I fully respect it is hard to describe one’s hair colour over the phone, so I made a special trip into the city to go into the saloon to discuss what I would like done.
At that time they asked who my stylist had been the last time and I shared her name (best haircut of my life!) and so I felt confident coming to the same Vidal Sassoon location for my colour.
In the day of my appointment I arrived early to make sure I was ready when the colourist was. When she final came to my chair she said there was nothing she could do for my hair - she said this before Ben asking about what I wanted. I was shucked, and her loud tone and rudeness about it caused all the women around me to look up from their phones. I told her I had come into the city just for this and had come in person to book my appointment and she said “how do you think I feel, you’re a waste of my time”.
I do not feel anyone should ever be alone to like that, but especially not when I’m a slob for a beat treatment. Telling a woman she is a waste of time is not something excusable, in my opinion.
If it helps, my hair is one year uncoloured and grown out grey and silver and all I was hoping for was any service to help blend the very light ends a little, highlights, toner, anything she had suggested I would have been open to doing. My hair is also in very healthy condition as I only wash it once per week and use the products sold here in the Vidal Sassoon Salon.
Thank you for hearing my complaint and I genuinely hope another person if never told they are a waste of time in your salon.
