On August 29th at 9:01 p.m., I placed an order via the Chick-fil-A Drive-thru at Store Kingstowne Town Center in Alexandria, VA with transaction # 8480 address of location: 5808 Kingstowne Ctr, Alexandria, VA 22315. As the customer displaying patronage to this Franchise location I was appalled that the Caucasian Young Man (Name is unknown) at register # 56 and on the printed label it indicates for "Team Member: Order" that when I arrived to the window to pick-up the order for which I paid for that the young man explicitly responded to my question to change my drink order to a sweet tea with light ice. He directed the runner and also I heard clearly as well his explicit statement, "It's too late... no, it's too late." I am appalled that Chick-fil-A would permit their staff to refuse a patron from modifying their order for which the patron (I) is/am the reason Chick-fil-A is in business is as a result of how meeting their patronages reasonable expectations and leaving them satisfied to return to the store for a future visit. Unfortunately, this is not the impression I was left with at this particular location.
Desired outcome: I desire a genuine and sincere apology from or on behalf of your staff. In addition, I hope more coaching and training in the areas of customer relations will follow as a result.
