I bought a new 5th from Camping World in St George Ut. It took them 4 days to ready the Keystone rv for me to take. At the end of 4 days they could not fix all the items and told me to take it and go to my local Camping World 300 miles away. I took it as I had to go home. After getting home I waited 2 days and took it to the local dealership in Draper Ut. I was told by St George that they had called ahead and they would be aspecting me. Not true they were surprised and not very happy to get my rv. They winterized it and reviewed the 15 items on the work order. The main was the refrigerator needed to be replaced. After a week they reported that it would be weeks to be fixed based on the warranty work. I called the St George store where I bought it The GM there said he would have someone come and get it from Draper dealership and take it back to St George Ut and get it fixed quick. The Draper service manger called to make sure that they fixe everything. They had found more things that needed to be fixed Two weeks later I happened to be in St George to see how things were coming. At that time nothing had been done. I called the next week and asked when? They finally said it would be ready and returned to me the next Monday. It’s now been over a month since I bought the rv.
When they returned it to me o inspected it I found out of the 15 items on the work order only 3 items were done. The service departing St George contacted me and said the vendor would contact me to fixe a few items on the list and do it at my home. Been over 5 weeks and they still have not contacted me. And to top it off the brand new Anderson 5 th wheel hitch was all dinged up and chewed up. I found another item that needs to be repaired as well. So I recontacted the Draper Camping World the service agent I contacted (Malala) was happy to help and as updated me more that the sales store in St George I’m still waiting for the vendor to come fix the interior items and then I have to take to Draper Camping World to get the items still on the work order list.
I escalated this to the corporate level which it satiated the CEO Marcus would make it right. Not so they were just concerned with the BBB complaint I filed against Camping World I’m making payments on a NEW rv that I can’t use.
Please think twice before you buy from Camping World
