Price Chopper

Tamara is watching self checkout, but being rude to customers. At first, I just thought she was having a bad day, but then she continued to yell over me about how I was handling my groceries? And disconnected the printer of the cashier who was trying to check me out. I was even more surprised when she had her manager come out. I thought I was supposed to be the one to report her actions, but ok. He did make her stop and she had to plug everything back in so I could be checked out. What was even more odd is that afterward the manager looked at me and said “I don't know what happened but we don’t see color here”. I looked around and slowly realized I was the only white person in the store. It was very sad to realize that this was an attempt of bringing racism into price chopper. It was like something out of the twilight zone. I understand there are a lot of unhappy people out there, but if we can work together and put ourselves in each other's shoes, we can make the world a better place, not a worse place. Lift each other up because life is hard enough without hate. I think everyone deserves a chance to learn to from their mistakes, but please at least check into issues and maybe don’t leave this employee in the checkout position if she’s struggling to overcome her demons.
