Good evening,
A customer for over 15 years. On 02/24/2021, about 6:15pm, a $22 purchase (spicy chicken sandwich with mac/cheese, 2 pc combo w/drink, and 3 pc wing combo w/drink. I had to have exact change due to lack of change, no problem.
I live about 25 minutes from the location and was already tired. When I got home I was livid when I opened my order. 2 pc my daughter said her dry and hard to eat. The 3 pc, I received two wings and a leg (without prior explanation). The chicken was way too old to sell - literally black. I was able to eat only the crust (darker than normal), and did my best to pull what little decent meat I could. I ended up giving the pieces to my dog.
No customer should have to pay $1 dollar for what I received, let alone $22 minus the sandwich and side.
I don't like to complain, but this was inexcusable. Popeye's is not the best in customer service, but it is one of the best commercial chicken companies, and the reason they are leading. I'll continue patronizing Popeyes, but 'never' this location again.
