I have CebturyLink Internet - I pay $50 a month for advertised "high-spees" internetIn reality, it is DOWN roughly 50% of the time, dropping ar varying times throughout the day and night... (overall - I am disabled, so can't do a lot EXCEPT go online or, due to CenturyLink's incompetence - twiddle my thumbs or read)
All they say is "Problems at CenturyLink" WHEN they don't deny there's a problem and have you reboot your router repeatedly for hours while their workmen fix the issue. I am never even offered partial refunds or future discounts, or ANYTHING except for a "sorry for the inconvenience," even when they are down for a week or more.
If I had ANY other choice of provider in my area, I would jump on it in a heartbeat. I have dealt with 7 different companies in the past 10 years (I moved around a lot before MS killed my mobility) and, ranking them in order, with #1 being the best, CenturyLink would be in the 30s at best!
Their customer service people are extraordinarily nice though.
Desired outcome: Make CenturyLink get fixed to where they are a decent competitor for internet service, rather than needing to rely on local area monopolies.
