My grandson's dog was also treated at VCA in Texas they knew he had a cut on his paw and was bleeding a lot, however they chose to put him on a table and make him wait 3 hours until being seen, then they said he needed surgery and for us to leave him that they would call when he was ready to be picked up. The Vet called an hour later to say he had passed away however they were trying to resuscitate him. If Boomer had already passed why would they be trying to resucitate? Just to add an additional fee. They just hung up we called back and got no answer, a few minutes later she called to say he had passed. My grandson was charged $1500 down pmt. to even see him then when we arrived to pick up the dog they would not release the dog until we pd. an additional $492 for the resuscitation. They said he lost too much blood or maybe a blood clot or allergic too the anastesia but he was there for 3 hours before even being taken care of while we were in the waiting room thinking they were taking care of him in the back room. How could this happen to our wonderful pet and member of our family. The staff didnt know how to explain it or know what happened, they were amatures at best .
Desired outcome: Close these people down they are not fit to take care of anyones precious pet. Refund for services not performed
