I am writing this review based on a fully documented experience as a seller.
I sold 2 tickets for the Tame Impala concert in Frankfurt on 30 April 2026 through Viagogo (Order #637439597).
Here is what happened:
• 29 April 2026: I successfully transferred both tickets to the buyer through the official EVENTIM application, before the concert.
• I have screenshots proving the EVENTIM transfer.
• I contacted the buyer directly via WhatsApp, and the buyer confirmed receiving the tickets.
• I also have evidence showing that the buyer used the tickets to enter the concert.
• Viagogo’s system accepted my uploaded QR-code images without displaying any warning or error indicating that I was using the wrong delivery method.
• 30 April 2026, after the concert had already started: Viagogo cancelled my sale.
Initially, Viagogo claimed that I had fulfilled the order with an “invalid e-ticket.” After I challenged this and provided evidence, their explanation changed: they stated that the tickets were mobile-transfer tickets and that I should have listed them using the mobile-transfer delivery method.
This is an important distinction: the tickets were not fake or undelivered. They were transferred through the official EVENTIM application, received by the buyer, and used to enter the event.
I have already provided Viagogo with the EVENTIM transfer records, WhatsApp correspondence, buyer confirmation and other relevant evidence. The buyer also contacted Viagogo directly regarding the same issue.
Despite all of this evidence, Viagogo continues to withhold my payment.
I am not asking for an explanation. I am asking Viagogo to release the payment for the tickets I successfully transferred and delivered to the buyer.
I will not simply let this matter go. If Viagogo continues to withhold my payment, I will pursue the matter through the appropriate consumer protection and legal channels and seek recovery of my financial losses where applicable.
I expect Viagogo to release the payment owed to me and resolve this matter accordingly.
Recommendation: Based on my experience, I strongly recommend keeping comprehensive documentation of every stage of the transaction. Do not rely solely on the platform's automated acceptance of uploaded documents. Preserve transfer records, screenshots, buyer communications, and any proof of ticket usage, as these may become critical if a dispute arises.
