I had bought a pair of shoes online at kohl's. But returned them to the store when they didn't feet my son's feet (he's growing like a monster). So everything was fine (we thought) until a collection department for kohl's began to call regarding unpaid account balance?! I had just paid the account in full at the store just prior to the return not realizing we were charged a $3 return fee. This went on for 30+ days apparently. Also I didn't realize once you go paperless kohl's automatic response to contacting you is email only! Really? But you will call from the collections department and then send me a letter 10 days later to let me know I was sent into "delinquency" on my credit report causing an 80 point hit > 80! Point hit for what was now $7 with fees. So I was ruined over $3 f*ing dollars. Sad that kohl's did me like that. And in case you're wondering the so called emails... Well because kohl's does not list itself in the email title it auto drops into spam. Great job kohl's! And forget about calling, transferred around for over 2 hours (mind you the call centers are outside the usa) with only to get the worst of supervisors with a "you should read your emails" response. Needless to say I dropped kohl's like a bad habit, no longer spend my money there, and convinced my parents and friends to do the same. F*ck you kohl's!
