I purchased a car from Hyundai initially on January 31, 2020. They called me on February 1, 2020 saying they can lower my payments. I went up there and they wrote me out another loan. Unlike the previous loan this loan included $2400 for a service contract. $895 for gap protection, and $999 for Car Care protection. I went home and realized I really don't need all of these add-ons since Hyundai has the best warranties on the market. I canceled these services on February 14, 2020 and got a cancellation form. They told me it would take two to three weeks for Capital One Auto to receive the check for this cancellation. After three weeks I called Capital One Auto, and asked them if they received the check so it can be applied to my principal. They advised me they did not, and to call JM&A to see if the check has been sent. JM&A advised they had no record of a contract for me, and showed no account for me, and I should contact Hyundai. I went to Hyundai, and spoke to a Finance Manager, and he said there was no JM&A contract activated. I asked him how he can give me a cancellation for a account that doesn't assist, and he told me he didn't know, and to wait for Keith who was the finance agent that wrote up my contract. I waited over two hours, and he still didn't show up. I then went to the customer service desk, and asked for the human resource department. She then gave me over to her manager in the service department. Who couldn't help me with this specific issue. He called another Manager, and I spoke to him. He asked me who did my contract, and I told him Keith. He then asked me if I wanted to wait there why resolved this, or go home and he will call me later today. That call from Maurice never came. This is unacceptable behavior for someone who has been as loyal to Hyundai as I have been. This is really bad customer service, and I refuse to recommend this Hyundai to anyone else.
