On 02/06/21, I ordered a reclining chair and sofa in Dallas, TX (Invoice # 0206108NAWC). The order is worth over $5, 000 and I put down half of that. I was initially given a six-month delivery window - which struck me as outrageous. When six-months came and went, I called the store and was informed that my new delivery date was "by the end of 2021." When that time neared, I called again... only to find out that La-Z-Boy can't give me any firm date at this time. In 30 days, I'll have waited a year. I've initiated all the contacting, each time talking to a manager who admits they can't tell me anything concrete. The one thing they will tell me is that, if I insist on canceling my order, I'll forfeit my $2, 500+ deposit. A curious approach to responsable customer service.
Desired outcome: Obviously, I want my order delivered immediately, a firm delivery date, or my money back.
