Home Depot - lg refrigerator model lfxs24623

Good Afternoon,
My husband and I purchased a refrigerator from Home Depot in Lakewood NY on 25 June 2019. The refrigerator came with free delivery and installation. I told the sales clerk my husband is going into surgery and he will not be home to help me set up the refrigerator. Is delivery and set up included? She assured me it was. The delivery and installation was set up for 28 June from a contacted delivery company. The refrigerator arrived on time but it was difficult to bring it through the door. They tried to bring it in the other door but then it would not fit through the archway into the kitched where it needed to be. At this point the delivery men said we are done we're outta here we are not doing this. I called my husband in the hospital who called my brother in law to come and help me. He was going to take the railing off the stairs so they could get it through the kitchen door but at that point they were done. They said we will leave it in the barn and send someone back tomorrow to set it up. They did just that and left it in the barn. I called the next day to get someone else out here to get it in the kitchen and set it up but no one would come out. My brother in law and nephew had to remove the old fridge, bring in the new one and hook up the refrigerator.

I then went to the home depot where I bought the fridge to talk to the main manager and was given the run around there as well. I was told the manager was in a meeting and they sent me to the appliance manager. I said I would wait for Doug but they said no he may be a while. The appliance manager or who I thought was the appliance manager said Doug the store manager is in a meeting and asked me to explain to her what I happened. I went through the whole entire story and she said said I'll have to get the appliance manager I am the outdoor and Garden. At this point I was livid. I left my name and number for Doug to call me and on this date 3 Aug I have heard nothing from Doug or the delivery/installation company.

This is very unprofessional. I was told the refrigerator would be delivered and installed and the old refrigerator would be removed. This did not happen and the crew was very unprofessional and rude. Again my brother in law and nephew did all the work and they should be compensated for it not the delivery and installation crew. I would like to be able to compensate my family that helped me and I would like to know what is being done if anything about the delivery crew. I hope that Home Depot would never use them again.

I am requesting a response to this this inquiry and it will weigh heavily on whether or not I purchase anything from Home Depot again or recommend it to my family, friends and associates. Thank you so much for your time and investigation into this matter.
