Advance Auto Parts advertises the safe delivery of products curbside/contactless by putting the products in your trunk. However, as has happened to me twice at store 9359 in Miami, FL this is not the case.
They do bring the products outside to your car but then you have to sign a receipt within perhaps one foot of the store representative, which totally makes this safe delivery protocol useless; the store rep. is standing right next to you breathing on you as you open the car window to sign the receipt.
I suspect this protocol of having to sign for the products, which nullifies the safe interaction that Advance Auto Parts advertises is happening throughout their other stores. This represents a grave problem not only of false advertising but is also a very serious public health issue.
In many other stores they do the same type of outside delivery with no signing of a receipt, therefore no contact and they don't mislead their customers.
