I went to Aspen for a cleaning. The dental hygienist cleaned my teeth. Proceeded to tell me I needed to clip the strings under my tongue and upper lip because it may cause acid reflux.
I also needed a $150 treatment for my teeth and gums. In addition, I also needed to buy a water pik.
The Water Pik I purchased came with a sonic toothbrush. I did the water pik for about a month an that is when the acid reflux started. (I still use the sonic toothbrush)
Not sure that the $150 gum teeth chemicals might have caused the acid reflux.
Really bad in the beginning. Burping what felt like an oz of acid. I got over the counter med and it stopped briefly. It stared back. It has been almost two months now with just the burning in my esophagus. Drinking aloe vera juice to heal that and watching what I eat.
She also told me to use CloSYS rinse.
Never had acid reflux until I went to aspen dental.
