBLE SOCIAL MEDIA HOW BAD THEY ARE AND HOW DO THEY USE "WORDINGS" TO INVALIDATE YOUR CLAIMS...THEY WILL HAVE TO REPLY TO THIS.

ONE VERY USEFUL EMAIL FOR ALL THAT HAD ISSUES WITH THESE USELESS INSURANCE Company:

The CHIEF EXECUTIVE'S HERSELF : Lawrence Whittaker
email: lawrence@warrantywise.co.uk

GOOD LUCK GUYS! I;'M SURE ALL CLAIMS WERE GENUINE but, ofcourse they have profit-loss margin therefore "escape" with the Policy wording to get away with ONLY THE PROFIT TO BE KEPT HIGHER and the loss at its lowest or not at all (if we were monkeys they may have tried but we are CLEVERER HUMANS that they CAN'T mess with our HARDLY EARNED cash we paid for their 200-700% profit per share they invest them into...)

Never use them as they do their utmost not to pay out. My claim was for a Jaguar XF waste gate valve on a turbo and the policy document was quite unequivocal in stating that the turbo and all moving parts was covered including the waste gate. They claimed the failed valve was not a moving part, which planet are they on, obviously have not got a clue what a valve does. When that excuse failed they stated that the mileage of the vehicle was high and the part was not covered when the policy document for the relevant mileage stated it was. The Jaguar main dealer was stunned to learn that a valve was not a moving part having just replaced it. When I stated I would write to the press about the weasel words in Quentin Wilson's policy document they said they were not concerned with publicity and then came back with a 50% without prejudice payment to keep me quiet. Their idea of 50% on a bill of £310 after £50 policy excess was £50 so they can't even do the maths unless it is calculating the cost of the policy - nice business if you can get it. The Telegraph Motoring ran an article that Trading Standards are investigating the industry so start referring cases to them. I have spoken to several policy holders who have had claims rejected for spurious and illogical reasons.I would rather forego their nominal payment to silence me and publicise how they reject claims. I did copy Quentin Wilson on the correspondence and like all salesman when the ink has dried on the policy and the monies banked you never hear from them again.

Totally rubbish service, Never use them. Save some money you can use the money you spend to take the policy ti repair your car when it breaks down.
I took a policy which covers engine works, last week my car got problem with EGR valve and when I rang Warranty Wise and told them about it the lady said yes my policy covers for the repair so I need to take it to a VAT registered repair center and ask them to give a call back so they can start the paper work.
When the repair center contacted them Warranty wise declined the claim as even though in diagnostics it clearly says got problem with EGR valve but don't fails in emission test, to which by their terms and condition it has to fail. Even the mechanic from the garage called and argued with Warrant Wise that it is not necessary that if there is a problem with EGR valve the car should fail in emission test but Warranty Wise didn't excepted it. Even mechanic is agreed with me that they are deliberately doing this to avoid the claim.
Now I emailed to Customer Service and mentioned that I need a reply soon as I need my car back so that I can go back to work coming Monday. But they never bother to reply me back.
The repair center agreed to give me a letter saying that its not necessary to fail in emission if it got problem with EGR valve and if I don't get a reply by Monday will start legal proceeding.
I don't know how they got 95% positive feedback from customer, might be from their own staff...

Beware of Wear & Tear Clause, policy not worth buying
Not the best experience I have had, we were sold this policy 10/100 as we were concerned our car was getting older and parts might start to fail. On enquiring about the policy we were told everything would be covered for failure as parts listed, one thing what was not mentioned or easy to find in T&Cs was not paying out due to ‘wear and tear’.
Seven weeks after policy first started (WW put a three week delay as our previous start date as we had to have another service as our last one was not at a VAT reg Garage, basically £170 wasted!) on our 2006 Audi A3 2.0 tdi with 99k miles started to idle rough and went into limp mode, so we followed procedure and car was taken to our local Audi dealer. Extensive diagnostic’s was carried at a cost to us of £320 and we were told we had two faults Turbo over boost and Injector failure, repair cost £2500.
This is when our issues started, firstly WW sent out an independent engineer to check what Audi had diagnosed, we initially thought this was sensible until WW told us this was to try and confirm liability (a word they like to use!), basically they wanted to blame faults on wear and tear which we have since found out are not covered. Independent engineer just confirmed what Audi had found. WW then told us liability can only be confirmed by removal and testing parts WW insisted we pay for this at £350, issue we had there was that if the parts were deemed faulty due to wear and tear we would have to pay the full bill. WW said they would collect the turbo and if it was found to be faulty due to wear and tear it could be repaired at a lower cost than a new one, problem is Audi would not fit this as they only fit new parts. WW did not offer any assistance with getting injector tested, like I have any idea who to use! It was obvious from the behaviour of WW they would do everything in their powers not to pay out. At this point we decided to throw the towel in especially as WW offered a full refund of policy payments even though policy was well past cooling off period, it shows how much they did not want to pay out.
In this whole time (two weeks) the Audi dealer was very patient and understanding, we even had a courtesy car! Thanks again to them for putting up with the WW fiasco!
In hindsight I should have just taken our car to our normal non VAT registered garage who would have probably done most of the work for less than £490 WW have caused us to loose.
Interesting enough I made a new enquiry call to WW and asked the question “If I took out the 10/100 policy does this cover wear and tear if car has done less than 100k mile”, I was told yes! Then call handler said “unless part has gone past manufacturer deemed usable life”, I asked “who determines this”, reply “all garage mechanics know this”. My local garage confirmed my thoughts that this is basically rubbish, there is only service parts which have a specific life, all other parts wear depends on car useage (ie generally rep cars going up and down motorways can do more miles), how often car is serviced etc.
Note for Quentin Wilson, I see you like the word “weasel”, yes your company likes to weasel out of paying! You need to make it clear about wear and tear as from above some of your sales staff are not sure!
Overall I was shocked how WW dealt with my claim and I will make sure anyone I know, speak to, chat on forums (member of many car clubs) know how I was treated.

Warranty Wise have a policy of "not covered - refer to your T&Cs" as the first response to everything

If you do manage to get some money out of them, they reduce their payout by:
1) labour - they don't play for how long it took, rather how long a book says it should take. Rusted/stubborn nuts bolts etc likely on older cars don't count
2) parts - they have a catalogue of parts and prices, their supplier supplies at these prices, never mind it might take a day or more to get them, meanwhile your car is off the road and you have to pay for the time to get it on/off lift etc
3) everything that can be wear and tear is. see others or google
4) be very careful on what words are used - any word that they can use to weasel out of paying they do: "Plug" means spark plug even if it 's a power steering plug, "corrosion seen" means corroded

Garages don't like them because of all the hassle factor especially on big jobs - £20 down on a £200 repair isn't good but £500+ is a nightmare. Put the money in a savings account and add to it! The less stress is worth it

I am having the same issues with Warranty Wise. Unfortunately, the warranty came with the car and I was unaware until after I'd signed for the car! Anyway, that aside, here's my story:

Basically, cutting a very long story short, they are only offering to cover the 'average' cost of replacing a faulty mirror and air flow meter unit, which is £680 less than has been quoted. There is no information on where these 'averages' have been sourced from. I have emailed requesting an explanation, only to receive an email stating that on multiple repairs, the average cost will be covered. I just get the same response, over and over again. This is not clearly stated in the terms and conditions, which are also contradictory at best.

I have emailed their MD with my complaint, as well as informing Trading Standards

Hi everyone
Please don't use warranty wise as they will not pay for your repair. They will find you an excuse not to pay for the repair.
I am a warranty wise costumer and it didn't help me when my gearbox stopped functioning. We called them and they told us to take it to a garage to see what the problem was. Apparently a part inside the gearbox had stopped working and when we called them to cover for our repair cost, they informed us 8 days later that the part inside the gearbox was not part of the warranty agreement. I recommend you should not take warranty with this company as they will always find an excuse to not pay out the cost of your repairs.

We are in the same situation with them, issues with a gearbox. We have tried to get them to be specific but they refuse, so if we want it repaired, we have to take all the upfront risk of getting the box out, and then finding that they won't cover it.
I am considering taking them to the Ombudsman, I have a low mileage car, which I can't afford to repair, and have been paying warranty for it which isn't worth the paper it is written on.
