While waiting for my order at the Starbucks I witnessed extremely rude and appalling behavior by several of the workers behind the counter. There was a customer in front of me who had an encounter with the cashier who mistakenly charged him for a bottle of water he had purchased from a different vendor. When she was advised the water wasn't even the same brand or size sold at Starbucks, she rushed him along and didn't bother to apologize for her error. When his order was ready, he ordered a beverage and several sandwiches, another girl literally slid each sandwich across the counter instead of either handing them to him or placing them in front of him. He asked if could have a bag and she huffed, rolled her eyes, walked away and came back with the bag. Because when she slid the food to him, one of the sandwich bags got wet from whatever liquid was on the counter, he asked for another bag. She and another worker pretended not to understand what he was asking for (he had an accent but spoke perfectly fine English). I proceeded to tell each of them he needed another bag because the one they gave him was wet. This young man asked me if he did anything wrong, I assured him he did not and they were just being rude! I advised him to call the number on his receipt or send an email and report the poor service he received, I hope he did, but just in case he didn't, I will! If the people who work at this Starbucks are incapable or disinterested in treating every customer with dignity and respect, they should not work there!
Desired outcome: Properly train your workers in providing acceptable customer service!
