On Thursday 5/13/21 @ 100 S Michigan branch in Chicago, Illinois I walked in to cash a check drawn on a Citibank account. I presented my ID then they asked for my phone number and social. I Asked to speak to manager, to show me this in writing and to no avail he couldn't. Called customer service to see if these were new rules he said no. Went to another branch down the street, they cashed check no issues. Why am I in this day and age still being racially profiled. And to prove my point, I sent a colleague of mine into the same branch with a check in the same amount, and the check was cashed with no further information needed. No phone number, no social security. Mr Carlos Acevedo is the Branch Manager, and I am asking for him to be relieved of his position.
Desired outcome: I want Mr. Carlos Acevedo NMLS ID:1059595 to be relieved of his position effectively immediately.
