On Monday, October 10th around 8:43pm a friend and I went to have dinner at the location on 41st and Garnet. The place was pretty much empty only about 6 customer in the entire restaurant. "Summer" our waitress was very friendly, nice and polite, we gave her our order at about 8:50PM because we already knew what we wanted. I order the riblet dinner with loaded mashed potatoes (received no loaded potatoes), Caesar salad, and she ordered the Quesada burger with fries. I food arrived at our table after an hour. The food was terrible my mashed potatoes were iced cold and her burger was cold and when she took a bite she bit into something hard that only cracked her tooth. We showed the waitress and she said it was bacon.
We sent our food back waited another hour four remake our order arrived again wrong. We waited a long time again for the 2nd remake they delivered our order in to go boxes and give us a meal ticket to requesting payment. Less who said he was the cook came to our table for the 4th time explaining he took a few dollars off and to come back Wednesday for a free meal. No thanks I will not be returning back the service is poor which is why when I looked up the address and phone the restaurant has a 2.4 rating. Desired outcome: I am not sure what the desired outcome should be, but I don't want a free meal I am afraid it will be a poor quality. Well, desire outcome is to coach employees on better service. Apples used to be one of my favorite places to eat.
I work at the Applebee's in Easley South Carolina and to be honest I do not know how it is still open the kitchen area is nasty the broiler and flat top are disgusting it smells and I am not the only employee that works there so I am not going to waste my time when nobody else is going to clean
